Our FIRST MTB gap jump (2021) | Like Father Like Son | Ted Williams | San Diego, CA
Back in 2021 when we started riding more seriously. I think anyone's first gap jump always feels like a big accomplishment. Still a lot of progress to be made. Kudos to my dad for trying despite not being 100% that day.

Was feeling good and planning on doing my best run yet on Hemlock Epoch. Things went differently... On this step up that I've always had issues clearing I pulled a dead sailor in the air, bike went sideways, and my reflex was to stick my foot out. They finally opened these amazing lines right off the main parking lot. You can have a blast with your dirt jumper, regular mtb, and ebike of course. It consists of 3 lines (green, blue, and black). As always, in a typical Kanuga fashion, it's really well built and has nice flow.

One of my goals for this year was to clear Tortuga, the blue jump line at Kanuga. This day finally came! Interestingly enough I saw my first turtle at Kanuga that day.
This line is a STRUGGLE for me, and my bike takes a beating!

This very anticipated bike park in Northwest Georgia opened its doors recently. I was finally able to make my way there with much excitement. It did not disappoint! Amazing trails, but it usually takes me some time to clear lines like these. Just a few months after our previous fails in San Diego... We crashed at Kanuga bike park riding the 2 single black diamond trails: Hemlock Epoch and Paint It Black. Early 2021, my dad and I both crashed when trying to get some air. We had just started mountain biking a few months prior and disregarded some of the basic rules of MTBing.

Local trail within 10 min from my house, can't beat it. This trail system is particularly good, however mostly XC riding.

One of Kanuga's favorites. It's a long flow green trail with some uphill sections. Unlike what I did, I would recommend to keep motor on trail or boost if using ebike.

When I go to Kanuga, I tend to warm up on GNCC. That day, after 3 hours of riding, I ended up doing the last run on it as well. Figured it would be interesting to see a side by side comparison of the 2 runs.

Great blue trail located on Fire Mountain near Cherokee, NC. I highly recommend it. Be careful, leaves in the fall/winter make it slippery! Excuse the video size change towards the end.

I appreciate the support! You definitely won't regret making the trip to Jarrod's Place, tons of fun trails and progressive jump lines. Yes, Kanuga without an Ebike is quite the workout. Shuttle service is definitely a game changer.
