Ii have one of the earlier versions. I find you really need to have the muzzle within a foot of a house fly to get a certain kill. With blowfllies you either need to fix bayonets or hit the wee bastard with the gun! Maybe Aussie flies are built different!

Awesome review. The conclusion about 3.5's more power is great. Still, my 3.0 doesn't damage furniture or plaster. I even shot myself to know how hard it hits. Is there a danger of the 3.5 damaging surfaces? Cheers!

This video went in to waaay too much detail. I've seen reviews on real guns that were less tedius than this. Just show the thing in action. We don't need all the needless detail on a plastic gun that shoots salt three feet.

I use a spray bottle with dish soap and water. That works really well and it’s cheaper than a bug assault. Plus you choose between shoot gun, (spray mist) or rifle (stream). Lol.

I'm trying out " bug a salt, High performance salt. From bug a salt. They Say it's like the difference between birdshot and buckshot. How about barrel extensions?

TIP for you if you like me have trouble wen salt clocs up at times. I put in one of those little pouches that you often find in medicin bottles that suckes moist in. And since i never had the isseu of salt cloching up and the salt not being despenced correctly.

The shredder is the most powerful, and nothing can survive. Any bug will be shredded. What’s nice co2 in the shredder is very dangerous but it is absolutely powerful. The shredder will kill any bug . This cocking gun stuff is not going to kill wasps. Flies small insects. The shredder is the best most powerful.

I have all of the models. I love blasting bugs. But, after receiving the cO2 pistol there’s no going back. It disintegrates wasps.

The latch on the salt cap broke on my 3.0. Was quite surprised at how much a new one was going to cost.

I had a version 1.0 which worked well on flies but I wanted something that would work on wood boring bees so I got the version 2.0 because it was supposed to be stronger. It was but didn't work as well because it was so strong it fractured the salt into salt dust when it shot and that was even less effective that version 1.0 I'm wondering if anyone else noticed this and if this problme has been resolved on the later versions.

Protip: hot glue the safety in the "hot" position and never have to think about it again. Note can only claim firsthand knowledge that this works on my still-working first gen model, but it should be easy enough to check on later versions.
