I just bought e-scooters. Are they permitted on the Causeway?
I have seen e-bikes on the trail. I would check local or state guidance to be sure. If you decide to use them it's a good idea to maintain safe speeds.
If my knees were not worn out it looks like fun . You should check out nature coast trail (I think that's the name) Goes from Trenton fl to Chiefland fl and cross city fl. And goes over Suwannee river.

I was born in Gainesville, moved to Miami at 5 and visited family in Ocala and Gainesville my whole life. Never actually visited the park tho. Thanks for sharing. Back in the day the "rainbow people" used to spend long periods of time there. You should try tubing or kayaking down the ichitucknee springs. Like a lazy river, just hop in a tube with friends and a cooler and let the current take you down the crystal clear and very cold waters. I recommend going in the summer when it's really hot. There's spots to pull over and have a swim over the caves. It's a cave divers dream. You can camp, cook and get in and out where you want along the way, either walk to take a tram back up the river for multiple runs during the day.
