Audi A6 C5 2.7t Cylinder Head pick up/ Upgrade To 2.8T
Pulled a set of 2.8L cyl heads from a scrap yard 02 Audi a6 to install & upgrade my Audi a6 c5 2.7t (same as the B5 S4 engine). Everything bolts right up the same. The differences are larger cams & much larger intake ports. Some model years have (2001 & under N/A engines I believe) have non sodium filled valves which causes high heat when 2.7t swapped. DIY FIX - WINDSHIELD WIPERS THAT DON’T MOVE/ WIPE
มุมมอง 8393 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video the windshield wiper motor did still function as it should but the wipers did not move like they should. After unbolting the wiper motor we find out that the motor was disconnected from the wiper control arms completely due to a missing bolt. Once I put everything back in place and replaced the missing bolt with a replacement bolt and oiled a few parts the wipers functioned as the...

Hyundai Santa Fe Wiring Harness Repair
มุมมอง 1.4K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I had a clogged catalytic converter and when I removed the O2 senser to relieve the backed up presser all the heat went directly on the wiring harness causing the harness wires to fuse together. After rewiring and the melted wires and changing a few fuses the truck cranked right up. Hope someone got some information from this video. Remember to leave a like, comment or subscribe.

Saved my ass brother ❤
Gd video
Bro thanks for the video ! Also use a jack stand I was stressing the whole time for you. Stay alive and make more videos
what happens to the car
What is the problem with that car?
What's the point of watching your leg ?
Gracias por tu ayuda lo cambie sin tanto lios😅😅😅
What sound was it making how did you know it was the shock and not the strut
Awesomeness
Thank You
Bro really swapped out a strut with vice grips and a impact driver 😂😂😂 I ain’t even mad
Legend. Had so much trouble last night. Got under the car, to try to manually do it. Popped open covers next to gear knob, nothing worked until your video. Thankyou for you work
This turorial is total nonsense, engine has no cover on and you starting it? Can you go underneath the car and turn on the Neutral properly? So many bad information, no wonder everybody hates this car.
Hey man great vid, am also going to do this. Can you share where you placed the Jack? Is it the subframe? I heard the pinchwelds were weak on this car so wondering if I should Jack on the subframe.
Hey man, stay safe, use jack stands. You never know if/when a jack could fail or slip.
Гуудд
How do u put it back ?
It’s timed to go back on its own after 5-10 minutes I believe
looks simple its been awhile like 30 yrs since i changed struts i had to be sure there were no special tools
No special tools needed it’s pretty straight forward
Bro do you have Jack stands? Never use a jack as stands it's dangerous brother.
I have stands just don’t use them sometimes if I don’t feel it’s necessary unless I’m going completely under a vehicle, I know what to expect otherwise.
Thank you. Today I changed mine and found your video as reference. Thanks from Mexico City!
Thanks for watching my vid, Glad it helped.
Thts simple what if the car is not coming on and u need to tow it
If you can give it a jump I would do that and then try this method but if it’s not an option then I would recommend removing the drive shaft or a cv axle.
there is a bolt under the transmission near the gear selector, you turn the bolt and it forces it in neutral
does the vehicle need an alignment afterworlds? does the steering wheel say centered?
The steering typically stays center when replacing with an oem spec part.
Anytime you replace a strut, you should get an alignment
About to do mine now
Best of luck to you.
Do you know if this would work on a 2014 435i coupe xDrive?
How about if engine is locked but i got power
Sheeeee, muh fuh……
What if the car dont turn on due to shortage
I guess It would depend on what kind of shortage you have like starter, wiring or ecu?
What if it’s starter?
@@fredysandjong1589 If the starter has an issue this trick may still work, I’m not 100% sure but it’s worth the try. If it doesn’t work the next option I would do is disconnect the driveshaft. If your car has the “X-Drive” or “awd” option then disconnect the driveshaft & a front cv axle.
Not working if starter is off😢
I wish I had someone to do mines on my care I’m going to watch how to do it and do it myself
Just don't trust that floor jack by itself to suspend that vehicle weight. Use jack stands and block those wheels.
Great video thank you!! The explanation at the end was exactly what I needed.
I use those same shocks. They were Monroe and now every time I turn I get up that creaking noise. I think I have defective strut bearings that came on the complete set that I got… they sound extremely dry
I've had that too. Not really much you can do about it except then change the strut bearing. That kind of wipes out the purpose of a quick strut assembly!
@@42lookc Yea it sucked but I actually contacted Rockauto and they sent me new ones-sucked I had to redo both sides but no more noise so Im happy lol
@@hunterm.172 Right on! 🙂
What was the symptom that determined replacement? What was the customer complaining about?
Thanks for the vid I got everything loose but the strut bolts wouldn’t come loose from the spindle!! You know how you hook that pliers up to the bolt and you just seem like you just pull them out my won’t budge!! Any suggestions??
I put my pliers on the bolt end (incase its not seized i dont want it to free spin) & the impact on the nut. The bolt typically is seized in place so if you get the nut to come free usually for the seized bolt i thread the nut on enough to where its flush with the end of the bolt (to protect the threads) & hit it a few times with a mallet. If that doesn't work use a torch on the bolt & try the process again. Those tricks always work for me but if not for you using a ball joint press & pressing it out would be my last option.
Man I needed a 2.5lb hammer and then bolts flung out!! Took me 90 mins total both sides!! That count jacking up the car and tires!!! I appreciate the video!!!
When I saw the vice grips I was out... Oh and use some jack stands dude.
What brand of shock did you go with?
i don't remember it was a clients car but I know it was an OEM spec replacement in a yellow box with blue lettering.
@@hoodbillysyellow and blue is bilstein
Looks like a kyb quick strut tho 🤔
Extra shaky with the camera but good video my g.
Thanks for your opinion pointing out a flaw, I'll try to make future vids better.
@@hoodbillys Nah bro great video he's just a complainer. Thank you for the help
@@gb342002 the video wasn’t perfect but good enough to post and help someone. So I appreciate both of your opinion.
First thing you need is a jack stand before you drop that car. The rest of the video is good tho.
I used jack stands (2x) i just have a habit of leaving the jack in place (supporting little to no weight at all) incase a stand "fails"
@@hoodbillys me too.
Good morning sir hope your day is going well!
Thank you sir, I hope the same for you. Thanks for watching.
@@hoodbillys Your very welcome sir anytime. My day is going good. Do you know how to read and comprehend wiring diagrams sir?
Nice job
Thanks you.
thank you! time for me to do it 👌👌👌
No problem, Thanks for watching best of luck to you.
@@hoodbillys went perfect. a couple nuts were difficult to remove, but reassembly was cake.
I have a 18 just touched 80k Think it's time for me to replace?
@@Lord_Don couldn't hurt. My tire had wear patterns that indicated resonance bouncing and made a replacement an easy decision.
@@King_Kristof thanks broski! What’s a good brand for a smooth ride?
please do not follow the steps in this video unless you are completely desperate....
I agree, this isn't a long term repair just a "repair" the owner didn't want to pay the price for a new harness and installment just the "get it running again the cheapest way so i can get rid of it" price. Its a year later and i still see this car on the road with no problems.
Damn bro
