Hermaeus Mora - Edit
"I am the mystery at the end of existence. The first secret whispered at the dawn of creation. I am the guardian of the unseen and the question unanswerable. I hold the knowledge forbidden and untangle the threads of fate." -Hermaeus Mora
Hermaeus Mora, also known as "Hoermius Mora" or simply "Mora," is the Daedric Prince of Knowledge and Memory
He is often depicted as a vast and unfathomable cosmic entity who seeks and hoards all knowledge, whether it pertains to the past, present, or future. Hermaeus Mora's realm is Apocrypha, an endless library filled with forbidden and hidden knowledge, manifesting as black books, scrolls, and labyrinthine archives.
Domains of Influence:
Knowledge and Memory: Hermaeus Mora’s primary sphere is knowledge, especially the most obscure and forbidden kinds. He gathers knowledge indiscriminately, including that which mortals were never meant to understand. His desire to know everything leads him to guide mortals towards hidden truths-although this guidance is often manipulative.
Fate and Destiny: He is sometimes associated with fate because of his ability to know future events. Mora does not merely collect knowledge but also holds secrets that can shape the destinies of individuals and entire civilizations.
Curiosity and Obsession: Mora represents the dangerous side of intellectual curiosity-the obsessive pursuit of knowledge at any cost. He is often portrayed as a being who tempts mortals with forbidden wisdom, which can corrupt or destroy them.
Apocrypha: His Realm
Hermaeus Mora’s plane of Oblivion, Apocrypha, is a shifting, eerie realm that resembles a vast, alien library. Mortals who venture there are greeted with:
Endless corridors lined with black, rotting books.
Murky, ink-like seas.
Lurkers and Seekers, monstrous creatures that protect the realm’s knowledge.
Apocrypha is a realm of hidden truths, where the price of learning is often one's soul or sanity. Mortals who try to steal knowledge from Apocrypha may find themselves trapped forever in its twisting halls.
Depiction and Appearance
Hermaeus Mora’s appearance is ever-shifting and alien. He is often depicted as:
A mass of floating tentacles with several floating eyes, suggesting his connection to Lovecraftian horror and cosmic knowledge.
He never fully reveals his form to mortals, only showing fragments of his incomprehensible being.
Interaction with Mortals
Hermaeus Mora frequently interacts with mortals who seek forbidden knowledge, and his influence can be both subtle and overt. Some of the ways Mora interacts with the world include:
Black Books: In Skyrim’s Dragonborn DLC, Mora’s Black Books serve as gateways to his realm. They allow those who read them to enter Apocrypha, granting them powerful insights and abilities-but often at a great cost.
Eldritch Tomes: He bestows powerful tomes that contain knowledge of great power, though these gifts are often double-edged.
Servants and Worshipers: Mora’s followers tend to be scholars, mages, or those obsessed with forbidden knowledge. His daedric servants include Lurkers and Seekers, twisted creatures of Apocrypha, as well as mortals willing to serve him.
Hermaeus Mora’s goals are inscrutable and vast. He is driven by a hunger for knowledge, and his ultimate motivation is to possess every secret in existence. He is not necessarily evil, but his methods are often predatory and uncaring towards the consequences of knowledge in the hands of mortals. Mora has little interest in morality or politics; he exists beyond those concerns, focused solely on the pursuit and preservation of knowledge.
In Tamrielic cultures, Mora is often revered, feared, or outright rejected:
The Dunmer list him as one of the four "bad Daedra" (alongside Molag Bal, Malacath, and Mehrunes Dagon), due to his predatory nature towards mortals and obsession with secrets.
The Imperial Cult refers to him as one of the "Four Corners of the House of Troubles."
Altmer and Bosmer view him as an entity tied to the Old Ways, particularly when it comes to fate, the past, and the role of mortals within the universe.
Hermaeus Mora’s influence is subtle yet profound, touching every corner of Tamriel through the dissemination of knowledge and temptation. He remains one of the most enigmatic and unpredictable Daedric Princes

we need more builds man, keep doing this great project, i love this, thanks for all u do here
Hey man, love u content, its really cool, can I request a build??, I have some disability and for love this game I play one bar builds, this build, can I turn that on one bar build dps? U can help me with? Or the old build Magicka NB - Ebonshadow, I appreciate all u do, its really really cool
Looks utterly awesome for the Necro theme, but I would highly suggest a Lightning staff for the 12% damage buff to your direct damage attacks. I understand Inferno staves will buff Dot damage, but I have found the trade off in DPS is by a lot. I would highly suggest to light attack and weave with your staff because this will increase your sustain and DPS by a lot. I have started really utilizing Deaden Pain on my Necro and I love it. Nice job though.
Mhh , so how does the infinite Ultimate work? Is it infinite while you are in the Vampire house ?
Aye, just in the vampire house
So you have somthing similar but with a way of doing some dps aswell?
lets see what we can do
I need to see a remake of this current patch as a more tankish style using the hand and visage of mephala with the soul burst aoe scribing pull to force enemies into you and you razor caltrops and spider aoe and doing damage for visage for more webs and the hand adding MORE webs when they hit you doing a shit ton of aoe dmg and movement slow making time a breeze in pve AND pvp as youbforce everything to sit in stupid for yourself and your allies also keeping them alive cause they cant be run down.......
What song is this?
th-cam.com/video/PirsknaTofU/w-d-xo.html
This is what MMO is all about! Please! more!!
What's the souvenir at the end of the video?
Anchorite's Carved Bone, a legendary reward momento from the Diamond Anniversary Crates ^^
That's the only thing a necromancer can do is pve. Useless in PVP.
Slap on the atronach stone, smoked bear i run personaly, but you can run other cheaper variants. tho i wouldnt miss out on the extra recovery and health. Rocking the vampire Rallying cry, obviously. i like to rock the login reward crown lethal poison. onehanded and shield. As a back bar per say. Front bar you want draugrkin or dragons apetite (But in apetite you want AT LEAST one bleed applying ability, heals nicely and has a similar buff to draugrkin, easier to obtain too) on a front bar. you can go whatever as your main weapon, but i like zappy staff. Balorgh monster set. you can maybe run bloodspawn, or Kjalnar's Nightmare, Heck you can even run Roksa the warped. a Trainee heavy chest. You want heavy headpiece, maybe a medium shoulderpiece for extra mobility and resources. and the rest you want light. For antiquity, you want Markyn Antiquity. i like to rock infused for more flat damage upfront rather than bloodthirsty. But pick your poison. another great mythic is the Saint and the Seducer (for the sheogorath vibe) or sea serpent mythic if you dont like being ganked out of nowhere, it will give you the window of opportunity
Another Fun way to build is either a troll tank or a bash tank. both fun, tho not that practical per say. The pure tanking troll surviving 90% of the encounters are simple. rock full heavy, Cyrodiil's crest set Battalion Defender Oakensoul Rock a skill that gives you major protection, slap on Defensive stance A bunch of heal dots. The Ghost skill that gives extra 10% damage reduc. and heck, you can even scribe the banner now to recieve 6% extra damage mitigation. and call it a day For the Bashing necro. YOu can still rock oakensoul. Veiled Heritance. rock a poison. preferebly Ward dragining poison IX. Pirate skeleton one piece. for the extra armor (or any set that gives extra armor on the one piece bonus). Deadlands Demolisher set. One golden rule is: Higher your resistance higher your bash damage, other than bash dmg enchant,cp. Pummeling Goliath Ultimate - bashing deals damage in a cone. tho The morph got changed that "While transformed your Bash attack now scales off your offensive stats" so keep that in mind when in the Goliath form. you can build around that too.
And the last one i can think of the top of my head would be a good ol. Healer with a bad timing. You want Kagrenac's Hope set (increases resurrection speed by 25%. You also want from the support skilline battle resurrection (increases res speed by 15-30%. You can also run Vastarie Tutelage which gives you and the ones you resurrect extra damage and some ability cost reduc. But you can also go as tanky as you can with kagrenacs set. up to you really. but the main thing is the ultimate which resurrects 3 allies. Reanimate. I personaly find renewing animation more useful if your resources could use a push. but putting a little pressure on enemies oyu can go with animate blastbones. tho i prefer the resources over the kaboom bones.
All in all. necromancer is still used in pvp. i cant call it 'useless' as it has its own quirks. Just give it a quick search and you will find builds as recent as two weeks ago.
😮😮
6:53 how do you get them much crystals to flow round you is that an affect from corpse buster?
The corpsebuster set only makes the Kaboom. the floating crystals are a momento from the Unfeathered crates named "Soul Crystals of the Returned"
I absolutely love these builds, I love the RP aspect. Keep em coming!!!
Nice video man just discovered you !
I love this
Good build ima go orc tho
Praise be to the Woodland Man 🙏👁🙏
Undoubtedly my favorite daedra. His aesthetic, his voice, his name all have an eerie feeling to them, making me want to learn more. All hail the Daedra of Knowledge and Memory
Fantastic
This is such an INSANELY good thematic build! You show you can have an awesome RP build & still play very effectively.
I love the improvement of the presentation I remember when I started watching your vids I was looking for an Alchemist build for Skyrim but I found your video for ESO instead lol great work
Best eso content out there! ❤❤❤
Can you please do an arcanist build
Arcanist you reckon eh? Ill see what i can do
@@thrones5459 Awesome! Can’t wait!
I am a pure PVP guy, but I am amazed at your character building ! Really nice enjoyable and thought out ! First time I get caught by a role-play video ! Congrats ! 👍
Great video and Rp build like always!
Great video, thanks!
Nightblade vampire please something for PVE
This is what i was looking for you goat keep it up rp builds that are usable are my favorite
Hey I dig the role play part of the game. I wish I could afford that horse.
This build actually kinda inspired me to make some more fun builds with a combo of procs & other stuff. Looks so cool!
If ESO had the skyrim engine I would play for 50.000 hours
fun build!
GREAT!!!!
OMG! IS THIS A WILD THRONES!? THE WAIFU STEALER! Stole my woman :')
Caught in the act! What can I say, there’s enough to go around!💀
Love your work sir
These kinds of builds are such a needed part of eso imo. I get tired of using ugly builds with skills and armor sets that have no kind of aesthetic synergy. It just makes the game ugly and prevents any kind of connection with created characters.
Massive fan of the build and the play style. Looking to become a werewolf myself (anyone biting?) plan on a Nord warden and love this play style. Play what you enjoy.
Looks incredible, it’s inspiring me to get building
Sorry this is soooo late, but I've recently discovered your channel (I love it!). I was wondering if you might have ideas about a Necromancer involving being a Werewolf, also. Similiar to what you did with the Warden and Dragonknight?
Can you make a dunmer azura worshipper build ❤️❤️
OMG I LOVEE YOUUUU 😍😍😍😍😍😍
OMG UR VOICE IS SOO HOT I LOVE YOUUU 😍😍😍😍😍
Love the videos Thrones!
Liking, commenting, and subscribing cause “whatever tickles your butthole” 😂
Love everything about this character
Showing numbers would be better and thanks
its a "Roleplaying" build, and its 'Not' for veteran trials or dungeons or whatever, and purely for 'questing and casual content'. All the choices for the build are purely visual that would fit a headcannon story. So, no numbers. If youre looking for a proper build with numbers, head to skinnycheeks, that guy has amazing, if not, the best builds out there for high content, Andd he has numbers. Cheers
Plague Singer would look so good on this guy I'm working on an open world pvp build that could fit this roleplay with jerall (spreading malady) and sheer venom for aoe dot xD I'll show you when it's finished ^^
Oh yes indeed. That one is in plan for one of the upcoming builds, in particular the skeevemaster build :3
Damn you're definitely back friend !
I love all your videos!
Wooo hoooo!! New video:)
