@@Mikewriter68 hey, film is subjective so what may not be better for you can certainly still be better for others and vice versa. That’s what makes the film community awesome. Even though we can disagree we can come together and appreciate each movie for what it is. But yes I complete agree that while the second film is better than the third, Christopher Lloyd definitely kept the third film afloat.

@@neophyte_reviews BTTF 2 is a great, great movie. Terrific sequel, one of the best of all time. But it does not have a scene like George kissing Lorraine & saving Marty & his family during Earth Angel. That was iconic & special.

@@MaxP_88 thanks for pointing this out. I was not aware of the deleted scene or that the creators had confirmed certain details about the film. What I was referring to about the alternate timelines is when Marty ends up in the alternate 1985. I more so meant that Doc Brown actually made a reference to it and that’s why it felt more so concrete that this introduced alternate timelines. The previous film of course had the changes occur which would be alternate.

@@MaxP_88 I can absolutely agree with you on the points you’ve made. I simply enjoyed this one more, because of the time traveling aspects. That’s what makes film subjective though. Everyone will not like and enjoy every movie the same way but it’s honestly what I appreciate them.

@@sprittel I completely agree! This film was very well done. I gave it a 4.5 as I didn’t want to jump the gun and give it a 5 out of 5 right especially since I haven’t yet seen the others and wanted to leave for the others in the case that they top this one. I did watch part 2 last night and I truly loved it and think that will last definitely be getting a 5 out of 5. But going back to this film, I wouldn’t argue giving it a 5 out of 5. It is also very much deserving of it

I hear you out and can see why you feel the film is disjointed and didn’t know where to land. In regards to Glen Powell and his vanity, unfortunately, I can’t say that it played a factor in the choices and decisions made for this film as I don’t know him but once again I can see why you feel that way, and respect your opinion and decision to no longer want to any more of his movies. At the end of the day, actors are in the business to make money and their livelihood. With that being said, I appreciate your comment and thank you for taking the time to listen to my review :)

Furiosa definitely helps fill in all the gaps and is a well told story. I am so glad I’m not the only one that hates the fact that Fury Road doesn’t give info. Hope you enjoy your Furiosa watch

Oh absolutely. I actually have a video for Days of Future Past if you’d like to check it out. It’s my favorite of all the Fox X-Men films. I agree with you credit should be given when it is due.

See I watched it and didn’t have a problem. I hear so many people complain about Dark Phoenix and say it’s worse than First Class. But how? At least they dedicated the whole movie to the storyline instead of making it about a third of the movie. We at least have the X-Men in space. The Phoenix Force is at least what it’s supposed to be. The D’bari being the villains doesn’t really make a lot of sense. I don’t know why Magneto was in this movie. Beast would never want to kill Jean. They still missed the part where Mastermind controlled her and taught the Phoenix the joys of being evil. Also they missed the inciting moment of making Jean seemingly completely gone. And they didn’t keep Jean alive to equate up to the future set up in DOFP. But with all of these problems I can still enjoy the movie. And I still don’t think this movie is as bad as Last Stand.

@@wheattoast1971 I saw the movie too. I liked it. But compared to other movies in the franchise, it doesn't have the repeat value. And I don't like how they screwed over the Professor. I still say Dark Phoenix is better than the worst movies in the MCU

@@wheattoast1971 I agree with you on various points and yes I agree and I’m so glad that they had the Phoenix force being out in space versus being part of Jean. I am glad you enjoyed the film even though others haven’t. Film like art is subjective and everyone will take from it what they will and appreciate or dislike it and that’s perfectly fine.

They absolutely do have the potential to do it correctly this time around. I would move away from all past film iterations and start with a fresh new cast. Though if they want them bring them back for small roles like Sir Patrick Stewart had in Multiverse of Madness I am ok with that.

You got it! Personally I don’t feel like they are. 1. This only the 3rd movie in their franchise. 2. It’s still enjoyable and not full of crap like many other franchises that pass their prime. 3. There’s still a story to tell and there is interest. So for now I think they are still good.
