Nick's First Time on a Dirt Bike - XR600R
I want an xr600. Nice bet my four banger ranger would love climbing a hill with that in the back .
The high idle is making it much tougher to learn on. Needs to go in the shop and get a tune up and maybe a new carb.
I would love to have a xr600 they are very good bikes
I love my 96 xr600r BEAST
First time on a bike, WEAR A HELMET !!!!!! He only has one brain. C'mon man !!!
This bike doesnt sound right. Idle too high as well. I would adjust the carb and get a sebring slip on. But: xr 600 is a good choice! We hat a lot of fun last century with these on the danish isle of röm
Your lucky guy practice riding on XR600, soon i will practice also my 2 boys on my XR400...
Need some music!!
I have the same noise with dkm clutch ! Did you solved ?
Funny my xr250 after learning how to control a clutch I have never stalled it that only happens if I accidentally leave it in second gear make sure to give it lots of gas let out the clutch and as soon as you feel some grab put a little more gas in it
He'll be just fine. I pulled the opposite foul startups and stood it straight up.😂
Best ALLaround bike ever built other than being very tall what a great ride does over 100 miles an hour wheelies really nice respectably fast jumps well good on the slideways throws a nice roost climbs excellent and is king of the fire roads much better than a 650 xr on the weight and quicker i have a 96 withva big bore and post 2010 forks (yamaha yz) and aftermarket mono geared down to 80 mph and stripped as light as possible with a xr only flatslide 42 mil makuni carb and D&G header and silencer funnest one ive ever owned ive had about five of them
AWSOME guys👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍hand my 1998 xr600r almost 20 years now , love it👍👍👍👍👍
Video quality is crappy.......I was trying to hold a camera that was clipped to my shirt but it'd point to the tank every time I had to shift. And I was more worried about Nick dumping it in the turns......
Brings back memories of when I got my Yamaha dt400 I've grown up riding quads and three wheelers
Thank you
I recently got an XR600R as my first bike and haven’t even turned it on yet I’m just watching my dad ride it 💀💀
This reminds me of when I got my first bike a 96 XR400R, still got it
No helmet no boots. Don't care much for your son? My XR 150 is way harder to kick then the 600 lmao. Here in Asia you can't get the 600. Only the XR150L and XR150R A few years back you could get 200 but nothing bigger. Unless you had money to burn.
No, I care for him deeply. We Texans are just tougher than Asians......
@@shawnmahler9992🤣🤣
dont let the clutch fast off
That’s one of the best things for a teenager !!👍🏻 my friends and I had some of the best times riding dirt bikes an getting chased by the game warden and cops 😂
Awesome to watch father and son like that. I’m a father of two boys 7 and 1 and couldn’t be more happy
Oh yeah, the wife ran off with another married guy 5 years ago and left me with two teenage boys aged 13 and 11....But I have to say it's been very rewarding raising these boys into men by myself....You're in for the challenge of your life but you're going to cherish every minute of it. We don't need no stinking women!!!! hahaha.....
Man that really hits home. I grew up with my best friend Christian (rip buddy) and he and his brother grew up with their father after his mother left them :/ I also have full custody of my oldest and you’re right, it’s amazing and I’m happy that I’m blessed with such a life. No we don’t need women to do a man’s job! God bless you and your family, I can tell that your son has been raised right. He was smiling and having a great time despite struggling at first. Clearly he has been raised to never give up!
Qual melhor modelo de suporte para empinar moto ?
Baptism of fire learning on an XR6. You going to get him a Lion as his first cat ?
Not a great 1st bike to learn on,massive power these beauts, get it wrong,it'll fight u!😱😱😱💀🤔🤔😱
Thats a great effort . Theses xrs can be hard to get the hang of the starting proses for a novice but once mastered what a bike . I have 3 of them xr400 xr600 and xr650 . By farr the xr600 is my favourite. For sure when hes older had had many bikes the xr will be his favourite, they got a character no other bike in my 35yrs of riding comes close 👍👍👍
Very good idea. Do you have any video showing how it turns out in practice?
No we don't Javier.....We'll try to get some video but I can tell you it works great. For whatever reason there's something about knowing it's back there that seems to make you braver. But you know that you can overrun the wheel and lose all control of the back brake so you don't hit it too hard but it does get you up there in the balance zone a heck of a lot faster than nothing at all..... We just have to do something about the weight.....should've made it out of aluminum instead of steel. Hahaha
I got the XR250R 1994 but my dream bikes are xr600r, 650r and cbr 1000rr and maybe CR500r
Great to see another XR600R back on its feet. I love these old XRs as well. That is Some serious lineup there. The cr500 especially is a bike of masters. I have a 92 XR250R, a 96 XR600R that i am restoring, and a 95 kawasaki KLX650. I love riding the klx and the xr250 feels like a powerful mountain bike its so light
nice,i bought my xr 250r 2weeks ago
I want those purple fork boots for my 650l ! 😀
One bike ride is all it takes! - I'm a Dirt Bike Addict since 8yrs Old The XR600 is a Perfect Allround Dirt Bike 👍😁
Helmet? Gloves, Boots?
@scottmcburney8938maybe a helmet 🪖⛑️ BUT gloves 🧤 and Boots 👢 🥾 aren't necessary pal
@@TerryStewart724 Ride much, spoken like someone who's never had an unplanned get off. Shit I crashed my bicycle and wore the gloves palm almost to the skin. But hey it's still a free choice, thank goodness.
Nice bike

Not a good solution! O-rings wear out quickly, the pump overheats! To charge 1 pcp air gun, it takes 3-4 rest times for the pump to cool down! Otherwise, the o-rings will break down very quickly!
It's been 7 years and the O rings are still hanging in there.....Maybe you have some bad O rings.....
30-40 rpm are good for avoid overheating th pump. The longer the recharging continuous use, the lower the rpm...the best.
Here we see the F-35 flying in formation with three other aircraft that would each defeat it in a dogfight.
Whoa, I didn't know.

Cool bit of ingenuity and skill. My dad was 50s hot rod guy and boat racer. Highly talented in many ways weld electric and millwright skills machine shop knowledge and personality that ment business at 52 now dad would be 84. He hand fabricated many things and taught me more about doing things like this than I can list. In my military service I was given awards for professional skill adapting to situations and solving problems. I give you my sincere respect and will share 2 sayings that he lived by and simple truth about self driving and teaching yourself new skills.. first. Where there's a will to do something there is a way to get it done. Second dont let fear put lead in your A$$ (many meanings to this. ) dont let fear of setbacks or failures stop you... and. He wasn't a good scholar in normal setting. But he would say if you can read you can teach yourself anything. And I totally agree with you on telling people to try and do it themselves. Surely you had some trial an error in getting this working. That's precisely the problem with the world we live everyone wants to get the benefits of someone else's trail and error the sweat and frustrations. and not even try to figure out how it works or taking what on hand and make it work for themselves. Admittedly this is long winded but i was impressed with your skilled solution and the truth bomb on selling blue prints for something that none exist.
How long does it takes to fill te tank ??
There is no any details? Thanks for nothing. DISLIKE
Figure it out yourself....I did.
what clutch are you running? that sounds terrible
It's a DKM clutch for Stage 2 tune. The stiffest clutch I've ever tried to push and when your leg wears out at a light and you shift to neutral it sounds like a diesel. They say it's because its a single mass flywheel but I think they should've stated something somewhere that it was going to be the noisiest clutch in the world. Now I'm going to have to buy another clutch and pressure plate that goes with the original dual mass and reinstall everything again. I paid German Autocraft $900 to install the first one. I think me and my son are going to try it this time. Do not buy DKM.
Great shooting guys!!
Not a homemade pcp pump! It is an automated pcp pump.
What scope are you using?
It's a .25 cal Benjamin Marauder with a no name 6-24x50 scope I got online someplace. It's a cheapy but works well enough for a pellet gun.
Can you make a more detailed video on how to make one? Thanks.
