I'm doing some homework about a setup like this. Can you please share some info about yours? Is it a High Spec kx027-4, with the extra hydraulic and 2 travel speeds? What engcon is fitted, ec02 or ec204? Can the tiltrotor be easily removed if you need the extra power for the bucket only? Is it using the original Kubota joysticks or the engcon ones? Not many around like this, so info is scarce. Many thanks! Tony

Interesting to hear how stable you feel the bobcat is, I own an e27z and really like it, also have a Robustrack flail similar to the ones you are using, it’s very impressive how much you can knock down in a day, the e27z really comes into its own when working right up next to walls though compared to the conventional. I suppose the trade off is a bit of stability though.

Clever bit of kit

Flails don't leave quite the same finish as fixed tooth but when you ( inevitably) hit something solid, at least it doesn't bugger the whole drum.... We used them mulching rail corridor, that looks like a lovely piece of kit, well priced too...

I’ve had one of these for a couple years now, I’m very impressed how it’s stood up to the abuse I’ve given it, sorting sandstone walling stones and using it with a hyd thumb to shift golf course grass heaps at the end of the season 👌🏻
