@@stryfetc1471 I finally beat it by the skin of my teeth with cloud down and Tifa with like 100hp left.. Everything else was easy lol.. weird balance on that one

This playthrough was normal. Punisher counter stun locks them for a bit it seems. That's how I always deal with swarms. (Wait for the 15 tonberries one later 😅)

Just focus on first kill I equipped with stagger materia for cloud and tifa

I just noticed that earlier!....I finally beat it after FOUR HOURS!....I thought to myself, "if THIS is "easy" level, what the hell happens in the hard mode!?👀" 😂😂

@@stryfetc1471 They probalby will have more challenges to defeat with the same gimick.. except MP is only replenished at the end of the chapter without use of items. To me the best first experience is Dynamic Difficulty where rather progression is gated by your own progress and not the random grind... Hard Mode I feel will be a much faster run If you've done all the mini games. Slotting the right build for not having items availability through the whole playthrough will have to make you think of ways to use other means of MP conservation or negation.

I like how the XP for these fights does just that! Fun to power level early in the game

@@PlayerOneCosplay I just kept dying to the dragon at first. Then I put a "ranged team" for the dragons (Barret, Yuffie, Aerith) and the ground team for the machines (Cloud, Tiffia, Red XIII) and I beat it on my first try!

Tbf the game was already over 12 years old when this video was posted, at that point it was the single most well known death scene from any game ever. It’d be like getting upset about the Thanos snap getting spoiled in 2030. Also, the only way you’d ever see this video is if you specifically searched it up, this isn’t appearing in anyone’s recommended feed

​@@Jolene007 there's a lot of people who haven't played the original or were just introduced with FF7 Remake. I didn't search for this video, it was on my recommended. I get that long time fans may want to rewatch this scene but it's just a shame for potential newcomers to have one of the greatest games spoiled whilst surfing youtube. I also don't know what the Thanos snap is. I know he is the villain in marvel but I never watched the movies.

came here for more or less the same reason. i just wanted to hear the sad music during the jenova fight. i dont understand why they had to make a huge flashy fight sequence with funny quips during what is supposed to be a somber moment.

To be fair, the music for the first part of the Jenova fight was good but the transition into it wasn’t as good as I hoped and then they stopped using the song halfway through…

@John-dp2zt it was convoluted imo, in OG it was clear Cloud was "controlled", remake was confusing, was he controlled? Hallucinating? Was it whispers? Sephiroth?

@@josephstalin5374 they honestly kinda butchered this scene, they could've ended it with the first phase of jenova and had one of the best endings ever, not every ending to a game has to have music blasting and a multi-phase bossfight. the whole multiverse thing is just... on top of what they did to this scene, the weight of her death is lost bc she's alive in at least one other universe. loved the game but this one left a sore spot
