'can't trick me into reading' lol
I have really enjoyed your videos and commentary on this game. Thanks for the content sir
@@c_richa of course, thanks for watching. I’ve had a blast making them.
liking the videos man! .... looked like there was a bag inside the wedding ring. Keep it up
@@bdunne87 thanks that means a lot. I’ll go back and check it out. Thanks for looking out.
The statues/figurines are linked to the Rascal Rogue mutation, there are 7 in total
Oh nice, that’s good to know. I’ll keep my eyes out for them. Thanks for the info.
Do you still want to start a multiplayer?
@OliverHerbert-n4h my bad, I’m down but it will have to be in the future. I’m still getting the hang of this posting stuff. Hit me up in a few months when I’m more established. I would like to try out multiplayer.
Thats awesome man well done
@@AndrewStones-c6r thank you so much
@CapnZapGaming is it done on console or pc? If console then that's tedious work so double points
Antlion greatsword can carry you pretty far in the game. Definitely worth using as a main weapon! Killing antlions will be much easier
Awesome, thank you. Should I infuse it with candy?
@@CapnZapGaming honestly I'm not sure. My friend and I are playing it for the first time right now. i think it would be smart to add one of the candy effects to it, just not sure which one. I've read that people will designate certain weapons to certain groups of bugs.
I sometimes just shoot for making a “main” weapon for a bit of the game. and I choose the mighty route for it. Some bugs have resistances to certain candy effects, so your go-to weapon won’t do as much as it could to those enemies that are resistant to your weapons candy effect, but preying on weaknesses is pretty rewarding too.
@ good point, mighty it is. Maybe I’ll just make candy flavored arrows instead…
why not put triangles on your center square and then you could have 8 different stem floor directions coming from the center square of the tree instead of haveing hte stem floor under the floor to create a 45 angle
@@xZKrYpTiK that’s a great idea, I like where your head is at. The games doesn’t allow you to rotate floors at any angle other than 90. Stairs and roof pieces are the same way.
Fence post is awesome, that’s where my base is on my shared world. Loved the video as well, already improving from the first one :)
Thank you so much
How the hell do you get that many stems, ffs, thats just pure insanty
@@GoblinArmyInYourWalls it was a grind for sure lol. I only harvested stems along the pond by the fence posts so it took extra long.
@CapnZapGaming what was your strategy for acquiring the stems? Did you go out with one pallette and some red ant gear for haul strength? Like 30 to 50 at a time? Or was it moving several pallette at a time? The stage of the game I'm in i can move 94 stems in one trip (large pallette + carry 34). So if I make 20 trips I'd be close to 1800 stems. Im just trying to figure out a strategy since it seemed like you gathered 6k with fewer upgrades than me in about a weeks worth of gaming
@@ddmm9099 one pallet plus red ant armor. I built a warehouse with 4 floors and filled it with empty pallets then every time the stems would grow back I'd cut them down until the warehouse was full. I blew through that on the elevator alone (1,500 weed stems)
You know what else is massive
lol what’s that
LOWWWW TAPERR FADEEEEE
@OliverHerbert-n4h lol
how’d you mesh into the tree like that?
@@johnie5296 check out the last video before this one. I built up high enough on the tree that it doesn’t have collision. So you can just walk through it.
It looks so beautiful
Thank you so much
Can we play?
Letsplay
@@CapnZapGaming bet
The "balls" are the best base to use to make healing smoothies. They regenerate adter 3 in game days.
How close is your base to the pond lab? You go back and harvest them? That’s not a bad idea I’ve been growing them but only like 12 every few days
@CapnZapGaming I built on top of a lily pad lpl
@@paigesmith9199 have you been raided yet? Can the koi fish wreck stuff?
@CapnZapGaming koi fish doesn't bother anything and Yep. Been raided by orb weavers , larva and ants so far.
@@paigesmith9199 nice maybe I’ll build on the pond next.
HOW DID YOU MAKE THE LIFT??
The bounce web stacked behind the walls with just enough sticking through the wall that activates the bounce.
@@52cardsFacedown this.
FYI, the dice moves by charging a hit. Clubs work best. Also there's an upgrade later that let's you zip both ways. Don't fret the positioning.
Oh nice thanks, I just threw the ant club at it in the next video until it flipped lol. Woah you can zip in both directions that’s so much more convenient. Thanks for the tip.
Found this one after seeing your second video. I will be utilizing this heavily to do my own build. I appreciate the details you left in to help us build with you. This is an amazing build and you've cut a lot of the headache out for your viewers. Thanks for sharing. Ps. Do you make your ropes with a fuck ton of grinders + spinners?
Thank you for your kind words. I can’t wait to see your build. Put it in the Reddit feed or drop a link here in the comments. To answer your question I grind grass leaves and spin rope constantly lol.
Hey, great job. Would you be able to tell me how you made your bounce elevator? Also how tall/high did you go before building your first module? I'd like to build a similar project and I'd really like to save myself the agony of having started to close to the ground.
@@ddmm9099 in part 1 I talk about all that stuff, the elevator is just a bounce web and 3 walls high then another bounce web. 42 stories tall all together starting on the mushrooms (the only anchor points on the tree). Start gathering weed stems now lol I burned through like 5K weed stems lol.
looks good man. crazy how much of a grind building in this game is. thanks!
@@c_richa thank you very much, the grind is real lol
Does it work with the stronger spike traps so they last longer?
@@johnnydarren95 no clue, I haven’t unlocked them yet. I’ll let you know.
This is awesome! Quick question though - How frequently would these traps need repairs? If I remember, 5-6 aphids managed to almost take out the trap when I tried an rudimentary aphid food trap.
So it kills about 25 gnats every other night and I’ll hop up there for a repair maybe every 4 nights. Sometimes they’re broken but what can you do…
@@CapnZapGaming Thanks! That's not bad at all once you have ziplines set up to move around. You have my sub for this awesome design!
@@shivcharan5700thank you, more to come… lol
Your my favorite you tube
Thank you, I’m getting better lol.
I got an idea for episode 4, maybe you could spend the entire episode talking about fixing the stairs and then never do it lol. Love the content, keep it up
@@montaguesreview new episode will have some sick stairs lol

@@popothead thanks boss
Don't forget to post every day I learned that the hard way. Post everyday and post shorts
@@embernodebeef awesome, thank you this was just a test but I’ll be posting daily soon.
If you’re trying to do this full time then maybe push that much content, but it’s also okay to take it at your own pace, especially as you’re starting out. Dont want you to burn out ;) love the video!
@ thank you, it would be nice to do this full time but I’m still doing small jobs as a contractor and looking to go back to school. I would like to do at least one a day but that seems unrealistic at this point. Thanks again for your kind words
