How to Apply No Nip Covers for body painting.
I have had quite a few people ask me to make a video on how to correctly apply my brand of covers.
This video covers how to apply the 3.5" nipple covers and the Full Coverage crotch cover.
As the male covers have not been OFFICIALLY released yet, they are not included. I will do another video on those at that time.
To purchase your own covers go to:
www.nonipcovers.com
Our payment processor has an annoying USA only policy. If you contact me I can tell you how to get around that if you wish to order from overseas.
Paint used in this demo is Proaiir Hybrid and Diamond FX. My two favourite paints.

    The reason you seal the clay is because the ultracal will leach moisture out of the clay if not sealed and make a weak mold right where you need it to be strong . It should not be optional if you want a good mold . Any kryolon gloss will work fine

    • @toxicimagestudios9547
      @toxicimagestudios9547 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Samantha. The smell comes from both the ammonia used to maintain a liquid state and the sulfur needed for the foam to cure. For a while I used to add some vanilla essence to my foam to mitigate the smell… but the price rise made that cost prohibitive for me. If you can afford it it works well

    Well, there is a very good reason why ALL latex mask makers use Hydrocal , Pottery Plaster, or Plaster of Paris . Ultracal should only be used when you need to bake the mold or put a large a mount of pressure on it. Ultracal and other white Gypsum plasters , absorb the water in the latex and build up a nice thickness in one pour. Let's not try to reinvent the wheel, when we already know what works best for which purpose.

    • @jholybigjesus
      @jholybigjesus 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ultracal 30 is pretty decent for long lasting molds. Ive been using it for many years. The molds last longer than pottery plaster or plaster of paris by almost 100 or more pulls. I didn't really like hydrocal because after a few pulls it gets more and more porous than before. Using heat above 100 F to 200 F will cause ultracal to crack or explode depending on how high the temp is because of its low shrink value. Sucks to have to vacuum your oven.

    • @toxicimagestudios9547
      @toxicimagestudios9547 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you are correct. Hydrocal is superior for its capillary action in regards to leeching out the ammonia and leaving a nice even skin on the mold. It is not, however, superior in terms of strength and library life. UC30 lasts a whole lot longer, you just need to leave it to dwell for longer and you will still get the same effect. When I worked at Universal we used to mix 2:1 UC to HC to try and wlk the line between both worlds. It worked pretty well. This mold needs to last for many many pulls, so I decided on UC30. I am not "reinventing the wheel". Many people use Ultracal 30 for mask molds. In fact, Rick Baker recently had Rob Freitas mold one of his mask molds and he used Ultyracal 30. Be careful throwing around words like "ALL" and "ALWAYS".

    • @toxicimagestudios9547
      @toxicimagestudios9547 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you are referring to a hand turned egg mixer then no, that would not work. You wont get enough speed to get the rise you want and you wont be able to maintain an even speed whilst refining to avoid bubbles. You should use an electric mixer for sure.

  • @Capryca
    @Capryca ปีที่แล้ว

    How long to wait for the ultracal to fully set?

    • @toxicimagestudios9547
      @toxicimagestudios9547 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on which speed of Ultracal you are using. If it is Ultracal30 then it should take 30 minutes if mixed according to manufacturers specifications. A good rule of thumb, though , is to go by the temperature of the material. If mixed effectively, it should heat up considerably as it sets. Once cooled you should be able to do whatever you need to it. If running foam latex, however, you will most likely need to bake out the mold to remove the unwanted moisture or you can get delamination.

    Would you recommend only to use WED clay for the matrix mold jacket, or could you use plastalina clay?

    • @toxicimagestudios9547
      @toxicimagestudios9547 ปีที่แล้ว

      The reason I l Ike WED is because it is very soft. If you use a hard clay then it can jack up your sculpt (if you are molding a sculpt). If you are molding something hard then you could absolutely use plastalina but it will be a pain to work with and finish down. You don’t need any detail and water clay is easy to clean out of the jacket. You can throw it fast also. If all you have is plastalina then you could in theory use it., but I think it would be better to get some water clay.
