One of my favorite things about this movie is how brutal Jake is with his cut down of Rango for being a phony, just to immediately flip that once Rango defeats, him, the evil mayor, and saves the town all with one bullet. Jake’s a legend, and he respects other legends. It’s the exact same sort of character old westerns had, where a villain might help the sheriff just because he feels like it, it’s the exact sort of double cross an old western like the ones my grandpa loved used to have, the real villain is defeated, and both cowboys on either side of the badge get to walk away, to keep being legends.

I gotta say the Combaticons are my favorite characters in this besides Optimus Prime and Megatron. They are not only loyal and capable, they're also coordinated and work so well as a crew together. They're so good, they can question Megatron and their inquiry is respected and not dismissed by Megatron. That's how capable they were. They think of the objective and the team. They're willing to go against the fill in leader to ensure success. They're bad ass looking, sounding, etc
