    2.5 minutes to get to the actual review. Camera was a mile away. Could barely see the product, alone of the features up close. Lousy review. If you do a review, be serious about it. This was a real clown show. It was pathetic.

    I really like my Helikon-Tex Swagman Roll. I am using it alot, and seeing how I can use it with other gear. Both over it, Pancho or under it for extreme weather conditions

    Close down the dampers (air intake and flue pipe) when the pipe gets too hot, it will slow down combustion.

    😅😂 quick and easy like my ex I spit my coffee out laughing at that 😂 greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪 funniest review ever!! I used one last week as a hammock under quilt in 0 C (32F) and it worked brilliantly, except my feet end catching the freezing wind ,my fault for not tying up my tarp ends . Great bit of kit to have though 👌🏕️🔥 all the best 👍🇮🇪🍀

    I'm hoping Santa brings this! Great point about the "Y" pole. I saw another reviewer who hung this from a tree and didn't need the pole - genius! But I guess large, sweeping oaks are far and few between in your neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this tent. Can't wait for Christmas morning!!!

    It's OK. Blade needs to be minimum of 6 inches. They're going to hear this and make a longer one, so I'd you want this and will be pissed when they put out the better one, just wait. They ALMOST mailed this. Longer blade, rubberized grip. Swedge 2

    Thanks for the review. Even without the stove it'll be a LOT nicer in cold weather than a 3-season tent. All of my camping is in colder weather and this looks perfect. I'll be opting for the mesh inner if I get this one, though.

    Even 8cr13mov will take a long time to dull out from buttoning..I use a schrade schf45 Leroy to make kindling for my fireplace after a full winter I had some chips and rolls but it still cuts paper and the camp 10 you have with 65mn tool steel would last even longer..

  • @crabtrap

    Thx for realizing the back isnt a 'file' or saw. I find this knife to be a great car rescue tool. No point to accidently stab a motorist i extraction. Knife smashes out window with ease. And cab cut seat belt w/o stab risk. Also a great survival tool for firebuilding. I even use it for cooking clever work. For $10 wtf!

    Just picked up two at home depot... much heavier than expected, if it was 7-8" on the blade with a TPE overmoulded "shock reducing" handle instead of the hard plastic one, it would be perfect

    • @oldguysoutdoorreview7444

    • @MI_Prepper
      @MI_Prepper ปีที่แล้ว

      @oldguysoutdoorreview7444 Yup! The Schrade Froe was awesome once you beefed up the handle with more cushion. Used to be like $27. Sadly, it is no longer made. The "rasp" texture on the top of this one really works to keep the baton from sliding and has other uses as a rasp.

      For a separate purchase, you can insert a bug net. If you check out the unboxing video, we show the insert. The only negative thing with the insert is that you cannot use the stove. Buggy month are typically warmer months anyway. The insert also has a pretty tall "pan" that would keep rain splatter from soaking your gear. Let us know if you have more questions on this tent. We will be glad to get you answers to those questions. Stay tuned, we are getting ready to film the Rock Fortress from One Tigris. There may be some options you will like :)

    Look at a Murchison River Swag from Australia. Built to last a generation or longer, can be bought with a luxury mattress. Roll out on a cot for easier old guy access(I'm 61). Not cheap or light, but if comfort is a priority along with ease of use it's hard to beat. The Australians have us beat when it comes to camping with the exception of super light gear. Speaking of which, if you want a spacious, waterproof, very breathable(virtually no condensation) bivy check out the Mountain Laurel Designs eVent Soul Bivy. The best alternative to the swag above we have in the States. Not cheap, but you'll be more comfortable than in those can't sit up tents.
