I've had this same flashlight for a month and a half. It was great the first month. But now , and it's only returnable for 30 days, it will show it's fully charged but within 5 minutes or less it just turns off. It's not reliable even though it cost more my $3 flashlight is more reliable than this $40 flashlight.

These were not researched and this is just Joeys opinion on what a great product it is. The solar charge is no good..

I just used the s1-pro last night, very bright but the sensor got in the way and kept turning off. I like the nebo light that is very comparable to the S1-pro and only wish the S-1 didn't shut off as such.

Your knife is a counterfeit. I got the same thing knowing it would likely be one. Honestly, in use, I've been quite happily abusing the snot out of it! And I like it! Once I got over feeling a bit butt hurt for buying a fake... Who knows what mystery chineseum metal it's actually made of, but it has performed around the camp fine. I'm not afraid to hand it to someone else, not afraid to dig around in the fire coals, etc... Works great as a camp knife. I'm hoping my friend with the Giger counter is home so I can test it. Maybe the Chicoms are getting rid of their contaminated reactor materials. Who knows! Makes a great conspiracy theory anyway!

What a lot of Amazon sellers do nowadays is inventory the real version and also counterfeit chinese versions. Then they randomly mix the fakes in with their sales, hoping that they'll still get a lot of good reviews for the real knives and that most people won't notice they got a fake. How I found this out was I scoured the reviews and pictures, and most were positive, but every once in while you'd see a negative review and a picture showing the fake. There's no way this is an "accident" on the sellers part. Think about it. They make an extra 20 or 30 dollars per unit every time they can get away with passing off a fake and selling it for the price of a real one.
