I was lucky enough to see them in Redding the first time they came here and they quickly became one of my favorite bands ever. I'm pretty confident every time they've played in Redding I've been there haha.
Been looking everywhere for long-form interviews of this guy. It's so cool to hear Emmyn's story. The interviewer's face and voice completely changed when he realized Games We Play opened for his own band years ago. Very entertaining.
@@stargazer4293 glad you liked the interview. Small world, had no idea he opened for us until he said that. Very cool!
Well this is how I felt David Lynch passed...DAMN
@@aaronwood1133 such a bummer
Amazing podcast thank you so much for having him. I love his music so very much. He has helped me out so much when I needed it the most his music means so much to me like honestly.
@@RainBowGamerXP I’m glad you enjoyed it! Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel!
I saw Woe Is Me during their reunion show in Atlanta. Michael fist bumped me, took my phone and recorded the stage. Michael is such an awesome dude!
Rad!!! This was a lot of fun, great guest and fun conversation
Blast from the past, so great hearing the memories 😂
miss you bud! ❤❤❤
Great interview dude!!!! I love Sugarcult so much.
@@patrickstar6247 thanks so much! Lmk if you checkout any other episodes! Lots of great guests .
One of the most underrated bands out there these guys just never miss
@@dre1532 totally agree!
Hell yeah solid pod!
@@sullytx8120 thanks so much! Lmk if you give any other episodes a listen! Love the feedback
Alright imma be that guy! (first comment). Light Years fucking ROCKS! I've shouted their names since I discovered them on tumblr through property of zack. Way back when the Parking Lots music video came out. Been a diehard since (a variant of their EP Temporary is literally hanging on my wall). I totally understand Pat's sentiments about always wanting to be at that next level, how his band always had just enough to keep going, but they did the damn thing for years! One of my other favorite bands is The Swellers, who had a very similar story to Light Years. It's awesome at the end to hear that Light Years is demo'ing! No Pressure is obviously incredible, and what's funny is I had no idea they existed until last year. I saw Pat post about it and so I looked into it and was blown away. You can clearly hear the blink AND Light Years/Pat influence. I would have liked to hear a bit more about song meanings, or favorite songs to play or fav records Pat has done - like what'a his favorite Light Years record they've put out? etc. Overall great podcast and I'll be sure to check out more!
Thanks so much! Pat is a long time friend so I’ll keep this in mind for the next time he is on the show! Thanks for checking out the show and let me know what you think of other episodes you check out. Cheers!
Thanks for having us!
I love mags ❤️
@@TheFloatingNomNom I’ve known Elliott for some time now and he’s such a good person and an incredible musician !
My man tweaking like crazy.
@@stromeplays he has Tourette’s and is very open about it.
Great episode! I love this band and listen to them ALL THE TIME!!!!!! I loved how you conducted their interview! <3
Thanks so much! They are absolutely amazing for sure! Check out some old episodes if you’ve got time. I have some big guests coming up as well! Don’t forget to like and subscribe!
Wow. Riveting.
😂
Man I love hearing from this guy and about his life. He seems like such a genuine dude, and I love everything he’s done musically. Issues really fucked up
Totally agree! He's such a nice dude and everything he does is gold!
what was this all about guys🤔 … I just watched part 1… got it
Pretty crazy story
😥 *Promo sm*
It's good clean fun
Nice that all those bands chipped in when they got robbed.
I agree! The fans too!
It’s so funny that I love this guy as an artist, but in my close to 15 years of knowing of him, I never noticed he had Tourette’s syndrome so me you Mike are twins because I have it to fuck shit fuck fuck
… with a teeny bit of planning and a tiny bit of effort you could actually make food and not have to eat crackers for meals or eat at shit hole restaurants like Cracker Barrel
youve never toured have you? its a lot harder than you think it is
@@stourytime I did a few multi week road trips in a Winnie in my early 20s. Crock pot with the clips on the lid and a little grill. It's not THAT hard if you plan and stop at a grocery store every couple days.
@@pastaalalamborghini that's fair but also most musicians hitting the road work minimum wage paying jobs while they are home and save up just barely enough to pay bills before heading out on the road. When you are doing DIY touring, the money you make most nights is just to put gas in your van to make it to the next city. In most cases that's not even enough to make it there. Trust me, I did it for 8 years 200+ days a year at times.
@@stourytime yeah I get being young broke and struggling... That's literally why we would cook our own food while road tripping, it's a lot cheaper than eating out and it's not that hard.
I've got some videos of their return at Monster Mosh on my channel!
This was awesome. Lots of rad insight here - thanks dude. And stoked for a Hotel Etiquette tour
Glad you enjoyed it!
RIP Issues but it was the right thing to do to lay down the band! So excited for Woe's future! 🤘🏼
They was not about to be able to replace Tyler
What do you think of the new releases so far?
Shout out to Third String for making it happen. 🎉
They all played a big part in that band, job well done!

One of my favorite humans to this day!! Thankyou for this!😎🖤
Stouryy~ou shared unreal !))
It wasn't so bad. I had to run circles around our formation for a 3 mile run, holding my web belt over my head because I left it in a class room.
Didn't Macy's leave after the plandemic and all the riots because they kept getting cleaned out?
