About: I'm originally from Sweden but have lived in the United Kingdom since 2005. I have been using my allotment and became an allotmenteer in 2018 and love to share everything I have learned about growing my own produce and seasonal food and general organic gardening with you, my green fingered friends! My Oxfordshire, UK, village allotment is managed using the Charles Dowding no dig or no till method of cultivation and is a beautiful vegetable patch☝️ I am a scientist IRL and have no formal horticultural education, just a bunch of enthusiasm and several years of experience growing my own food all year round 😁 Let me know if you have any questions and video suggestions, and i will try my best to help you out 👍

What a waste of TH-cam space Answer your followers questions ...SHMMM
👍😁 good job
Very long growing season
Is this october in the northern hemisphere or southern hemisphere?
Does the aminopyralid break dawn from your soil after 4 years ? This happen for me this week.
I heard that pop corn has a bit of water injected into each kernel....and that what makes it popping corn.
Help please... How long does it take from planting to germination? I planted garlic in October (autumn varieties) and there is still nothing to see :-(
Looks beautiful! What tomatoe variety is this? Id like ro Google os by name to find seeds for it.
They thick thick lol
This isn't the vegan teacher ... is it?
Hi there Hanna, just stumbled upon your channel and love it. Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna give this a try. Love from Holland.
Bel video. Ma hai fatto la raccolta prima fosse completamente maturo. Il gambo deve essere giallo
Miss you Hannah. Hope all is well. 💜🦋
I completely agree. The flavor is not there. It’s also now October and they are just barely starting to ripen. I’ve had several people in my family try them and they responded the same saying they were just “okay”. But they do look pretty. 😊
Cool song for the introduction 🌽thanks for sharing
beautiful like you
Lovely video.
These things take like over 200 days to grow?
Hi, newbie question, does it have to be 2 different plants? Or can i use a flower if theres 2 or more on the same plant?
Where these store purchased garlic heads
This is way too underrated 😂
Love the music.
Does anyone know if glass gem kernels start with their color or start out white?
What type of soil are you using for the garlic to grow?? Are you also using rice husk at the top of soil?
Want some seeds
Excellent sharing
Borax powder will fix your ant problem.
Music SUPER loud and annoying
Love the HoryHory tool! My fav. Forgive spelling
I hate it😢
Trying to share this out on Facebook. Gardening organically for 40 years. I have done grafting and hybridization as well as standard gardening- flowers, herbs, veg. I thought a new, horrible virus or fungus hit. Lowest germination rates I have ever seen, completely stunted growth in annuals, flowering but no fruit on everything. Barely got one cuke out of 10 plants, curling, twisted leaves and stems. Filled containers and top dressed with Earthgrow composted manure, Walmart, Black Kow, Lowes, and container planting soil I can't recall the name of now. The Earthgrow seems to be the biggest culprit. I'll be planting winter rye in all of it and burning it next spring.
why are you peeling so early.
I dint know that it takes that long to grow garlic
Where are you? 😞
Are the larvae cause or effect of the decomp?
ye s
She peeled that thing like she was looking for her lost car keys! They don't need to look pretty fresh out of the ground, let them dry and cure first they'll store for a lot longer. And, cut the roots after they've dried.
Thanks for the advice. That’s what I did but then I saw this video and I got confused. I almost went outside to peel my garlic. 😂
They are gorgeous, well done.
Awesome.
Your poppies and squash look great. I have California poppies growing this year too. They were the first thing I planted. Next year I’m going to grow a bed of poppies mixed with herbs and see how they do. Do you fertilize?
What a healthy well cared for plant, well done to you being a good plant steward ^_^
Find you can use the roots and green stems in a nice garlic chicken pasta.
How can you reuse the corns as new seeds. Do you have to wait extra time till they dry or do you have to keep buying new ones
the garlic becomes onion😊
Thats a beauty. I love the bitterness too.
I thought you had to leave the outside of the garlic alone until it's cured? I have never successfully grown garlic. I mess it up and rot the bulbs. Is it okay to peel the first layer when you pull it up? That's a genuine question; I'm not trying to act like I know anything... because I can't even get it to grow.
Your peas in the uk are ready already?
Is the drying step important?
Since the channel owner hasn't answered yet..... I'll jump in. Yes, it is important. It helps the "skin layers" dry and not mold, helping it be able to store longer.
Can you eat the green part like you do bluelake?
