    What did you spray on to clean the roof

    • @CluckingCraftsman
      @CluckingCraftsman 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Bleach solution. Usually I do 100% bleach in my sprayer if the surface is wet already. If the surface isn’t wet I will do 75% bleach. You can use less bleach but just have to let it sit longer

    Nice demo, the 410's instruction book from dewalt (or the pdf) shows a chart for how many expansions per fitting per size. the 1-1/2" wants 8-9. Thanks for pointing out the tool getting hot easily, if tools overheat it doesn't matter how good they are until then...Apparently the 400's 1 inch head on the 410 requires 20 expansions! while the 410's new 1" head says 7-8. Like you said in part 1 "Ain't nobody got time for that". Mine was supposed to come today but got delayed another week. RIP to your youtube budget on that pex, I went straight past budget to straight up hiding my cards in a drawer. When I see something broken my hands scream "FIX IT!"

    • @CluckingCraftsman
      @CluckingCraftsman 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haha oh man. I had no idea there were specs on that. Should have known. 20 is insane. I would wonder what it matters? That may be another test. I don’t know why you would need to expand it more as long as you can get the fitting seated properly before it contracts. But yea, end of the day, time is money, if I was doing all 1/2” or 3/4” the 410 probably isn’t worth it.

    • @TOOL_TECHNICAL
      @TOOL_TECHNICAL 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @CluckingCraftsman I linked the dce410s manual pdf but youtube deleted my comment. On page 12 it has that chart for what DeWalt believes to yield the ideal amount of expansions for connections

    • @CluckingCraftsman
      @CluckingCraftsman 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Weird. I will look it up. I never get why it deletes some links automatically.

    • @CluckingCraftsman
      @CluckingCraftsman 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So I see it says don’t expand more times than necessary but don’t see anything about it warning if you don’t expand enough, besides not seating enough. Makes me think there is no minimum as long as it seats all the way.

    Good stuff dude, perfect time to upload this. there are zero videos about the dce 410 let alone vs its brushed little brother. next compare it to the m12 fuel expander if you have it or can borrow one. I was just about to buy the dce 410. to be clear the newer brushless model is rated up to 1-1/2" so they gave it a slower stronger motor lol. also side question, if you have 1-1/4 or 1-1/2" heads do they use the same threads as the brushed dce400? I heard people say the milwaukee and dewalt heads are interchangeable. I know bigger sizes may stress the motor a bit but buying a whole second tool just for one or two sizes seems silly when the m18 is 1000 and the m18 fuel is 1800

    • @CluckingCraftsman
      @CluckingCraftsman 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have the 1 1/2” head and will put a video up of it. And actually I can get the smaller brushed one again and try to put it on to see what it will do. I don’t have access to the m12 anymore, from what I remember it had decent power for the size. But probably wouldn’t be able to do over 3/4”. The Dewalt 400 struggles with 3/4” so it will be great to see it try 1 1/2” haha But yea it definitely feels stronger. Just assumed it would be the same speed. But yea they are the same heads for the Dewalt

    • @TOOL_TECHNICAL
      @TOOL_TECHNICAL 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CluckingCraftsman when you say struggles with 3/4" did you mean the new dce 410 ? Right now it's on sale bare tool for 390 on amazon gonna grab one and give it a chance worst case i'll go milwaukee lol. The face you made seeing the newer model lose was priceless like "really?" 2:43 th-cam.com/video/TNvH46xpbYo/w-d-xo.html that video at 6:00 starts this tools demo and shows it easily going through 1". I know they sometimes sneak in an over engineered version for ads then the ones we get are not as good but the gap in performance is weird. Note they did use a powerstack

    • @CluckingCraftsman
      @CluckingCraftsman 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The original 400 in my opinion struggles with 3/4” with anything other than a large battery. Yea I was surprised to say the least. Haha I will try the 1 1/2” and see what happens. The head looks laughably large, it’s a big pipe haha.

      My friend has a lower model from a few years back and still loves it. I have not used many other brands so I can’t compare if it would be better or worse. I like mine and I appreciate they are made in the US, they seem well made and stout, only thing I don’t like about mine is the tires but that’s nitpicking. Look for sales. Tractor Supply will have a few hundred off every now and then and I think my local dealer matched the price.

    • @CluckingCraftsman
      @CluckingCraftsman 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Could be a switch if it’s a three way (two switches operating one light). But it’s always easier to check breakers. Also lights are usually wired together, depending on the year the house was built, you could have that light tied to multiple room lights or even outlets.

      I got the Koehler just because it had been out longer and I figured it had more kinks figured out. It has held up well, had couple seat bolts fall out somehow. Went to the dealer and they scratched their head on how that would happen but just gave me replacements and extras. I put them in with loctite and not a problem since.
