Freediving from the kayak in New Zealand’s Far North is always an adventure. I spent some time exploring stunning remote reefs, paddling through glassy conditions, and diving into clear blue waters in search of crayfish. Along the way, I had some incredible encounters, from huge schools of fish to some beautiful underwater terrain. After hours in the water, I managed to land a couple of nice crays-tough work but well worth it!
