Wine is passion, transporting us in space and time, history, culture, land and geography and of the heart and soul of the people who created it for us to enjoy. Let’s search for those special experiences and unique places together but first let’s share a glass of wine….and maybe some food.

If you are interested in European wine tour by car, anyone can do it with a little planning. Let me coach you through that process, so you can build your own personal relationships with the people and places that make the wine. All my videos are of places that I have visited myself.

Great vid!
Great informative video!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for helping an old man on the flight today, much appreciated!
So cool to meet you, from one old man to the other.
Please show close up of the bottle.
Hi Greg, we are away to South of France in a couple of months...any vineyards you recommend?
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. South of France, not sure. But in Provence, Domaine De La Garenne (Bandol). Not to far from the Beach. Say hello to Béatrix.

O nome do meu pai era Rufino, será que meus antepassados eram italianos ?
Non so
I believe so. My father's name was also Rufino. He was born in Puerto Rico but my great great grandpa came from Corsica which is a French island but is closer to Italy and also belonged to Italy briefly. My last name, originally Negroni, comes from Genoa so yes, I believe we got Italian roots.
Hi Greg, great series about Puglia, very helpful, I'm planning a trip and will love to taste some of the wines you showed and visit some wineries. Thank you very much for the great tips!
Please do!

Pompeii has always fascinated me!
That label is beautiful, I would love to try this wine!
It is widely available in the USA!
I've always wanted to go to Italy!
Making me want to go on a wine tasting!
Loved the start to this one!
Thanks. It was difficult to pronounce all the words correctly.
Thanks for the tips!
Definitely want to taste all that wine!
These are some really good tips. 😃 I can’t wait to put them to use. 😉🍷
Grazie. Thanks.
Very informative!
I appreciate the likes.😀
I want to try them all!
Wine tour there sounds amazing!
One of my favorite wines!
Thanks.
Great video! Especially if you don't taste wine often.
Helpful video!
Informative!
Great video and info on wines!
What food would you recommend them with?
The Arneis I would serve as I would with a Chardonnay which means, for me, Salmon, Turkey, Pork Loin, Grilled veggies or just some cheese. The Barbera goes with pizza, pasta with tomato or a hamburger or just a ham sandwich. It is versatile. The other reds I would serve with roasted meats, a steak, lamb chops or a hearty stew with some mushrooms. Pasta bolognese also.
This a a well made and informative video. I am now craving pizza and wine!
Thanks
Nice job, Greg! Tony and I ended one of our New Year's Eve parties at dawn with our friends and a bottle of 1997 Brunello Di Montalcino, Col D'Orcia. Do you know the Col D'Orcia property?
Thanks. 1997 was one of those better years. I do not know Col D'Orcia but there are hundreds of wineries there. I have only been to like 14 of them. There is never enough time!
Yummy, Greg. What favors on your palate do you taste in the 2010? Do you taste cherry and black cherry notes? I love that flavor profile! Does it have a lingering finish? I bet it does. Love your video! Thanks for the tour! #Goals
Yes, black cherry and dark stone fruits, but also dark berries. In Italian the expression they would use is "fruitti di bosco". The wine is very long and lingers. Some mushroom that makes a perfect pairing with black truffles.
Thanks! Truffles: Yum
Bravo Gregory!!!!
Grazie
Wow! Great video!
Thanks!
What a great intro to The Riffino wines!
Thanks, Please share.
Greg, this was very informative! I wish you the best with your new venture! I will be tuning in to all your future videos.
Awesome, thank you!
