I had taken all the down trim out of the elevator from the maiden where near the end I had to put a lot of down because of the empty fuel tank and having lost nearly a pound of stick on weights put on temporarily that had fallen off during the near 17 minute maiden. Now, that's a proper model airplane. A great subject for FAI competition scale.

What the engine?
Stinger 26cc. Just finally looked to see what happened and I’d lost the screw along with the throttle arm. Lucked out the the throttle itself kinda stuck at about 1/3 throttle to keep on flying.

Did you have problems with it being tail heavy? What size battery? Prop?
Oh wow this was so long ago but yes it needed a 2500-3000 battery to fly correctly. 2200 is too light.

Does it come with retracts?
No. They sell a set of scale gear and electric retracts by JP separately that I used. Very pleased.
Pretty good flight, I like the two landings for the price of one! Engine sounds synchronized. Good job pilot!😊

Super smooth flying plane. It won’t cut up like modern airframes but flys so good and landings are better than a trainer
Complaints about tiny wheels on grass? All smallish model airplanes have small wheels and problems with grass, and ground looping on asphalt. Hard landings damage even quality retracts. Dynam sez that they are trying to improve on quality of retracts, servos, etc. Pay $100 more for a name brand foamy and maybe still have some problems. Retracts can be a PITA no matter the brand. Dynam models are not for inexperienced assemblers and beginning pilots, but are getting better.
Don't do maidens on windy days.
What happend?
Did you use the 132mm COG as per manual? Im setting mine up now and wanted to see if COG was accurate per manual.
Nice flight and landing with the Ole Girl! I still have one myself with a sound system in it, but rarely fly it anymore. One of the first few RC planes I bought. Instead now fly the FW 1600mm Corsair when flying warbirds, so much more stable and powerful getting 10 minutes on a SMC 6S HiV 5900. But the Red Bull looked Cool! 🤙
This is a wall hanger but I'm going through flying planes that haven't been flown in a long time. I have new retracts for this one since the left is screwed up but that stays on the back burner due to many ARF builds,

TN it doesn't get much better than that very well done!! I had this older version it flew like a brick 3rd flight I stalled it on landing! sold it!
I purchased the Arf+ and put the 1900KV in it. It barely survived the maiden and barely went fast enough to keep in the air. Tip stall after tip stall before I luckily got it back onto the ground. Swapped in the 1960kv and it's a rocket ship. Still scratching my head over that as the F-22 and the T-45 fly great and very fast with the 1900kv. ??????

EFlite Power 60 and Avian 80amp ESC, very over powered 😁🤣

@@hanamichizakuragi5021 I have no idea, The Power 60 is a 20cc equivalent however and I doubt the V1200 is anywhere near that,

Check my latest videos of it in just the past week. The 26 is a great engine for this plane. A 30 or 35 would be even more awesome and I usually way overpower my planes but I’m happy with the 26 so far.

Eflite Power32, I think 12x6 prop but don't remember, 4000 4s battery, and an AR636 receiver for the gyro, Only balsa plane I have with a gyro but it really does help this plane fly even better.
