Engineering Gift Guide 2024 Review
Purdue University's 2024 Engineering Gift Guide (released 11/19/2024) is filled with 40 gifts to help children and teens better understand and develop an interest in microelectronics.
engineering.purdue.edu/INSPIRE/EngineeringGiftGuide/2024/overview
For 11 consecutive years, our annual gift guide has helped millions of parents and caregivers to choose thoughtful, engineering-inspired holiday presents that encourage kids to design, build, code, play, and discover how things work. In previous years, the guide featured engineering-based games, toys, and books with the potential to help children explore what it means to be an engineer. This year, Purdue focused on a specific aspect of cross-disciplinary engineering called microelectronics, which refers to the design and manufacture of very small electronic designs and components typically made from semiconductor materials.
The gift guide is produced by INSPIRE Research Institute for Pre-College Engineering, a research program within Purdue's School of Engineering Education (ENE) dedicated to integrating engineering with science, math, and language arts in pre-college classrooms. INSPIRE engages learners and promotes participation of students from groups underrepresented in engineering.
Purdue ENE faculty and staff led a dedicated Student Research Team to evaluate gifts in three microelectronics-related categories: 1) circuitry, 2) robotics, and 3) coding/programming.

Deep Dive Q&A: How do high school students best prepare to study engineering in college?
The ending of Dr. Ross' interview resonates with me so much as I listen while facing the reality that the only thing keeping me from being ABD is choosing to turn in a decent dissertation proposal by June.
"the doctorate's for me"
2:56 NASA as the "other companies"
Does this degree help in the automotive industry?
Our Visual Design Engineers are employed in a variety of sectors, including the automotive industry (which includes electronic vehicles). Design is a very broad professional category. For example, some alumni focus more on the design/modeling/simulation aspects of engineering design and some work in the space between product development and manufacturing. Some focus more in the consumer products space working at the interface between marketing-users-technology (everything from Apple to Hasbro to Black and Decker to…). Some are in the defense industry.
Hello friends, I need people who are teachers in the field of aeroastro. Can you help me?
the amount of click bait in this clip
i just wanna know what they do when they clock in and get paid their wage, like what are they actually doing? It's always about flexing the hard courses, but what is after the schooling?
I am planning to do a masters in internet of things interdisciplinary engineering program at Purdue University. My goal is to do a PhD in the field of IoT after my masters. Is this program helpful for me to set up a career in the field of IoT and autonomous systems.

This is really informative. Thank u
Hi I have a question about studying aerospace engineering for international students... Could they study second bachelor degree in Purdue?
Click bait, I I here is about this college
How much math would be needed for this I am very passionate of the environment as well as engineering but math is difficult for me.
rip
This is what i like, is it clear, Elon? Engeneering is what i like. And i am tv-journalist!!!! And i am master-chief. Is it clear? @elonmusk
Amazing!
hello hi, please how can i geta scholarship in aeronatical engineering
I was sooo confused at why a Golf Club would need an aero astro graduate until I realized he is talking about clubs and not the entire course and clubhouse 😂
Same lol XD
Putting the pieces together: Industrial Engineering
Ma'am please help me te get started in Industrial Engineer. I am an Industrial Engineer in mu country Philippines for 10 years. I have also worked in Pakistan for 3 years as Industrial Engineer i. the Engineering Department. I have migrated here in United States because of my parents and from then on i have never used my profession. I have switched to a customer service field and recently started my cleaning business i. Bayonne New Jersey. I am thinking of pursuing my career in I dustrial Engineer but i don't know how to start. Thank you so much i. advance for reading my comments.
Hello po. May I know if magkano starting salary as IE sa Philippines?
"The Pocket Guide To Making Stuff Better" is a great ebook on Industrial Engineering
Me to
Aerodynamics1,2 and aircraft structure 2 one of the toughest subject in engineering
How should I prepare for these courses?
at 4.51, I rather use raspi zero with wireless etherner , 4B uses up a lot of power.
Congratulations and good to see you again PB!
yo where my boys in Mr. rosel's class at?
this class is so fun!!!!!!
Do we train astronauts? -Well yes, but actually no.
@Savanna Jones fixed

I actually learned much from your video... Thanks so., keep up.
Can an Indian Aeronautical engineer take up Asto engineering in her master's? Will I be able to get a job considering all security clearance involved in USA?
NASA and other federal agencies require you to be a US citizen. Private companies like SpaceX are more lenient - you should be able to work on any project that doesn't involve the US government.
@@dorukayhanwastaken Actually under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), companies like SpaceX that develop propulsion technology are prohibited from hiring foreign workers. It may be possible to get a job at an aerospace contractor uninvolved with propulsion in the United States. Or you could work for ISRO which will be exciting in the coming years!
@@0siiris and to be able to work at SpaceX you need to be a American Citizen "Other than extremely rare exceptions, you must be a U.S. citizen in order to work for NASA" (It says NASA but i don't see why it won't apply for SpaceX)
@@idont3282 but elon has made it clear
If you can get past ITAR, you’re golden. If you can’t… well…
I actually got a letter from you as a freshman
