It was a bit unexpected to see someone who didn't really like the new Deadpool movie, but also kinda refreshing? I liked it myself but it's nice to see a different perspective. As for x-men, I like Magneto for how sympathetic he is. He genuinely cares for mutants no less than Charles. He wanted a better world where mutants could be free, safe and unafraid. The movies didn't elaborate on that much but he is Jewish and an auschwitz survivor. He has seen humanity at its worst and he has no naive illusions about the worst never happening again. I like that moment in the old comics where he almost kills young mutant Kitty Pryde who is also Jewish, and kinda loses it. Magneto realizes that he has become the very thing he sought to destroy, it's heartbreaking
