I appreciate your comment but disagree that Andor is under-appreciated. Everyone loves Andor, which is why we're getting a second season next year.

That doesn't excuse these problems still being present in the movie...The filmmakers were fully adults and had the option to fix these problems. It's not like the adaptation was totally faithful anyhow, as you yourself point out Also it's kind of weird that you start your comment by pointing out that the books were written by a child, and have issues as a result of that....and then you proceed to praise the books for having so much more depth and consistency than the movie. Is the story in the books better, or worse than in the movie?? Lol

@@NEWTGRUNDY I recommend them if you enjoy a nice classic fantasy with good worldbuilding and awesome dragons. It doesn't bring much new to the table, but Paolini's execution is fresh enough to keep things interesting in my opinion. It's one of those book series that gets better with later additions. Looking back on the first book, the authors age and inexperience is undeniable, though I maintain it is still a good book. It becomes obvious with later addition that Paolini is a master of adding depth. I cannot understate how good Paolini is at filling out the cracks he left in the first book.

​@@meganlee4209 The book having issues does not impact my enjoyment of it. It would however feel dishonest to not admit to it's faults, even when I think it is overall a great story. As I mention the book series gets better as the author gains experience and many of the issues in Eragon are not present or are fixed in future entries, which just speaks of Paolini's talent. Also, the movie is indeed more flawed than the books in my opinion. I will not try to defend it. The movie made many unfortunate decisions.

Yes that's the defining feature of pauper. It is common's only. You check to see if a card is pauper legal at Scryfall.com :)

to be clear. A card is pauper legal if it was printed at common rarity at any point in time. If Thraben Inspector is reprinted in the newest set as an uncommon, it remains pauper legal because it was at one time printed as a common.

I'd say dragons still viable tho stirring bard was a massive loss. Fingers crossed for a good four drop in the future.

Commander is def my second fave. If you're not adverse to MTGO that's a great way to get a taste of pauper. The cheapness is out of control. You can make a meta deck for $5 and a budget build for $1 or less. Paper or online it truly is an affordable format so give it a try! :)

lot of crossover between pauper and edh players. For me it's the brew potential.

@@Mattatamus that's some classic old school magic there. I gotta morph flippin deck in pauper I call mighty morphin esper rangers lol. it blinks poneyback brigade and uses snap shenninigans with the bounce lands. You can try so many different things in pauper. it's great

aww thank you. My good friend Tanner and I run a small indie record label (RecordsRecordings). All the artists so far that we serve are ourselves and our close friends. I play music from the label because it gives us exposure and I find it more interesting than loyalty free playlist on youtube. I'd also love to play any recommended music given it's by the people who own the music so I don't get DMCA'd. The labels through line is experimental but it's not all so noisey. There's some folky stuff, hip-hop, dance music, ect. If you've found it destracting tho I get that, it destracts me too lol. Thanks for your feedback :)
