The fix. Drain and flush cooling system with pure water. Replace heater core, use oat type antifreeze and install inline a cooling system filter. Problem solved.

I changed this in my 05....jacked and blocked, but didn't require removing tire. Failed early (under 100k mi). And all those springs can fall out, so taking it apart should be done on a table , like you did.

Had the same problem on my grandpas 05 Prius something about those clips doesn’t allow aftermarket taillights to pop all the way in. I think it’s with all the brands

there is a way to do it without removing antifreeze, oil floats on anti freeze so if you drain your oil, remove the part, and wet vac the area until your coolant is clean your good

We were told by the mechanic that the cd drive was broken (it wouldn't open), so before the lcd broke we weren't using the player. Your video showed how to open it (after, embarrassingly, 10 years).

We just disconnected the HV orange main plug, without disconnecting the 12v... so what damage did we do because of that if at all??

Roscoe always great explanations. I bought 2 on walmarts clearance aisle. Unopened. No matter how far i turn valve either way water is coming out at the top where u turn it in. Oring and lock washer are correct on all 4. Water pressure is definitely strong but wont push the bidet head out at all. I put they attachment in and turn til it clicks in place. The locking ring and the little knobs that clicked in wont allow it to go any further in. It's like the oring isnt sealing at all

These transmissions all have a cooler that needs to be bypassed per the Toyota procedure. The thermostat is located in the front under the plastic cover just left of the radiator petcock. I was able to access it without taking off the plastic cover. You just take a screwdriver and depress the plunger and hold it in place by taking a .5mm Allen wrench and placing it in the hole that is there to hold the plunger in place. Then you can drain and refill per the temp range of 95-113 F.
