10/10 recommend this video! This person was thorough with every step, made sure you can see everything and provides part numbers and links for parts. I thought this would be impossible but I followed every step and now my dryer is running perfectly again! The one thing I would add is, if your washer and dryer are in an unfinished basement like mine is, be prepared to spend way more time cleaning out all of the lint and dirt before replacing parts and reassembling

Ge profile like in the video, unit is too cold , im guessing thermistor I got a fault code I believe was seven I didn’t see that on the sheet your video is pretty quick I understand but I can’t get the back panel in the main fridge compartment off don’t want to break it, two screws in center but not comming off

Awesome video ! Going to try to fix mine today , same situation, but 1 question when turned on working order and it runs a little loud what could it be ? New belt ? It’s not as easy to spin when off like the way you spun before disassembled the dryer

My LG has date code 11-22 and the Model number LRS02706D. Where can I buy the entire unit like yours. Mine kept jamming then making this crazy loud noise. The tube also always jammed up.

What are the wheel part number?

My question would be: If the dryer sounds and powers “on” but no lights and only happens once, would it be the control board you just replaced, or the display interface? 🤔 please get back to me with your thoughts. I’m stuck between buying the control board or the display interface board. Both around $250 now.

Just a follow up on this, my initial fix with a piece of foil lasted about 8 months. Then the washer started acting again: it would power up then shut down immediately, or shut down mid-cycle full of soapy water, and sometimes we could even hear it turn on and off by itself while it wasn't in use and no one was touching it. Eventually it wouldn't power on at all, completely dead. I opened it up again, I'm not sure but maybe my piece of foil had moved a bit out of position. Anyway I repositionned it properly, and taped it in place (on the edges) this time. Then added a small square of foil flat against the back of the power button, held with tape. Closed it up, plugged it in and touched the power button, it came back to life immediately. So right now it's working good again. We'll see how it lasts this time. The issue is CLEARLY with these pesky touch buttons.

This is a very good video. Only issue I had was after I removed all the screws for the console, I swear that would not come off and slide back for the life of me. Watched you just roll it back and mine did not want to cooperate at all...LOL Thank you

Thank you for the video. My LG had the craft ice maker replaced twice and failed again. The fridge compressor then died after only 4 years. While I have been waiting several weeks for a repair under warranty, they sent me yet another craft ice maker. The video link they sent me was broken and no directions were included. Your video was very helpful. The trick was just getting the wiring harness plugged back in, as I really could not see it. After taking a picture I figured out the plug was set at an angle and the clip is on the side towards the middle. This will be our last LG appliance. Thanks again.

Hey, do you have the code list for newer model RSH7? I could access the configuration mode by pressing and holding Freezer and Vacation buttons and there are configurating codes 0 1 2 3 4 12 16 and 19, but no clue what is which. I need to increase cubes feeding time. Thank you!

So I have a 6_ meaning the heater is off. I changed the heater thermostat in the freezer and the heater u bar . What else can I do because that didn’t help? Model LFSS2612TE4 Frigidaire.

I purchased the parts online(took two days). I replaced all of the pulleys as well as the belt. 90 minute job. I had your video on stand-by and used it as I reinstalled the belt. The reinstallation of the belt was the hardest part due to essentially reinstalling the pulley by feel. I went ahead and cleaned out the verticle duct (to the roof-big surprise at amount of lint...), and vacuumed out the inside of the dryer. The dryer is quiet and works well as I type this. I did not replace the fuse that had been mentioned in the video (comment/suggestion from Online Appliance Tech?). I saved myself some $$ on the labor. Enjoy your Saturday.

Thank you! Very helpful. Are you sure the air blows through on test #5 with no type of fan going? I could hear the damper open and close, but no air and I can't figure out why there would be. Is there a fan built into the damper system? Everything (except this) was fine but fridge still not cooling properly. Wondering why.
