Strange aircraft/ drone sighting. Police drone?
This was approximately the size of a small private jet, lit across the entire front with a number of blue lights, green across the back, and completely silent. It was a fixed wing design.

Trying to get some bugs worked out with the elevator and the terrible quality supplied pushrods. I've had to replace these on every Seagull plane I own.

I had taken all the down trim out of the elevator from the maiden where near the end I had to put a lot of down because of the empty fuel tank and having lost nearly a pound of stick on weights put on temporarily that had fallen off during the near 17 minute maiden. It almost cost me on this flight having taken all the down elevator back out thinking I would just re-trim it this flight since I ...

Just got t34 from gator same thing way too tail heavy
Just balance her out. She flies awesome for such a heavy bird.
@@tennriverluver3534 Thanks for posting on rc groups. I will maiden soon.
@@tennriverluver3534 One other thing what was your cg measurement from leading edge. the manual says 120mm
@@jamesboatbuild No mine was a little further back. Engineer friend gave it a range back to 150mm but I don't recall off the top of my head where mine is. Before I fly mine again I'm going to remove some lead and use my 8000 and 8200s instead and get some amazing flight times hopefully. If I get a chance I'll go measure where I have mine marked.
Nice Flight and a beautiful Plane. 👍🏻 Wished I had room. City Park a mile away only to get frowned on or asked to leave & power lines , rooftops are all around my street where Helis do better .
Storage space doesn't look bad as the wings simply plug into this plane but she definitely needs a big area to spread her wings and fly. Not a Park Flyer by any means!
Are you using the sequencer module or just plugging the retracts straight into the receiver?
The module but the module simply plugs into the receiver with these. Very Very good retracts and gear by the way that have survived some very bad landings where the wings themselves did not. Stupid mistakes on my part, not the plane which is one of the easiest warbirds to land that I've ever flown.
Nice!!! Just need the camera man to use the zoom!! Looked like a nat on my screen 95% of the time. Lol
Best I can do with a GoPro that’s even zoomed in 2.5 with my editor.😢
Silky smooth flight!
TN another masterpiece of piloting! Bill is on the sticks!
All I can say is after god only knows after how many ten of thousands of hour piloting real planes and then 50 years of building , competing in scale events, and flying RC the dude knows wth he is doing and has the concentration of a Hawk!
@@tennriverluver3534 Always a fun watch!
Sorry Brent, I didn't bounce it on the landing!😅

What an amazing road! We are going to try and head out there next year. This will be our second trip to Colorado. We're supposed to visit the southern half of the state, but I'd love to incorporate this into our trip somehow.
I did most of the eastern 2/3s of the state while out there. Bucket list!. I just ran out of time and never got out west which I really still want to do. This road was by far my favorite of the entire trip! It has almost everything Colorado has to offer in it's 90??? miles or so. Can't remember. Just be warned there isn't much gas to be had between Ft Collins and Walden. I've had several friends thank me for this loop also. I was staying in Estes Pk and made the route down the backside of RMNP and then back through the park on Trail Ridge to get back to my cabin in Estes. Hope you enjoy your trip. I also got lucky I never ran into any hail or even rain to speak of. The week before I guy and his GF had been repeatedly hailed on every day on the same roads I had planned.
This would actually be worth doing both directions.
@tennriverluver3534 last time out there, we stayed around RMNP. It was in June and Trail Ridge had been closed due to snow. They opened it the day before we rode it. Still snow and little ice up top. We rode in a lot of rain on that trip and also ran into some vehicle problems we had to address. We had originally planned to go yo New York, but they were getting rain the entire week. Colorado had the least amount of rain and we could do it in a week. So we headed there. Even though we rode through a few storms and some rain while there it was a great trip. Definitely looking forward to going back. I appreciate the video and info.
@@tennriverluver3534 hopefully you'll get to go back out there one day.
Nice flying! Just wondering: would you possibly have any photos of the interior of the Phoenix J-3 90.5 inch airplane? I am especially interested in where you mounted the flap and aileron servos(s). Thanks!

It turned out very nicely didn't it?🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great to see you out again my friend 👍👍👍
Nice vid. Can you please share with me how you did cg? How much weight did you add, and where? Thanks
Sehr schöner flug tolles modell 😅
It seems to me the elevator range is too big and maybe add some expo to it. But I love this plane, hope to fly one myself one day (RC that is)
Nice. That tail rotor blade might be on backwards . 🤭
You still have this? Just subbed.
Yes still in pristine condition after 5 years.
hola amigos compramos 2 y en el primer vuelo los estrellamos son los aviones mas mal construidos que vi en mi vida y levo 25 años de aeromodelista
14 Minutes Too Long !
It keeps disappearing in the vid do you have a cloaking device?
WW2 Camo was effective 😂
DOH! I guess it would be pretty cool to fly an ice engine aircraft? That was fun particularly the ending😂🎉
Ouch! Catching up on video. Heh, you should try on my little strip. A curb caught my P-51😂
What mods did you add to your A-10?
Had to give up with that constant trim button. Try just a few notches, level flight to see how it sits, then another couple and repeat if necessary. Constant adjustment without checking for level flight will get you up, and down, hardly conducive to trimming for level.
Dude I was having to give it more and more up as it was nose heavy. I know what the hell I’m doing there. That’s exactly what I’m trying to do is get it to fly level but it was diving on me because I had to rework my elevators because the supplied clevises and pushrods were garbage and were slipping 🤬🤬
Ah yes, the Decathlon. I know it well. It's better that you fly it from grass like this. Ground handling isn't exactly stellar. But she's a hoot in the air. Snaps and spins galore! Have you checked the stall?
@@richard1472 oh yes and like my many Decathlons it can be nasty especially if at low altitude. This is my second one of these as the first was lost this spring when trying to take off in some nasty winds that lifted the plane off way to early and I wasn’t able to save the inevitable tip stall crash. Luckily I had this ARF as a backup and it’s actually a much prettier red than the first for some reason. The first plane I was actually taking off at our Spring fly in and was going to use the smoke system for the very first time to wow the crowd. They got entertained anyway since I’m the head of the entertainment committee at our club 😂😢😢😢
whats special addition means?
@@williewideback last year they made a limited batch of 100 using a different 12 blade EDF unit and reversing ESCs.
Nice landing!
NO aerobatics. And then you tries prop hanging :-D Good thing you kept flying!
Now, that's a proper model airplane. A great subject for FAI competition scale.
A pound of weight?
That liftoff made me poop my self
Just like flying a really big 1/2A model, right?
What the engine?
Stinger 26cc. Just finally looked to see what happened and I’d lost the screw along with the throttle arm. Lucked out the the throttle itself kinda stuck at about 1/3 throttle to keep on flying.
Congratulation It was excellent handled !!!!
A beautiful day and plane. Tried adding comments to the A-10 but it says not allowed? 😊
You must have been commenting on the one I deleted and replaced. Comments are on.
Cool. I had the Byron SW. Flew like a cub. It's still in perfect condition. Thanks for sharing.
Not bad at all. 👍👍👍
The landing went well but a 16 minute flight, out of fuel?
My neck was hurting lol
3W engine?
Just found out, Sachs engine
Excellent video Tennessee 👍👍👍

Where can I buy this light set?
Amazon
Does it come with retracts?
No. They sell a set of scale gear and electric retracts by JP separately that I used. Very pleased.
Pretty good flight, I like the two landings for the price of one! Engine sounds synchronized. Good job pilot!😊
Looks good. Seems like XK got this one right.
We left to early 😢 David wasn’t feeling it today
Thank you for recording this for me. This is an amazing flying plane. Just need to find a canopy for it.
My pleasure plus practicing for our upcoming event!
I have one I need to fly someday
Super smooth flying plane. It won’t cut up like modern airframes but flys so good and landings are better than a trainer
Complaints about tiny wheels on grass? All smallish model airplanes have small wheels and problems with grass, and ground looping on asphalt. Hard landings damage even quality retracts. Dynam sez that they are trying to improve on quality of retracts, servos, etc. Pay $100 more for a name brand foamy and maybe still have some problems. Retracts can be a PITA no matter the brand. Dynam models are not for inexperienced assemblers and beginning pilots, but are getting better.
Don't do maidens on windy days.
