What is that bit called you use to countersink?
What I'm wondering is when it comes to custom dimensions. If you have the main mold set to a certain spec, then how does having custom spec'd shapers matter? Will the shapers further press the wood to the custom dimensions they are spec'd too? And the main mold is more just a general board to work from?

Could you use a router to cut the board with the shaper? Just using one side of the shaper to hold the board down?
I am about to purchase one lol sick of these cheap 3d decks with no pins or big enough holes drilled. Just cant figure out the dimensions I want considering it's a decent investment and Im low on money like all of us. I have what I think what I want, written down. I'm just afraid the concave length or height and the tail/nose angle and lengths

does the new beginner kit have the outline inside the mold (not something I would want)? i bought a custom shape mold about two years ago and wanted to try a new configuration since I didn't like the one i configured then :)

Too expensive... If you have a friend with a 3d printer...
... and a friend who can design a good board in 3D... and another friend who has a CNC or metal laser to make metal-stiffness-plates.... and one who can do a 3d-online-configurator to see how your board will look like... and a friend who knows which industrial grade plastic you should use for your mold... And another one who knows what the best glue and veneer for a fingerboard is... Greetings to your friends ;) Cheers Dennis

when sanding the sides of the deck, does the deck holder/shaper get messed up???
Hi, this depends on how hard you are using the shaper. The best way is to use the shaper for drawing the outline and then cut pretty close to the line. so at the end you are sanding just the last mm when the board is in the shaper. :) Some customers use the shaper for 100 of boards... and they can be ordered afterwards at any time (in case it gets damaged over time) Cheers Dennis

do you need to countersink on the back side???
Usually you don’t need a countersink on the backside. Just sanding is enough. But if you prefer you can add that :)
@@CreateYourSkate at 6:23 it seems like there in a small line already on the board is there any way for that not to be there so you can make custom shape and sizes?
@@ethan._buii this line has been removed a year ago to give the opportunity to make differentiation board shapes. We have also different shapers styles in the shop which matches the BeginnerMold :)

After ordering one of these molds the only feature I would like to see added is the ability to add concave to the nose and tail.

Hey i love u guys and im a big fan but I have one question, I saw that on your guy’s site there was no out line on the mold so is it something u changed or I can’t see it .
Hi, that is correct. the outline has been deleted on the newest version of all of our Molds and there is a good reason for. EVERY kit comes now with a Shaper. And you can draw the outline much better with this shaper. AND the best, since the mold has no outline any more, you can use that mold with a loooot of different shapers. We have now a bunch of new shapers like boxy or old school or different widths. What is the widest board we can make?
the widest board could be 50 mm :)
what's the deck size I really wanna make one but I ride 34mm by 96 mm
Hi Markus, you could also make a 34mm by 96 mm board by ordering an additional shaper for your mold: www.createyourskate.com . You could also design your complete own board in every measurement by using our 3D-Configurator: www.fingerboard-molds-configurator.com . how long should I keep it in the mold?
i recommend to let it cure for 24hours. Once you are familiar with the process and the right amount of glue, you could decrease that down to 12hours or less. But please get used to the process first and see some good results before yo decrease curing time :) Cheers

How long does it take to ship to cambodia or within asia

What size bit for countersink?
we recommend to use a 3mm drill bit for the countersinks. we also sell a really good drilling tool with bits on the website www.createyourskate.com :)
