Jesus in Every Neighborhood: When Love Gets Messy (AI Generated Conversation)
มุมมอง 3114 วันที่ผ่านมา
In 2023, Pastor Curtis Lillie preached a three-part series of vision-casting sermons called "Jesus in Every Neighborhood." We took the text of those three sermons, put them into an AI tool called NotebookLM, and generated this conversation between two people. Imperfect, this "conversation" is a fantastic introduction to our Church's mission. The three sermons considered the theological underpin...

I thought Israel was God’s ppl!! Where is God and his Protection for his people???
Now I see it! I have never seen this before (like so many other things). 🙂
This is great! 🙂
Thank you, Alle, for reminding me of all of this. I needed to hear this. ❤
I just listened to this for the 2nd time & it warmed my soul. 😊
This message is so inspiring. Anyone who has not yet heard this should listen to it. This was my 2nd time. 🙂
I am feeling better about this last section of Deuteronomy now! 🙂
Thanks Curtis! This was a very good explanation.
Thanks Curtis! This was a very good explanation.
Just what I needed tonight!
Wow you guys are really nailing it! Thanks for the stimulating, engaging discussion. Praise God!
Great discussion guys...I really like the format and perspectives.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for this relevant message, Curtis.
Great message and delivery, Pastor Curtis.
Thanks Steve!!
Great Message
Thank you, David, for delivering such an important message today.
Great message and delivery - especially appropriate this year. It reminds me to store up treasure in heaven.
Thank you for teaching us discernment in our intentions, our desire, and the instruction of how to approach our seemingly good thoughts with the eyes that seek not our own wisdom, but one that inquires God's wisdom and desire.
Thanks! I think there are a lot of implications for this... I can think of a number of places where people hurt or offend someone else and when confronted say, "Well, I didn't mean to offend you," or "I didn't intend to hurt you." And by appealing to motives and intentions, we often fail to recognize that we caused someone real pain or offense. If you hit someone with your car because you're texting, you still hit them, even if you didn't mean to.
Perfect message and timing, delivered beautifully.
No one says, "What would Haman do?"

Be set free from your hamanity. --Tom Epperly
Haha! Nope... we just do what Haman would do. Like it's our nature or something... ;)
@@thebrightlywoven Tom: "Hamanity" just doesn't roll off the tongue the way haman-ness does. Also, I had to fight my autocorrect just to write it once.
Great stuff Curtis!!
Sammy! Thanks for checking it out, man! Hope you and your church are doing okay during this time.
Great message and delivery Curtis, Wisdom and Truth never get boring. I appreciate you being gentle with us.
I forgot to mention in the sermon that the idea that Leviticus 25 traces a hypothetical figure's downward spiral into destitution is from Jacob Milgrom's commentary on Leviticus. It's from the Continental Commentary.
