Sehr informativ! Heute hörte ich zum ersten Mal davon, dass es auch chromatische Mundharmonikas gibt. Die klingt schön, aber immer nur ein Ton. Ich habe eine diatonische, spiele aber auch verschiedene andere Instrumente wie Akkordeon oder steirische Harmonika und etliche andere.

Hi, I practice chromatic harmonica. I am interested in classical chromatic, like great Tommy Reilly. I believe there is a book by Tommy and also Douglas tate. I wrote to them. But no response. Is there a way to get it. Can you share it. Frankly if these books are not on public domain, it will be lost for ever. Kindly reply.

Irgendwie unprofessionell! Schade! Denn mit Sicherheit kannst du gut mit der Muha spielen! Allerdings als "Unterricht" würde ich das eher nicht bezeichnen. Zu wenig vorbereitet, zu viel Gestotter, zu wenig didaktisch aufbereitet. Schade!! Was interessiert den Anfänger die Art des Schiebers? Oder drei- bzw. vieroktavig? Das sind doch Nebensächlichkeiten,die es in einem Anfängerkurs eigentlich nicht geben sollte. Ganz klar dann eben NUR auf der dreioktavigen alles spielen. Dann das "Spielen" nebenher am P mit dem Notensatzprogramm! Auch davon - so finde ich - hat ein "Anfänger" nicht viel! Klare Kante mit klar dargestellten Noten, dazu für den Anfang z. B. die Kanalnummer und blasen oder ziehen wäre sinnvoller! Und auch ob ich beim Wechsel von einem auf den nächsten Kanal den Kopf bewege oder meine Muha führe, ist auch zweitrangig. Das ergibt sich später ganz automatisch, wenn man geübt ist. Denn da kommen dann auch Sprünge über mehrere Töne, sprich Kanäle, vor, die man mit Kopfbewegungen sicher nicht machen kann! So zeigt mir hier die "1.2." eben nicht für Anfänger geeignet. Habe vorhin auch kurz bei "1.2.3." reingescheut. Aber mein Fazit bleibt dasselbe! Übrigens: ich spiele seit über 50 Jahren die Chrom, habe natürlich auch die Super 64, spiele aber am liebsten auf der Hohner CX 12. Und das hat einen ganz einfachen Grund: supereinfach zu zerlegen und somit ruckzuck gereinigt! Zudem kann ich nach dem Spielen den Schieber ganz einfach herausnehmen, denn dann kann durch JEDEN Kanal Luft zirkulieren und das Instru- ment trocknet dadurch viel besser!

I'm impressed that you found a hard copy of that book. I've been trying to find a copy of His book "Tommy reilly Harmonica method" but it seems impossible to find (I found the mp3s though). Anyways, nice playing!

Hallo Tommy, toll was Du hier zeigst. Das habe ich immer gesucht. Ich spiele schon länger Chromatik. Also 1. Leider kann man die Notenblätter nicht so erkennen dass man sie nachspielen könnte. Sie sind echt noch zu klein. Zum 2. welche Mundharmonika ist das die Du da spielst. Sie hat einen schönen, warmen Klang. Liebe Grüße Werner
