D Ring Hack For Adjustable Straps
มุมมอง 2172 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is how to thread your strap onto the D rings and to the bag. Adjustable strap is made using D rings only, no slider hardware required. I used a very short piece of webbing so I didn't have to waste time threading 54 inches through all the rings for the tutorial. www.WearArt.com
Make An Adjustable Strap With D Rings Without Buying Slider Hardware
มุมมอง 5632 หลายเดือนก่อน
D Ring Hack! You can make a strap that's adjustable if all you have are D rings! I'm sure there's a way to do it without any hardware at all, haven't figured that out yet. Probably some kind of macrame knot....knots they use with jewelry. No, I didn't come up with this idea myself, I've stood on the shoulders of giants thanks to youtube and I'm sharing it with you. If you need a video showing h...

Add Multiple Zipper Pulls At Same Time
มุมมอง 9243 หลายเดือนก่อน
You can save money on zippers if you buy it by the roll and add on the zipper pulls. If the zipper tape does not come with the sliders/pulls make sure you order the matching size. The trouble starts when all the parts are moving around! Here's how to prevent all that movement and make it a lot easier. In this video I'm adding several sliders and then I can cut the tape to whatever length I need...

How To Rethread A Zipper If The Slider Comes Off
มุมมอง 64 หลายเดือนก่อน
Tape down the pull and slider WRONG side up with curved end at the top. Hold zipper tapes wrong side up and close to end. Feed evenly and slowly into slider. If you want a two way zipper add another slider to opposite end. www.WearArt.com www.goofytipoftheday.com wearart.com/hpfp www.critterbags.com

Just what I needed! Thank you!
if it's attached (still sewn onto something) can you still do this?
Hi, I guess it depends on several things. Is it a jacket zipper that separates or a zipper that's in something like a purse? Are there any teeth missing and if so are they in the middle or close to end? Many videos on how to fix this out there. Good luck!
Thank you so much for your video !!!!it's been 3 hours and a lot of videos watched, your method worked for me the first time i tried !
You're welcome. As long as everything is stabilized it will work.
Xke' non parlano italiano?
I think you are asking if I speak Italian. I am sorry I do not but you can just watch the video and it should help you. #1 slide on the zipper pull onto the fork. The pull should be upside down. #2 tape down the fork. #3 guide the zipper tape through the zipper pull. The zipper should be upside down too! Hold the teeth not the soft part. I hope this translates well.
Amazing ..the angle is the perfect thing ..thanks 4 sharing.
Thank you!!! I bought a boat load of zipper tape and have been fighting with it for a month. Your method works. and, it is easy.
cool .. do you add anything to keep the strap in place when you make it short or does the strap just flop around
My apologies, I only made the tutorial for showing how to make the slider out of the d rings. I made a better one today to explain it better. That strap does not flop around, it gets attached to your bag hardware. Here is the better explanation: th-cam.com/video/Hl5IE9ssooI/w-d-xo.html
Save the background piece that was left behind to make a strap or whatever. The fabric you slide underneath will show through.
Hope you can save some money with this method!
I will definitely try this today. I have tried a couple of others with so-so results, plus a lot of cussing. I wished I had three hands, but now I think this is my solution. Thank you so much!!
You're welcome. The trouble starts when all the parts are able to move. I added an update showing how to add a bunch of sliders and how to do a two way zipper too. th-cam.com/video/Bvlt_Macg8w/w-d-xo.html
Fantastic. My zipper tape order comes today and it will be my first time ever working with it. Your video came at just the right time 🥰
I made another video showing how to add many sliders at same time including how to do a two way zipper. th-cam.com/video/Bvlt_Macg8w/w-d-xo.html

Thanks😊
Oh, this is great, do you have any advice for putting the zipper back on with existing garments? They didn’t have this little bulb end at the bottom that’s hard to thread through.
I think you have to make sure none of the zipper teeth are missing first to see if that's why the slider came off in the first place. If no teeth are missing then watch some videos on reattaching a slider. I watched one last night, looks like the guy pried open the sides, poked the two zipper sides back in then squeezed the slider back together again. Might be easier to take to a dry cleaner who does repairs. Good luck!
