What you have on your face (if it’s white or lighter skin is probably pityriasis versicolor and what’s supposed to cure that is selenium disulfide. This discoloration is known in Trinidad as ‚lotta’ and you can buy something in the pharmacy for it and apply it to your face. Versicolor is essentially a yeast or fungus. You light also want to try Whitfield’s ointment which is also good for fungal infections of the skin. The Whitfield’s will help you to shed the skin. I’d advise using the selenium desuffide first. Always wash your hands thoroughly after using the medications so that you don’t get them in your eyes especially the Whitfield’s.
