I'm in the LIS2 camp myself! LIS1 was a good franchise start but 2 perfected it in my opinion. Didn't play BTS and couldn't stand True Colors lol.

I like the characters from true colors, mainly Alex and Steph. But other than the visuals, music and characters, I didn't really like the game.

Yes, yes, yes. I agree with this ranking 10000% as this is the exact same way I rank the games. Especially with your placement of before the storm, I agree with everything you said about the game. And I think that game could’ve gone higher for me if they had’ve given the story at least one more episode to fully wrap things up, because the first two episodes were really well done but when it came to episode 3, it felt as if they crammed too much into one episode and that makes it feel rushed. but granted for what they had to work with, I think that they did an okay job with wrapping the story up, but I think that they should’ve split the storyline of episode 3 into two parts with an extra episode so that they could do more with Rachel’s mother Sara and etc. but they redeemed the game for me by making the farewell DLC as I believe that they did an amazing job with it. Like bringing back Ashley Burch & Hannah telle to play Max and Chloe on their final day together before Williams passing and Max moving to Seattle, was the perfect idea for a DLC and I’m glad that they took advantage of that idea and really made it work. But the reason that Ashley Burch wasn’t playing Chloe in the main game was due to an actors strike I believe and because she’s apart SAG AFTRA she wasn’t able to do it but she was still a writing consultant on the game.

7:00 I mean I have the CE for LiS2, but I'm not selling it. The "absurd" amount of money you'd pay likely isn't absurd enough to satisfy me. Funnily enough, I got my LiS2 CE for free in a Reddit giveaway... before anyone else in the USA could even buy it, since it released late here; I got mine shipped from Square Enix's UK office. I do have a spare Sean and Daniel figurine (something found in the CE) & I think 3 spare sets of vinyl records (also found in the CE), since Squeenix sent me some extra stuff to give out at the Six Years After meetup event I hosted a little over a year ago & not everything was taken by attendees there. (Only like 6 people even attended.)

YESS, someone's finally talking about the soundtrack for LiS2!! Having 'No Woman' by Whitney and a bunch of other songs just fit the vibe so well :') And Sean & Daniel are my boys, I just love this game so much.

My ranking is almost the same as yours, except Life is Strange 2 is my favorite LIS game, and I still liked True Colors a lot despite it also being the lowest on my list. Really love how you explained your opinions though, and I hope that Tell Me Why video is coming soon! The game is so underrated, and, in my opinion, basically an unofficial Life is Strange game. I really wonder where Double Exposure will land on this list. I personally don't think it will top Life is Strange or Life is Strange 2, but it does have the potential to become the best Life is Strange game made by Deck Nine! At least I really hope it will be :)

i think this video is entertaining, ive been missing geniune not repetetive content from creators cause all this shit is boring and i watched this while doing school work and it helped me get it done. i was actually shocked when i saw the amount of views and subscribers bc i expected content like this to be big but i geniunally believe you can get popular. sorry for ranting im so fucking tired lol but this video is good and i loved the energy and jokes and editting so please keep it up :3

I both love and hate the Sacrifice Chloe ending it's narratively I think it's better, but the the shit Max had been with Chloe through the fact Chloe is likely the only person she can actually confide in if she is alive, there is 0 way she isn't going through insane amounts of PTSD regardless of if she is alive or not. but without her she has no one she can actually talk to about in a way that can help her cope. Like she can't talk to a counselor about it and go into details as none of it happened in that timeline besides Chloe dying. her experience in the dark room, she can at least talk too Chloe about everything. and Chloe deserves better then dying on the floor of a bathroom, thinking she was abandoned and that she had no one. It sucks the only time you can kiss her with a genuine passionate kiss between the two is the one where she dies. I did this ending once and never again, and wasn't the first ending I picked either. Max was faced with a impossible choice, save the love of her life, or the town. it's not as easy of a choice as it seems.

The reason Ashly Burch wasn't Chloe in BTS was she was involved in a big VA strike at the time, but she has her input put into BTS for the person that handled Chloe in BTS, so while not voicing her, her presence is still felt.

i hate how the games have just been downhill ever since dontnod stopped making the games. Life is Strange has such a huge potential as a series but decknine just isnt capable of making the games memorable, they just seem kinda dull and emotionless (funny because true colors is all about that).

I don't know why but always preferred true colors and tell me why over lis2. I adore those two games

True colors had the best story, 2 was a rollercoaster very fun but dark at times, the OG is a mix very entertaining
