Hey Nyssa a power surge ruined my home office PC. I took it to Geek Squad and they could not power it. It was 11 years old. They said,``After 11 years its time to get a new one.'' I tried buying a new power supply and motherboard but it wouldn't fit my MSI case because it was a a 2013 model. My backup PC is 12 years old. When it turns on, it does so many things. The fan grinds and hums. Recently the power switch got jammed and it broke off. Now I have to take the panel off to turn it on.

I'm definitely a 'dark mode' type of guy, but these white PC builds are something to behold, yours included. Anyway, well done on the build, you did very well, considering this was pretty ambitious for a first build. I've built a few PC's over the years and still get a bit nervous when doing so because, you never know what problems you'll run into along the way, and when stuff doesn't work, you could be in for long periods of head scratching.
Hi great work on your pc, I was wondering what did you use the 9 pin usb splitter for and what did you use for ur fan and rgb hub for your fans?
Thank you so much ☺️!! The 9 pin was because my motherboard only had 2 usb ports and I needed more to be able to connect all my lighting devices. The 9 pin connects the lian li steamer and all the rgb for the fans. So then the other port on the motherboard is free to connect to aio. The fan hub box comes with the fans when you buy the 3 pack option and you can use the Lian li software to change the colors. Hope this helped 😄

There’s no way I’m just finding this out 😭🤦🏽♀️. I chose the parts myself based on what I mainly found aesthetically pleasing but also worked together and would give me good performance for the games I wanted

hey quick question i was looking to replace the fans on the kraken with lian li fans as well. did you buy 3 individual fans for the radiator or you bought the 3 pack with the rgb remote?
Yes I bought a three pack since that was easier for me and I knew I wanted to replace all three fans. But if you just want one of two fans, I’d deff just get the one pack. But keep in mind the one pack doesn’t come with the rgb box and you’d have to buy it separately.

How did u get the case usb to fit the motherboard? pcpartpicker says the motherboard is missing two usbs for the case
I got a usb extension cable from Amazon that had 4 pins. Sorry I forgot to include that in the video. My motherboard also doesn’t have the usbc connector for the case so I just didn’t connect that cause I don’t really need it. But if you do, I’d recommend getting a different motherboard. Or you can get an usbc adapter on Amazon that plus into one of the usb 2.0 ports and connect it that way.
Little tip. Turn you radiator to the other side so the aio screen isn't slanted 😅

The motherboard is supposed to light up on the bit where all the things plug in on the back, but as long as it works then I don’t see an issue
