In this video we are testing charging speed and range for a Chinese EV brand Zeekr001
Thx for the range test :-) So, if you drive with an average speed of 90 km/h you can get a max. range of 500 km real world range (@ 25°C / dry weather) :-). That's quite good. I hope Zeekr also optimized the range for cold weather conditions.
anything below 90KW/H would extend the range to 500kw easy specially when you have perfect conditions in term of weather , i assume these cars optimized for could weather since they were designed in Sweden since geely still owns some Volvo facilities in europ
Thank you for that test! How would you compare the 007 to the 001 & Tesla M3 in terms of ride quality/dampers and cabin noise?
for the 001 is in a different level in term of comfort and cabin noise compared to the Model 3 , but the 007 is not far away from the 001 in term of ride quality and cabin noise is as quite as the 001 . so would say both zeekrs have a really good ride quality compared to the Tesla Model 3 and they have have a way mode feature and tech from factory , the only pros with Model 3 is its handling around corners due to its smaller size and lighter compared to the zeekr

there are almost no such true videos about the driving ranges from full till 0 of Zeekr 001 rest. in ideal conditions your probable range might be up to 500 km

I have same car but 2022 version. I get around 18-19 on highway but I drive fast -125 on autopilot. At 90-100 I’m getting 16-17 easily.
Where are you located , if you are using AC all time that’s about tight , but without AC you should see better average consumption
why is the car so heavy?
Battery is one think , but also the size of the car and material used matter , this can is almost 5 meter long and 2 meters wide

These are impressive charging speeds. I wish we have more data on battery longevity (not that I doubt they will last, but I like to have the data and compare with your typical NCA Tesla battery degradation).
true not enough data since these cars are not that old , but i can tell you something that might help , the dealer for Zeekr here offer a lifetime warranty on both battery and electric motors , for the battery anytime the capacity goes below 75 % they will replace it with a brand new one free of charge , and that lifetime warranty , this is on the purchase contract , so this tells me something about the quality of the battery and here is another short video I did few days ago showing the full charging speed when using a dedicated Zeekr supercharger : th-cam.com/video/jcJr21htQIs/w-d-xo.html

The battery capacity is measured in KWh !!! The charging power is expressed in: KW !!! So ... the correct exprimation is: 323 KW charging power NOT 323 kw/h

this is a bad tesst as you rarely reach 120 km/h. instead you keep cruising mostly on the 92ish km/h, the same speed we drive here in country roads.
you cant say that as i was following the speed limits on best on laws and regulation here and you cant say i wasn't reaching 120km/h since the video in only 13 minutes and i was driving for 5 hours , half my trip was driven between 110km/h and 120km/h , and the second halt was between 80 km (within the tunnels are the speed limit requires ) and 100km/h following the speed limits , I'm posting real world test best on my trip ,. its more accurate than any CLTC numbers you will find our there

Yes its the dual motor with 778hp , to be honest never drove the car before 10% , but based on the consumption I'm seeing , is you drive from 100% down to 0 % i would say 575kw of range

i would say a decrease of 5 to 8 % , we cant drive at 140km the max limit here is 120 km/h , but i understand that some countries in Europe the limit can go to 130km/h
@@EVExposed exactly... and with 130 you can go a little over without getting a ticket (at least in most countries). When you are in Germany it's fun to test the max speed of your car but then your range is dropping like crazy
@@EVExposedexactly, for me in France, I’m usually drive near 140/145km/h btw, I love this car so much and can’t wait to buy one here in France… but when? And what generation? It seems to be the 2023 version… 😢
Just a suggestion - when doing a range test you should drive a loop, finding somewhere halfway to turn around and then ending where you started. This eliminates elevation differences and mitigates some other factors like wind and temperature.

So even the 2024 model doesn't have English? Incredible, so much advanced tech on this car and yet they can't do something as simple as changing the language settings. Great efficiency and charging speed though.
Actually they do have English and Russian language , but they only provide it for car they export outside of China , and since I’m located in China and I do speak the language , so I didn’t bother much to ask for the English version , but you are right , it should be available and able to change it on a click just like the other brands , but I’m sure I will update the firmware soon to include that
@@EVExposed Actually there are some third party providers of this function in China, not just for Zeekr but other brands as well. They can install English or any other language, but I’m not sure how this may affect the warranty.

Ive done over the last 6500km with summer tyres in the 2023 001 privilege 22kwh on an average.
believe me I'm already passed the 7k mark in two months and I'm well below 20kw average even with all testing , i think the new facelift 2024 is more efficient and has more power , also running on the 21" tires

What was the average speed, what is the height difference between starting point and finish point.
average speed was about 100 km/h , i was just following the speed limit on my way , half was 120 speed limit and the other half was 100 , and need to reduce speed below 90 km inside the tunnels , for the altitude i started at was around 90 m above sea level and my final destination was 108 m , so not much of a difference , but on the way i went through a lot of mountain ranges and with a lot ups and downs , but its not really important since the start and the end point were almost at the same altitude

true , but i wanted to have a base line for other cars that i will test in the future , i will definitely test the zeekr 001 in a proper racing circuit since its my own and i will definitely post a video on that

Yes we are planing to test both , the X9 is still new so hard to get hand on , but we will definitely test them , stay tuned

Amazing charging curve! The consumption is a bit high though... does the car plan your charging stops and charging times like a Tesla does?
Yes a bit high due to the weather conditions , on a normal conditions the consumption is around 19kwh/100kw on highway and 15kwh/100kw when driving in the city . and yes the navigation will plan your stops for charging and give you the remaining battery level for each next charger and its very accurate within 1% margin

the car i have is the ME version that comes with 100KWh battery and its Ternary lithium
Current car in Europe is not the same. Definitely waiting for the newer version to come. And Zeekr is not in France yet anyway ... oh, by the way, for charging speed it's kW (power), not kWh (energy).
you can still consider getting it Directly from China they cost a lot less even considering exporting fees and transportation , i think EU now imposes a tax of 38% for Chinese EV's but i think its only applicable to a certain brands such as BYD
@@EVExposed The taxes are still only 10%. The additional 19.9% tax for Geely vehicles (making it 29.9%) will start (if they don't backpedal) in 2-3 months if I'm not mistaken. I have already bought a Smart #3 this year to replace my 11 year old petrol car (kind of identical to Zeekr X). I'm interested in Zeekr for the future when we'll replace my wife's car (Renault Zoe). Hopefully the Zeekr X with upgraded battery and burgundy interior color which looks gorgeous (currently not available in Europe).

The charging is crazy fast🎉 Very nice car. I‘m from germany and i wait for the 800 Volt Version. We can only order the old one with 400 Volt for now.😢
