How to Relieve Pressure To Your Attachments Before Disconnecting Your Hoses
Good job JJ
Thank you for watching! Thank you for the compliment.
Thank you Sir. Very good information.
do you know why my 270 won't go into H mode ?
If yours is this same style of machine (button layout is the same), then the machine has to have the engine off, but the key turned to the accessory position. I can't remember right off hand if you have to have the left joystick/armrest down and lap bar down or not, but i don't think you have to. You can't switch it with the engine running. Let me know if that works. Thank you for watching and for commenting!
@weldcojcb same style tried everything as stated, wont switch..appreciate your response
@@sonofsteve566 Is the h-pattern button illuminated just like the iso button or is it dark?
I 3d printed a detent so my box blade would stay on the ground. My 1974 MF14 had one.
That's pretty cool, thank you for watching and commenting!
On the front end loader what are the two parts that are lynchpined in that rotate down?
Those are the kickstands for when you take the loader off of the tractor. Please see our other video that goes into specific step-by-step detail on how to remove the loader.
@ THANK YOU for your prompt response. I will watch it now.
How to reverse flow for attachments
Do the deck lift arms stay up when you remove the deck? Concerned about them hanging up if when working with the 3 point.
You'll want to raise them all the way up with the 3-point lever on the right side of the seat that raises and lowers your 3-point, this will also raise and lower the belly mower. When you have the arms all the way up (after you've removed the belly mower), you'll turn the knob that adjusts your belly mower deck height. The knob is shown at: 9:08 of this video. Turn the knob to the "lock" position and then the arms will stay where you have them set regardless of what you do with the 3point. Hard to explain via text, but hopefully that makes sense.
Thank you!!
Bought my GC1725M brand new in 2020. Front hood latch got replaced with 2021 system as the 2020 plastic one kept breaking, so dealer installed the metal frame under the dash like 2021 and later models have. I got little over 800 hours on it now, overall it's a decent tractor although there are some issues with it... If you get the TLB model, the seat is awful, very uncomfortable. Loader is pretty weak too so you can't pick up too much weight at all, and I don't believe it has free float mode on rear 3 Point Hitch. But overall I am happy with it would I buy this model again, hard to say, my dealer is close by and they have a reputation as one of the best and I'd have to agree, always very helpful and willing to assist, same can't be said about local JD dealership and nearest Kubota is about 1 hour drive away. Drive over mower deck is pretty nice and reliable, Woods rototiller is also fairly nice. I'd rate it at 7.5☆ out of 10
When I take the backhoe off it looses pressure and I can't get it back on tractor. What do you do in this situation?
hook the hoses back up and you'll have pressure again
The one thing that I have been searching for and you skipped it the knob that controls the up and down speed of the 3-point hitch right up above it on the right there's a lever that points up and down what the heck is that thing I cannot figure it out
I apologize that I didn't see your comment until now. If you're talking about directly under the loader joystick, that is the loader joystick lock. It will do just that, lock the loader joystick.
Great video
Spring for a cameraman. Good video but poor camera work is distracting.
Sorry it wasn't up to your standards, i'll do better next time.
Great video guys. You make the PTO connection look easy, 1st time I tried to hook mine up it took 20 minutes- didn't want to latch. Flipping the tie down bracket and how to adjust that section was super helpful!
We've had lots of practice. Making sure your mid mount pto is in neutral is key, then you can spin the pto by hand while you're under there to get the splines to match up. Thank you for watching and commenting!
The backhoe seat sucks. Someone should redesign it.
4 wheel drive?
yes
Anyway to get more power to the backhoe
no, some people think pulling on the levers will create more power, and then they'll come in with bent levers. It's a valve, once it's open, there's nothing pulling harder on the lever will do. You could always go up in tractor and backhoe size.
This was really helpful. Maybe reshoot with someone holding the camera. Just sayin. Thanks
I cant engage the rear PTO at idle. It's a very harsh engagement and kills the engine. I have to bump the RPMs up to around 1600-1700 to keep the engine from being choked out. Its still a very hard engagement but the tractor stays running. Anyone else have this issue?
Where can I get one of the pressure relievers?
Thanks for the comment, what model do you have?
@@weldcojcb it would be for a JCB 505-20 telehandler
@@jberkos1 i believe on those you are just going to push the hose further "into" the machine before you pull out and that should bleed off the pressure, does that make sense?
@@weldcojcb hmm kinda. I’ve never tried that. But I know it’s a nightmare trying to get attachments back onto that machine. But I’ll give it a try and let you know what happens.
@@jberkos1 That should work for you
Watched a lot of these lately. This is the most informative that I’ve ever seen! Nice job!! Thanks

The whole purpose of making a video is to show-and-tell. When the audio is pure garbage, there is no point in uploading it.
That's why we made a new version. Feel free to find it on our channel. Thanks for watching and commenting

Just getting used to my 2023,and it's important to be careful. Learning how to use the new tractor only makes sense.
Thank you for the comment and for watching!
Definitely. More information the better
I am looking at a new leftover 2022 and am wondering if there is any difference between it and a 2024. Does the year affect resale value as on a car?
I apologize, i didn't see this comment come through. I'm sure you'll get a better deal on the 2022, but year doesn't matter as much as hours on tractors. No changes from 2022 to 2024 models.
Thank you - very helpful
If only every instructional video were this good. Bravo.
Great video! Thank you for making it.
Would be nice if massy created 2 couplers for hydraulic hoses when backhoe is removed, to hold hoses up and out of the way.
Solid! Is there a way to get a 216t into a float mode?
Can you do one for the newest 2024 TeleSkid with Factory Backup camera and no analog gauges>
2 Steps ahead of you. Check our other videos and you'll see it. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Grease!!!!!!
at exactly 4:14 anything can happen and your hand does not look safe at all ! ...... I will never, never do that ! I am sorry, don 't get me wrong.
The loader is sitting on parking stands, so short of an earthquake, his hands are fine there. Thank you for watching and commenting.
I believe it is very unsafe procedure .........
why is that?
Please go see a doctor and get that breathing looked at.
Hi, just bought a 2017 teleskid with a beacon light on roof. It plugs into a socket at edge of roof near upper front corner of the door. Can't figure out how to turn it on!???
I'm trying to remember, is it tied into the front lights? I don't have one of this model here currently to try.
Very helpful but I should have entered the 1835e. Oops
You got a part number for that left joystick for that machine
Great tractor bud I'm looking to buy a 1735 wondering if you have any info. On the 1735 thanks Rick
Sorry, somehow missed this comment coming through. The 1735 and 1740 have been replaced with an 1835E or 1835M and 1840E or 1840M. Where are you located?
Baaaaa haaaa looks gay as f 😂
I reckon there two-week mind twisted
not sure what you are trying to say, but thanks for commenting!
Nice job.
Very good could you do one on the computer screen? Tks
We have one on that model as well, thank you for watching and commenting. Just go to our channel and you'll find it there.
will the jcb go into float mode with loader in the air and down pressure applied?
Yes it will
You have great tutorials. You should get better audio though.
Great video! Audio not good.
Great video, I’m glad you explain about engaging the PTO first and then revving up the RPM. I’m hoping to get the 1725 next year
Thank you for watching and commenting, i hope you get to purchase a new Massey soon!
I'm sitting in a Tele lift now and the grey switch on the joy stick tilts forks. Right stick extends boom out left stick brings it in.
What model are you in? What year?
Great video. Very helpful
