Great video. I'm 67 and have no plans to slow down riding. I went down the Cassiar highway two years ago, but didn't take the time for the side trip to Hyder.
Thank You. Have you been to Nova Scotia? I am planning that for next year.
Hi, I really appreciate this sort of footage. I do my best with what we have on this side of the puddle, but you showcase my sort of surroundings (and riding) I look forward to checking out your other videos. 😎
Thank You, Good to hear.
Hate that music under the video.. when the engine melody is better that. Take it away from me..
🤔Guess you have Patience ,Nice Run..But Car was Lacking in Road Etiquette .
Great looking RT. What year is it?
2022, 37,000 miles
Almost every road is fun the first time you ride it, and that is a good one. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed it! Keep on.
Thank you for helping Europe
Loved the video! How long of a ride is the TOTD? Would love to see it with the color change !!
318 curves, 11 miles
Celebrated seventy years old a few months ago. Hope to make the trip to TOTD next year on my 2022 BMW 1250RT. Love your K1600.
Actually it is a 2022 RT
@@BIMMERGUYRICHGeez…you would think that I could recognize the cockpit of that motorcycle by now. What a great motorcycle. Mine is the blue “sport “ model and it is the best I’ve ever ridden. Great video!
Nice of that driver to pass every available turnout and stay in front of you the entire trip. Great riding in the area - bet the RT was fun 👍
Would rather had my 900 XR.
There has been a massive increase in homes at Liberty Lake. Great drone views.
Solo at 70? Yes, way to go.
I have flown in that area too..check out..Northern-DroneGuy
I stayed in the sandman inn blue river. A train ran by every 1/2 hour all night long!!
Not their best hotel!
How many hours a day do you ride?
Average about 6 hours, 300 to 350 miles.
What model brand bike do you ride
2022 BMW R1250RT
@BIMMERGUYRICH nice.. I'm 6.4 and have been looking at those..I'm on an 05 road king right now but would really like the extra seat height of a gs adventure not to mention the extra power they have compared to my old Harley
The GS would be the better fit. You would be a bit cramped on the RT @@danielsouthern411
A beautiful ride that I've taken many times. I'm suprised you didn't video some of the seemingly near verticle tight corners on the east slope. You probably didn't want to scare anyone away. Monitor Pass, 8,314ft, Hwy-89 off of 4, is a great ride to Topaz Lake and is worth the detour and not to far. The view from the summit is spectacular. The last time we went my wife and I sat on a rock at the summit. A wild kindom perfect coyote sauntered by giving us a casual glace. Check out the Overland Resturant in Gardnerville. I can't account for it now cause it's been Yuppiefied, but 45 years ago it was rustic and I ordered lamb chops. I got served two and they hung over the plate.
Thanks for the info, will remember for a future trip.
Where are the curves😢
Did you notice the mountains?
Thank you for supporting us at Tobys Battery
Nice im gonna put these on my Honda st1300, have a blessed day 🙏 😊
I put a road 6 on the front and power 6 on the rear got a flat and that's all they had but seems good on the gen 1 zx10r
Not safe! Road tires are matched for handling. For that bike I would go with the Power 6.
I have them on my Honda VFR 1200 Crosstourer since 3000 kms. Till now perfect handling on dry curvy roads and also on bad asphalt surfaces, (no off road or gravel), still missing rain to test it on wet, for what was specially recommanded. Preasure 2,5 bar front and 2.8 bar on rear, solo. Regards from Hungary!
Fast!
Great choice.
Nice ride!
How many miles life?😢
With better grip, I ran them harder, so about the same as the Power 5. 4200 miles
@@BIMMERGUYRICH god damn no,I just bought power 6 for my tornado 500R.tyres life is too short for this cheap bike…
Looking 👀 good, nice machine, smooth footage!!
This is Janette. That's where Grandma's from!
Yes. Some day I will try to find the homestead.
I live in Seattle, and I'm fascinated with Canada. I wanted to enter Canada through Metaline Falls. I'm going to do that this summer, and spend the night in Kelowna. Next to Vancouver, to relax for a couple of days (my favorite vacation spot). I'm going to go through Spokane, and head North, up to Highway 31 (as opposed to driving up to Mt. Vernon, and driving East all the way on Highway 20).
Dear friend. I just bought Michelin road 6 GT 190/55/17 for my gsxr 600cc And i noticed that road 6 gt is for heavier bikes. Is it ok if i install it on my sport 600cc bike?
They will work just fine. I would recommend the Power 6 next time for a more sporting feel.
Trying on r1 replacing rs10
Just installed Power 6, I had Power 5 before (BMW S1000XR Gen1). The difference is tremendous. The Power 6 gives you so much more confidence that you take the turns like playing in a PlayStation. Best tire I have ever had, by far.
same bro. i currently have power 5’s on my 11’ s1000rr. & just ordered Power 6.
I was riding on a Michelin Pilot Power rear that wore clear through the 2 Polyaramid and 1 Aramid cloth plies (no steel) on half the circumstance to a flat tire, while rubber still covered the other half. I could have died that day. Did I wait too long to put on a new tire? Absolutely. Would I ever trust Michelin again? Not on my life.
There is no way you can get only 4300 miles out of a power 5 I am on a set of Rossi 3 tires much softer compound and I have 4500 miles on them currently and can get easily another 1000miles on them or more before the wear bar…… do you do any burnouts? Do you run super low psi that is very strange. and yes, I am on a liter bike
No burnouts, just spirited local riding.
Thank you for the great review !
One of main questions would be about the compound of the tire for that kind of money important to know
Got em on the r1, can recommend! Great feel and comfort. Very slightly noisier than the s22 I had.
Noise means grip.😊
how is straight line stability at higher speed? better or worse than the s22? thank you
@@MakTheSank good, got headshake today at around 250kmh, bumpy road, but wound on right through it. No probs.
@@keithmclean3627 good to know , stay safe
Amazing tire, but yeah they don't last
Can you weigh the Power 6's?
Tire weight: Front 9.5 lb, Rear 12.5 lb
Thanks! I just bought them and your info is correct! I have not ridden on them yet. How do they function compared to your previous tires?@@BIMMERGUYRICH
I also have not ridden with them yet, but looking forward to it.
I got 2900 out of mine. It is a great tire
Shittiest engine ever heard of
You behind that minivan made me very aggravated. I swear, I don’t know how you had the presence of mind to not go around them even though I know it’s against the law.
It was hard, but I was enjoying the view.
Fantastic place to go. We have gone there at least a couple times now since we’ve moved to western Oregon in 2016.
I would like to see the speed odometer.
Following speed limit of course.
💤 back to bed
I have ridden this road twice. At least the Harleys pulled asise to let you go!
More with Dave!
Wow.
