I’m also surprised they printed dedenne alongside mew which is bad into pikachu. At least tauros 1 shots pikachu

I like playing 4 marowak pair with fossils. 2 EX and 2 non EX. Since fossils aren't consider a basic pokemon it'll be a guarantee cubone in the starting hand. Since there'll be 4 marowak the likelyhood on evolving cubone is very high. Aerodactyl EX is going replace my kabutop evolution line making my deck a lot stronger.
That sounds really interesting, that’ll give your deck two different modes
Gengars ability to controll the game is better than aerodactyls for sure
Time will tell ! Gengar definitely has potential but hasn’t been consistent enough to be super meta
You have to remember, ones a 3 stage evolution whereas aerodactyl is a 2 stage so you can set up a turn earlier, you also have less rng waiting on cards to come into your deck. Aerodactyl has the chance to be good but things like pikachu ex simply shut him down, I don't think it will struggle too much against mewtwo as a mewtwo deck that can't evolve into a gardevoir can be pretty easy to beat at times.
meta ruins the fun.
Melmetal is lowkey one of the best non EX decks, behind maybe dragonite and Khoga decks.
I still need to check out that deck !

I think that Mew EX will be good in Char decks for the mirror match to take out their char without the risk of your own then an easy sweep with your own char afterwards

Been running this deck since day one, imo raichu is far better

They always seem to pull both mewtwos and at least the ralts and kirlia first turn.
I had hoped we'd get more evolutions in the game cause my favorite Pokemon is Politoed but all but him came in the beginning 😭

Very interested to see how things go with the new Vaporeon. Also, Dedenne looks like it could be a good Pincurchin alternative for Lightning decks, being able to start dropping Paralysis on turn one
Vaporeon could add some nice retreating options for water decks when paired with Misty but I don’t think it’ll be toooo strong. Completely agree with you on Dedenne
I find NOEX funner than meta decks. My favorite so far is CruelNinja deck I use.

Personally I win a lot more consistently with Articuno EX than Mewtwo EX. The latter is getting a bit tired and easy to counter with anything quick, even with the insane energy gen Mewtwo can have. Red cards rule. Watching my wonder picks to try for a couple Starmies to try that one, I find I'm pretty much 50/50 against that deck atm. Also still waiting on a second Pikachu EX to give that deck a shot, it's amazing how fun such a simple TCG can be from a long-term MTG / YGO player. It fits a phone game so well!
Late to the party but I’ve been ruining dreams with victreebel. Having both your EX be basics really hurts.

I prefer Farfetch’d because it’s 40 damage for only 1 energy, great for attacking on your first turn. Magmar is a good option too though

it's a good deck but get's easily beaten by the more meta decks like pikachu ex or mew two, even any variation of the dragonite deck beat's it pretty consistently, it only wins if you get a perfect set up. the problem is you only have 6 pokemon cards, while having 14 trainer cards so youo have a greater chance of getting only trainer cards and not setting up..
Yeah, every game I try to play casually everyone tries to be sweaty even this game has fallen victim to the sweat

@ can’t argue with that. Just did my first 10 pack opening and got the immersive Charizard EX so I’m super happy rn!!
@mcminecraftman I mean I'm sure there are pay to win players but if you choose packs and save up points with a target in mind then it's just a matter of time. People get discouraged by wonder picks but it's still a 20% chance of getting what you want instead of relying on the .005 (or whatever it is) with packs and you do get a fair bit of rewards for solo missions. I think I've only used the free two weeks and like $10 just for fun.
