Snagged this just north of Detroit from a really nice dude who just got a in a bit over his head. Lots of cool parts justified the drive/price. Would y’all like to see me get it running? Post up them comments and let me know!

Tv Static intro/outro goes hard
Is that a euro bike ? Never heard of a SR 🤔.
No. They were only imported for three years so they're not the most common, but they were definitely available in the US.
They were a variant of the Honda Express
Cool!!
Wow, the ever-changing Zero's Shop is looking better than ever! I'll have to stop by sometime to say Hi!
Washing your hands??? In a mopad shop??!!? Wow. Impressive 🐚🌊
Am loving this new content! Keep it up! 🌊🐚
Sound is great!
new wireless mic hype! cant wait for more of your videos, sounds so good!!! fred and i beat aliens at like 3am during the Winter Swap MeAt. very stoked to come visit again, so excited for the national rally next year!!!

I hate to be lazy but would you be able to reply with a list or links to the carb you bought and adjustments? Seems like you have it figured out and my O.E. carb is a stuttering nightmare with my big bore kit. I've taken it apart more times than I've driven it. Would love to Smart-carb it but that's a pretty penny.
I actually used a kit from Speed Moto Co. Though it was for an 84 CB125. I had to modify the intake a bit, and then of course tune the carb. The cab itself is just a 28mm VM Mikuni
damn that is bad ass
Excellent my friend 👏👏👏 Greetings from Argentina 🙋🏻♂️
that thing is awesome!
2-3 hours solid runner for sure
anyone got a tomos homoet hanging up on that wall?
How about a video on how to open up the port for better flow but without adjusting port timing. I ain’t ported a cylinder yet and I have a bunch of Moby cylinders I want to practice on. I first want to just get good at opening stuff up a bit for better flow and then move on to proper port timing porting later on. You think a stock Moby jug would respond well to just simple exhaust and intake matching ?
oh ya, there is also some porting tips for stock Moby cylinders on the Wiki of MA
Hello my friend, do u can tell me what is size of piston for garelli Noi ? I need buy new
there are different sized pistons depending on what cylinder you have, here I used the NOI Polini kit from Treatland.tv
Yall get a big shipment from DOS ? Or what’s up ?
A few months back, yep
This was 100% what I needed. Love these videos.
Sounds like you need to go a couple sizes smaller on the main jet and the top end will clear out.
Awesome!
"Lot of angry Tomos clutches" "Doesn't look steep. But, it is" You literally said exactly what I was thinking! 😂
Look at this young exhaust STUD over here 🌭
Funny lookin' moped
What's your sprocket setup and what top speed have you gotten with the big bore kit? Great vids, I got a big bore kit for my xr150l so this niche video really helps. Also how are you measuring your temps? Did you purchase a kit or just the trusty laser temp gun on the exhaust
My gearing is stock, my top speed is also about the same. You really feel the difference in the torque. For my temps I am using a head temp sensor that attaches to the spark plug. Glad you're enjoying the videos, I hope to do more in the future.
Looks cool but having trouble finding anything about "Indigan" online, where did you find this?
so wait. on bike 2. where you got to cold. what happens when the cylinder gets to cold? what was the problem there? running to cold is a new concept to me. never thought about any negative side affects of running to cold.
It was so cold I couldn't burn all my gas, much like 4-stroking. I just kept slowing down, stopped, pulled my carb apart, dropped my needle to the leanest setting, then rode on that for the rest of the race.
How many of these motorcycles do you have?🤣👍
hey this one isn't mine! Its my dad's lol
@@Ascoute1 that’s cool that you and your dad share hobbies. My dad hates motorcycles; we don’t get along and he’s not in my life. Don’t forget to tell your dad that you love him.
@Ascoute1 I would love to see all the mods.
Did you do anything to the ports on the head? Might help if you open the intake port slightly or at least "port match" the carb. adaptor to the head. Just a thought if it wasn't already done.
Good job! Sounds right to me.
Tag!! You’re it lol!!
Looks like he did a good job with that 222cc kitted bike.
Yeah I agree
Test, Test, Test! Real world plug chops is the right way IMO (unless you have a dyno machine in your back pocket). The stock carb. has a purpose, it will let the engine last for an eternity, it just doesn't make any power. 😂
I have fouled one plug so far, when starting the bike if you give it gas it will flood, however if you just press the starter it fires right up. So I'm thinking my idle jet may be a bit big, but otherwise it seems spot on.
@Ascoute1 It sounded pretty good 👍🏼 My criteria for idle jets is this, starts good, returns to idle quickly (no hanging/slow return or low rpm dips as it gets back to idle), transitions well to the main jet, spark plug reading works at idle also. Side note: I think 250 degrees is probably a good place to shoot for on this engines CHT. In air-cooled aviation engines, we could run up to 500-525 degrees on the CHT in some engines, but they have overly built conponents like thick piston crowns, Nimonic 90 exhaust valves, thick exhaust ports, oil jets on the valves for heat disipation, etc. etc...
@@MishMashMotoany suggestions on possible MFI carbs? I know that GoPowerSports has one but I’m not sure the sizing of it.
@@DustySteel No, I am not familiar with MFI on motorcycles.
@@MishMashMoto Tillotson TFB & TCT Mechanical Fuel Injection for Predator 212 or any Honda 6.5hp engine. I don’t think this would be big enough though. Nowhere does it say a size diameter of it.
Thanks for the info
Hello. Sachs 505 1A where do you get parts (engine) and cables?
Treatland.tv and DosCycles.com are good resources
Wow you know your stuff! Loving the xr content 👌
Boo! ;-)
I was waiting for this, which is why I already tagged you in the insta post for it!
Is the kill switch wired between the stator and cdi box on the hot wire?
yep, you could put it in other spots and it would have the same effect
It sounds good . Just got mine love it . Ride safe
memorizing this for the tsm. great video :^)
I very much like that you are treating this thing like a big mopad. 4 stroking lol. you'll get it sorted it's just a carb. much easier to tune under load. Seat of pants dyno #1
Is it not called 4-stroking when you get to much gas on a 4t!?
@@Ascoute1 8 stroking or something lolol. Idk they call it. Rich
Nice, this one dosen't look half bad, or they look is starting to grow on me.
I'm not gonna lie, I am starting to feel the same. This bike is using 95% stock parts, sans the engine
Did you say 2.8mm btdc for your HPI? That’s not too advanced? (Currently working on timing my TSM with an HPI as well.)
I was reading a thread on MA, seems people were using like 2.5-3mm btdc. The box has a pretty wicked curve so it seems to work? I’m feeling it out too
are the eurocilindro kits rare for these? I have an acquaintance in italy offering me an 80cc eurocilindro cylinder for my stupid garelli that's apparently mega unobtainium
DOS sells this cylinder, I picked it solely based on its design, aka it mimics a TSM cylinder, so it has superior cooling. 77 used to sell those VIP kits back in the day, finding a true VIP kit is a trick, but those kits were poorly caste, I actually had to return one. That said I'd still take a chance on it, as you wont come across one again
I just got one as well. Where did you get your 225 kit from?
Depends on how much you want to spend. BRT Racing has a 276cc kit but is almost $1k after shipping and taxes.
Very nice. How much did all this badasserey set you back? Any suspension upgrades? I ride mine in some pretty rough places and I worry if the suspension can handle the power the bike already has...
Super lurvly!! says 60 year old moped nutter. I like how the music dent drown out 2 stroke sound track!! I also like how I dent see a single cop. Where is this? I'm in Santa Cruz CA where there is sadly only a handful of ped riders.
Thanks for the feedback, I try really hard to mix the audio tracks so you get the best of both
Oh! And we are a club located in Toledo Ohio
like imagine using the nice weather to go play golf or some other stupid shit rather than ride a moped
Hey! A bunch of us went golfing the day before this lol
