Nice one Mike :)
Un lugar impresionante, un día me gustaría hacer un viaje así!!!
These rigs are so much bigger IRL than they look on video!
They are super 4x4 & 6x6 vehicles - Real pleasure to drive.
Iceland is so amazing! Just subbed to see more :)
Nice video Mike :)
Nice video Mike - Wish I could have joined you.
Monster pick up !!! Top like 🇧🇷
👌👌👌
how wide is the tires?
GOOD video!👍😊😃❤️
What sort of "testing" is that!!?..

Engine Noise is always better than music..
Wow very cool.. i have a kdj 120
Brings back great memories :)
about how much is that? is that posible on a l200?
か!かこええ~♪
A car could do most of that.
Fantastic Toyota and AT cars. Nice pictures. Awful music (heavy and psychodelic - should be classic music as beautiful as cars itself) I had to turn sound off during watching the video...
you definitely don't need a truck like this to get around the trails in Iceland. i rented a fully loaded mitsubishi outland with half tread tires and went through the highlands. some close calls in some deep water crossings but survived. knowledge and skill are just as important as having the right vehicle.
This ain't a car to have a nice run through trails. There's an almost identical 6x6 hilux in the town i live in used by a company that runs and maintains the powergrid. These cars can get everywhere they need to get, Their old Landcruiser's on 44's had problems getting to some of the spots we have power lines, But the 6x6 hilux on 38's can float on snow even when fully loaded and with 4 grownups with all their gear.
Will my Ford Fiesta be able to do this?
Just stumbled onto this Video. You have a totally AWESOME place !! 👍👍👍 Great video .. Very much enjoyed it ! 😊😊
All artic videos show these trucks doing NOTHING special. Let's see the real potential, if not it is just looks without real performance. 6X6 should in theory do things 4x4 can't.
awesome !
v.nice
เยี่ยม!!!
On my next trip to Iceland, ii'm going to rent that baby
смотрю второе видео с участием этого монстра и ничего особенного не увидел. обзор от давидыча верный! , это просто большая , эффектная - игрушка.
I see your point. Aygo and IQ would have been lost here. Also this looks very exciting. But original sound of tires and engine would improve your videos though.
Max Roald Eckardt Thanks for you advice
Nice ride, but you could do those trips in a 2WD Aygo or IQ as well.
Max Roald Eckardt you should see the more recent videos of the truck on my site for some more serious offroad in the snow!

+Mike Herbert Why a 6x6 ? Does it have any advantages to a 4x4 ? Turning circles must be huge....
+pol1250 Yes it has advantages. More tire area on ground and therefore lower surface pressure. This avoids the vehicle sinking into the ground on soft surfaces, like snow.
@3:11 What road is that?
Island ist einfach traumhaft! Danke für den tollen Film!
Super trip!
it's very srtong
ES 4X4 PORQUE LAS RUEDAS DEL MEDIO NO TIENEN TRACCION PROPIA ;)
Have only been to Island for one week but gosh i like that land...(only land i now of that jailed some banksters) trying to figure out how to get there again with my crusa .. live in northern sweden and the ferry goes from Denmark must see if i can take it as deck cargo from some port in Norway..
Well damn, I would hope it'd be able to drive through a puddle and not get stuck in 2 inches of mud
да в самый раз по лужам кататься
Severely! Wheels R16?
Spectacular!
Hi, great video. As someone is asking for info on this kind of travelling. I am happy to oblige. I live in Iceland, this is the sort of travelling I do within Iceland. There are rentals available where you can get slightly smaller cars for this sort of driving, Arctic Trucks for example. But I highly recommend that those without experience for this kind of driving contact companies that offer tours with the driver included. Mountain-Taxi or similar companies. The roads are usually marked as "Impassable" "Ófært" during the winter time, meaning that regular vehicles are not suited for driving further on the road. NOTE; The only car I would trust to go further on the road, is a fully modified 4x4, 38" tires minimum, with lower diffs and lockers and such and such. No stock 4x4 car can handle this kind of terrain. When on frozen ground with snow, then you can start to drive truly off road. If the ground is thawing out or is not frozen, please stay on the road, the soil and foilage is very fragile and does not recover so easily this far north in the world. If the road is marked as "Closed", "Lokað", then it is usually in late spring or early summer. This is because the spring and summer thaw is happening and the roads are truly dangerous and if driven on, it could lead to damaging the soil for decades. The rivers can rise suddenly and become uncrossable for most cars, The rivers and creeks can also rise and flood the roads quite suddenly and without warning. The soil underneath the road is also sand and gravel, which means it can absorb only so much water until it becomes unstable. Driving on roads in that condition can be dangerous and ruin the path of the road, water can begin to flow on the road in the tire track that the car leaves behind and that water can act as a knife into the road creating a large gap there. This can also happen during early winter or late fall, when the season is changing. The vast majority of the cars we use for offroading are privately owned and a large group of motor enthusiasts inhabit my small island. Me and my father drive a 44" tire Toyota Tacoma which has been seriously and carefully modified to handle this kind of terrain. If you are intent on trying this out, take your first step within an experienced group. The weather in Iceland can change from great to bad in only a few minutes. During winter, it can change from "Great" to "Not knowing which way to lean into the wind because it is blowing from all directions".And "I'm too scared to go out to take a piss because my dick would fall off in the freezing cold". Pray those weathers never join into one blizzard. The weather is especially shifty during winter in the interior of Iceland. This being said, please come again to my beautiful country during winter, it can be breathtakingly beautiful or it can literally take your breath away forever. Just take all necessary precautions... Best regards, Andri Freyr
Beautiful country and truck. I'd love to go to Iceland and drive this around for a week or so and explore.
lastima por esa toyota
stop screwing around with stupid useless fat tires.....put a track conversion on it....will go just about anywhere then
Tires like these have a contact patch rivaling track kits when aired all the way down to 1 or 2 psi. Tires also mean that the truck is road legal and only needs airing back up in a few minutes with an onboard compressor when off the snow. Tires also mean a higher top speed, increased ride comfort and are much cheaper and easier to replace/repair if they fail 500 kilometers from civilization.
Ya those wide tires don't do so good get like 35 inch bloggers or better off-road tire but those tires suck.
Travis Travis You clearly know more about tires than the people who made this car....
I do
Or 40 or bigger bogger
was a nice trip that day :D fun that we ran into you guys there :) us in the red golf followed u for a while :P
