good bhai
Thanks bro!, appreciate it.
Nice camera setup. Nice flight too with this built from crate model airplane
Thanks buddy. Really appreciate it.
That's my Jaan❤
@lorriekhan1072 thanks my love
That battery is like 2 seconds away from exploding. Get it away from your car and from people!
The battery was secured in the lipo fire proof bag, stayed secured, didn't explode as you said, I'm extremely careful and it was then properly handled over to the hobby shop they recycled it safely.
@@ModyKhan The severe damage to the battery could have cause it to leak and blow at any time. You put it on the pickup truck to assess the damage. And you were right in front of it with your buddy. You should lookup LIPO fires and see just how quick and violent these fires can happen. I throw mine out as soon as they get dented let alone badly damaged.
GoPro it is 😊
Go pro?😅
Hey! As old and rusty rc pilot and student CFI, I would say that there is no chance to land that plane power off, or better, doing a power off approach… that is why he had those *crash* landings (all of them)… if you go idle, those type of planes, wings, etc. will fall as a rock! I suggest to climb to a safe altitude and practice level slow flight level, descending in slow flight at slow rate, learn the power settings before even trying to do a touch and go. also align the plane to the extended rwy center line before descending… those were completely unstable approaches Always think that you are the pilot and passenger of a real plane and try to don’t break spines or killing anyone onboard I’m not trying to be an @#$, I just don’t want to see dead passengers 😊 or broken planes. Blue skies
Good advice amigo! yes, that is my friend who was flying. We all learn and the process never stops in life as this is the philosophy of success to KEEP LEARNING. That's how we roll and this is what we do. Thanks for the comment!
im so sorry for you're loss for person that only owns the Micro Draco, UMX Timber, and E-flite F86, something like this is my dream jet, and the price on it expensive but a crash like that would destroy me, hope you're doing alright man
Areospire, Huge thanks man, I totally understand it. When you get into a hobby like that, you're willing to take the risks of losing beautiful birds like that. I have been flying for over 20+ years, EDF jets are my first experience. I know what you mean by dream planes. Many years ago, when Hitec Aurora 9 first came out, I waited for 2 years to have enough money to buy it and when it was delivered, my eyes had tears. Nothing is impossible and my best wishes for you to get your dream jets. I've gotten me Habu just to still better my skills, though my maiden flight was not bad either. I am doing alright and again, this hobby has its risks. People lose thousands of dollars of turbine jet planes in one flight and I can't imagine how they feel.
I have both the big and the little eflight viper and the fms viper. with out seeing the crash. these specific jets ( the viper sport jets) are prone to accelerated stalls when in a slow dirty configuration in the landing pattern. I think thats why they call them vipers. cause they like to bite you when you least expect it.
You're right. I have an eye on E-Flite Viper 90mm, bigger the better and the safer but nothing can be guaranteed. I've decided that smallest you go is 80mm below that, no. FMS Viper though it's an awesome flying EDF, my maiden had been great with full rates on all surfaces but second flight and first of that day turned into a disaster which is next to impossible what transpired up there that caused it to take a straight nose dive and this baby disintegrated into pieces.
Sweet landing at the end. Let her slow down with full flaps or just no throttle and flaps with a steeper angle. Don´t force her to sit down, she does it by herself when she gets slow(er)... :D
Thanks for a great advice and comment. My friend owns this plane and he is getting better with the landing. It was on the rails for him as he describes and he's gonna get better with its landing.
Thanks for filming this flight my friend.
Anytime, this is what friends are for. Your flying has been awesome on the futura. Keep it up!
That's my husband flying❤
@@lorriekhan1072 thanks my love.
Have no idea of the stall characteristics of that plane... But... You need to find them before landing... Seems that it was a test flight but.. Not sure if when you put flaps, you reduced the power....
@loveplanes This plane glides pretty well, take a nose dive and then let it come to the runway, I however miscalculated the runway alignment. Otherwise approach was good but ended up being on the grass. It would have survived the tarmac, had it landed.
Nice, could you describe your Setup? Great flying skills, were you watching your Gs?
Thank you. This is not my plane nor am I flying. It is one of the pilots at our club. This is the maiden flight for the jet and it was quite impressive. All I know it has Swiwin turbine in it with 40 to 60lbs thrust.
It’s amazing how loud a small turbine is. Very cool! Subbed!
Very true. Some of these turbines have 80lbs thrust. Really amazing stuff.
good morning!that's top uploading~buddy~ 😍

BRO can I used flysky fs-i6x radio to fly nitro plane
hey man... great sound this engine..... pleas send me fuel set up abd max rpm... my mind used this asp 52 in Ripmax bullet clasic patern flying... Sir thank you respond Jan Novák Prague city Česká
Hello Jan, thank you for the comments. I do not know if you believe my answer or not, but the needle settings on higher rpm is done by listening to the sound of the motor. I used to turn 1 1/2 or 2 turns high end and listen to the sound. It's been years, I am out of glow engines,. I have been flying gas motors. However, lately I am out of the hobby temporarily. Again, my answer to you turn the needle and hear the sound, you will know when the motor reaches to the max. rpm and if you turn further, motor starts bogging down, so this is the point where you get to the highest rpm., I hope it answers your question.
Thanks. I sold out this plane frame. Yes battery pack for ignition is Nimh 4.8v
Hi, nice video ! What is the mAh of your battery for ignition ? Thank you
1500 mah. Sorry for the late response.
and what is the best prop for ths ?
+Wojciech PVB 11X6 to 12X6 depends you want more thrust or you want more speed? If you want more speed then you need to reduce the diameter and increase the pitch like 10X8 prop. It all depends upon your flying style. Also on which plane are you going to install this motor?
+Mody Khan thanks for infos ! this is my school project - I will install it on bicycle :) I have already order engine - but do not know - which kind of prop would be the best ?
what is the best method to break in ?
+Wojciech PVB All motors are broken in differently. Motors manufacturers pack in the break in instructions along with the motor. You can Google about break in. I usually use the smaller wooden prop for break in. It's been a while I am out of the hobby on the other hand, I have been using Gas motors. I have stopped using glow plug motors. I am into gas and they are easy to run and good on big planes. Follow the break in instructions of the manufacturer whose motor you are buying. However, you need to use smaller wooden prop to break in and run one or 3 tanks on the ground for 10 minutes, then stop it and let it cool off for 20 minutes then run it again. I used to run lean and then gradually top it to rich. After 3 or 4 tanks max, I will fly the plane, cos, it keeps breaking in while in flight and of course replace the prop.
what is fuel consumption of that engine ?
+Wojciech PVB Fuel consumption is excellent. You need to run it on the rich side. Do not run lean, which may damage the motor. A 12 to 15 OZ tank would give you a good 12 to 15 minutes flight, but you gotta keep the flying maximum 12 minutes and you do not want the plane to be a dead stick in the air.
good and cheap engine... simply the best.
+Fmf Triton Absolutely. This is really a good engine. It has enough power.
Trying to get mine started. Whats the best position for the carburetor to start and the .needle? Please help
Qual peso desse modelo?
+Felipe Brazilmcz I do not understand Spanish, but I am assuming you are asking which model is this. This is a Phoenix model MXS-R airplane. It is designed for speed. I am not for speed anyhow, I have sold out this plane, not the motor.
+Mody Khan okay man, i want know is kg size this airplane, thank you !
It was around 12 to 14 lbs which is around 5 to 6 kg
+Mody Khan ok i understand great plane, thank you man! :D
+Felipe Brazilmcz You're welcome. If you like fast flying plane, this is one for you. MXS-R Full-Scale is used in Red Bull Racing.
Hi, I have the same engine, recently bought, didn't started it yet. Is your spark plug cap with it's o ring spring go over the spark plug's nut (the part which you use to screw in/out the spark plug with a wrench) or it goes only until this part of the plug. Mine doesn't go over the nut of the plug no matter how much pressure I apply and it can't go because in the interior it reaches the end of the cap. It doesn't take much force to take it out that's what scares me, but it makes the spark. I will probably wire it to the holes it the cylinder's fins not to drop out during operation.
+Seneslau07 To all of those who posted the notes, truly sorry for the late reply. I have not seen my channel for years, and I have been out of the hobby temporarily for almost two years. It is mounted on my Yak 54. It runs pretty good. I do not think the spark plug cap has o-ring in it. It has a spring that covers over the spark plug. Not sure to be exact if it has an O ring in it. I used the wrench to screw it tight and for taking it off as well. One part I did not understand was "what makes the spark"? the spark plug sparks or something else?
topgunreed. Man I don't know what the shit is going on with youtube, I don't get to see much more messages. XYZ 20 is running pretty good. I noticed that it gives you good punch with wooden prop, and it runs not bad with APC. You gotta be pretty easy with the LSN and HSN. once you get the right RPM, you'd know it by the sound of it. LSN can be tricky and gotta tweak it easy.
hey how did that xyz end up running for you because i have the same engine and i,am having problem,s with getting it to drop to a low idel speed and i have to keep adjusting the low end needel
Go ahead , throw it away. Some of my favorite engines came out of the trash. Where do you live?
It would be nice if they gave you some factory needle settings to start with so you can go back and start over after you messed with the needles a bunch and it won't start now. I'm about to throw mine in the trash and go buy an OS like I always do.
Thank you for your reply. I was running this motor in Strega 40 from Phoenix model. I don't remember if I had dead stick on it. It's been few months actually, I have completely kissed glow motors goodbye. I'm only flying gas motors now. I have recently bought XYZ 20cc and RCG20. Bigger planes fly better. Gasoline not much clean up after flight. Thanks for your comments & sharing your experience, those who're gonna watch this video would learn a lot. ASP's are not doubt a true powerhouse.
Asp 52 main needle setting has settled at a tad over 1 turn open . This engine is a huge improvement on the asp,s of old .. lot,s of touch and goes and has never coughed or cut out once.. Brilliant value for money. Not a lot noisier than an electric on running in rpm and over 40 minutes flying stooging around playing silly sods. Thoroughly enjoyable experience 68 year old heli pilot.
Main needle 2 turns open, start the engine and adust the idle fuel setting .. Pinch the fuel line and check for a slight rise in idle rpm . My asp 52 was run in in the Wot 4. hold model at 45 degrees and turn in the main needle to peak rpm then open a touch . .Put Wot 4 on the ground and open the throttle to around a 1/4 and away you go .. No more than 1/2 throttle for at least 2 litres of low nitro fuel. Final fuel mixture settings can be done after the first gallon of fuel has gone .
Sorry to hear that. Check out for air-leakage in the tank, or the fuel line to the carb. Look into your carb low speed needle settings. Nitro engines two stroke are so easy to tweak and adjust. If you can do it, take the carb off the motor & clean it well. Make sure there are no leakage in the fuel line. Make sure idle is set, it's not a bad motor, I have not seen anyone having issues with it. I have kissed glow goodbye & flying gas planes. Bigger are better. If you need anything else lemme know
I hate mine 6 dead sticks in a row on Mustang PTS...it's going back to HH today.
Thanks Mats for nice words. This Yak 54 120 I purchased from nitroplanes. I've not seen Seagull's Yak, but Seagull has way better quality than nitroplanes. I wish to purchase Seagull Sea Fury. It didn't come with prr-drilled holes. I used same beam mount on it. Exact degrees I don't know but it's inverted & it not centered as well. Motor was mounted by my mentor on right hand side, which balances out the thrust from going plane to left or right direction, it has something to do with thrust.
Walaikum Assalam, This is not my plane, it's our club member's plane who was flying it and I was recording it on my cell phone. I'm originally from Pakistan and living in USA
Hey Frank, I replaced the TT .46 with ASP .52 two stroke one. ASP is a screamer and it really made a lot of difference and plane flew pretty well. I gotta say man, Today I've sold out my plane & the buy bought it right away. I'm going up to Big gassers plane now, cos I'm tired of small planes, when the wind is 12mph, 40 size planes can take a quick slam dunk to the ground. As far as 60 size motor is concerned, it may work, but I'd recommend a .55 size would be good. Bigger planes are more stable
you should check out the vids of mine heh heh
love mine with a thunder tiger .46 2 cycle and a 10x8 prop it rips trough the air like a screamin banshee and climbs superbly but of course i want to go with a .61 with maybe a 10x10 11x10 or some crazy shit to see how fast i can make it heh heh
Nicholas. backplate 4 screws are tight, that, carburetor is clean, no gunk in the engine, fuel lines are not leaked, not sucking air, fuel tank is on the right position. I tell you I experienced worst with TT .46 Pro where as it's a great power house, but it put me down on my knees, all those things I checked & kept finding something new. Don't give up, once you start looking at it keenly & deeply, you'd start finding problems & solutions, Trust me. If you still need further help let me know.:)
@MrNICHOLASSTONE Factory settings are piece of shit. I know that there is a stopper which is like sticking out of the needle, you need to remove it, once you remove it, then you'd be able to tune it just like any other 2 stroke engine. The stopper which sticks out is pre-installed that prevents you to do the hi speed needle tweaking.. Once it's removed then you'd be able to tweak it to rich. I'm sure you run it rich not lean. This engine aint complicated. Make sure all head screws, back plate
Jeffie, I recognized you. Well I'd certainly have the ear for it and I'd fly rich and as I have told you I gotta wait to get a plane and before that gotta break it in :P
