2023 CBR 650R installation Putting clip ons is the best way to make the bikes riding ergonomics better.. for aggressive sportsbike riding… which i think is one of two things the cbr650r lacks in order for it to be a sportsbike… #cbr650r #cbr650f #cbr650 #hondacbr650r #clipons #diy #motorcycle #motorcyclemods
Hi bro. I already lower the fork by 0.5 inch to install the damper. Would it be okay to install this riser clip on without any clearance?
i assume it would be ok.. since the whole bike drops if you lower the front fork..
@ ya bro. Already install the clip on. No clearance. The bike looks amazing. Riding position become more fun.
Can you post links on where to get everything I need for this setup?
i got everything on amazon bro.. idk if its the same where you are from… but sure il look it up and post the links of everything.
what are these handlebars and where did you get it from..??
amazon bro… just be sure to put thread lockers when installing..
Cheers for the video
What size are the clip ons? 48mm?
48mm bro
what did you torque the triple tree to when putting it back together ?
Steering stem nut should be 103nm, top bridge pinch bolt 22nm, handlebar pinch bolt 27nm
Hi mate, could you include some pictures on how you look on that clip-on modification. Wanna see the rider triangle. Thank you
Just bought the same ones and gonna have them installed tomorrow. I got you

@@kylepatrick8190 sorry took so long.. i was very busy with work and its already winter time here.. just posted a short to show you the riders triangle
@@reel_gh0st Thanks for this! I have done the same to my CBR500R and added a Sato clone rearset off Ebay and it's awesome. Definitely needed some tank grips to stop sliding when in that more aggressive position, but it's good fun. Also need to stretch before each ride! My poor hips! Am still thinking about getting the 650 and doing this mod to them. If I do, might look into getting somewhere local to fabricate a 1/2 inch rise version - bet that'd solve the clearance issues but get that little bit more (you're using 1-inch risers right?)
Hey mate, where did you get these clip-ons from? I have been looking for a clip-on solution for this bike for ages. This seems to be the only video where it works without any compromises. Cheers
i got it on amazon mate.. fxcnc racing is the brand 48mm..
good video brother🔥
thanks man.. i appreciate it 🙏🏼
glad u got the right ones bro, look really good, hope they make it feel better tooo. do u think an inch down from oem would work ???
sadly no..the one that i got is the max it could go down without creating clearance issues… but its already pretty good since the angle of the handlebars are pointing downwards which is a world of difference from the oem ones.. you could feel it while youre on corners…
@@reel_gh0st just wondered, the drop does look considerable because of the angle <3
I have the cb650R and I just got the oem clipons and thinking about swapping from the standard bars to the clipons.
check this out bro.. this is the right clip on to put so that there is no clearance issues.. CBR650R handle bar clearance FIX th-cam.com/video/NjldPU59t2o/w-d-xo.html
