POV DRIVE IN A 470BHP BMW M240i (Raw B58 Sounds)
มุมมอง 1.1K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
Come along with me for a POV drive in a 470BHP BMW M240i. The B58 in this car sounds sweet thanks to the aftermarket exhaust! The car has been mapped with an MHD and drives really nicely. Check out my full review of this car here; th-cam.com/video/evrsiRXuE3g/w-d-xo.html ⬇️ Follow Me Here ⬇️ Instagram: sven.grube TikTok: www.tiktok.com/@svengrube?lang=en ⬇️ Follow Luke Here ⬇️ In...
Why You Shouldn’t Buy a Supercar
มุมมอง 1.3K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
Welcome to the review of this supercar killing 470bhp BMW M240i. There has been so much hype around these cars in recent times due to their standard performance but also how tunable they are. I was blown away by it's performance, but also how well it handled considering that itm isnt a full fat 'M' car. ⬇️ Follow Me Here ⬇️ Instagram: sven.grube TikTok: www.tiktok.com/@svengrube?...

Great video 👌
@@ethanryan5299 There’s a lot more to come on the M3👀
5 people 6 hours to change an exhaust…. Mat Armstrong would be proud

Amazing car, reliable. Cheap. I have usual 1.0L version, 167 000km on the odo, but with AC, electrical windows, central remote locking and rear disc brakes (bought for $1500).

Haha, I was here in this video. Do you remember the 2020 Grey Honda Civic Type R that broke down. I am the drivers son! LOL. We was on holiday and all your crew helped push it.
I've had mine since 2021. From the factory the chassis is a bit average. It has the short wheelbase and light weight, but soft lacklustre suspension heavily biased to understeer. Sort it out with a rear anti-roll-bar, axle bushes and lowering and suddenly it all clicks. I don't have the greatest car experience, but you can *place it*, on the road like nothing I've ever driven. They're not fast, but my god are they agile. Mine has a custom intake setup that dynoed at 128hp, really opens the top end up 😁 They're really not a hot hatch though - more of a warm hatch that was so brilliant it frequently gets compared to contemporary hot hatches. It gets 50mpg on a run and comes within a whisker of an ST150 in a sprint to 60.

Yessir!!!
You can make these better than an M2 for 6k less than an M2, totally get the appeal for these. LSD, Coilovers, exhaust and a reputable tune and they're sound cars (When they don't misfire)
No you can’t. Had all the mods in my M140i. Engine, sound and gearbox were awesome, but not chassis and handling. despite all mods. M2 has different steering with much more feel, wider track and space for big tires because of flared arches, different subframe without bushings, different control arms, different anti roll bars, carbon strut brace etc. If you change all that in you F2x M40i you end up way more expensive and resale value ist also worse compared to a M2. Still great cars and I love the B58 more than the S55, but if it’s handling you want: Go for M
This road you take these cars on looks so good to rip about on!
Very great job man! Did you try fixing a camera on the pedalbox to film your footwork for this car? :)
Jabba the hut weighs 1358kg
Its not light despite being light by today's standard
$4000 in Canada.
It comes with oil leak lol
The m235i was turbocharged too
Agree but I wish it wasn’t another BMW. It really doesn’t stand out. Personally would choose a Guila or a supra
Nice car..awful stickers
Definitely a supercar killer not sure about C1 gapper though…..
Please tell me about the shoot location 😢😢
I've always had a soft spot for these
Where are these roads?
I’d say the best value Hot Hatch was the Saxo VTR me and my friend got for £400 haha! Was a fun little car that!
Just sold my mini one. Slow yes, heavy yes, fun yes😂made myself a local enemy in the form of a Focus ST with a bad driver behind its wheel in the trusty Mini. He'd be understeering and i'd be foot flat through the bends getting 1 wheel up. Its suprising what stupidity and the urge to win can cause.. he re overtook me like a missile 2 seconds later caught a tank slapper clipped me so I ripped the fun lever spun it and bent the back axle in a pothole😂gotta love the welsh mountain roads🫶🏼im sure the new owner is happy ive had no complaints😂great content mate and its in Wales🏴
I raise you one Swift Sport
Lupo GTi would be another great one like this. Except it's 950kg and 125hp
@@agondard12 Definitely!
Nearly 10k to buy one though
@@luk3_86 believe it or not i got one in Ireland for 3k 🤣🤣 they go for at least 8k here and there's never even any for sale 95% of the time
@@agondard12 yeah they are stupid money now might aswell get a swift sport or yaris tsport for the money tbh but they are great cars
I had a Honda Jazz 2015 1.3l as my first car and it also had 100 bhp. It was a reasonably fun car to drive, especially revving the engine out as that's where it made most of its power. The ride was a bit firm, but it handled well. Insurance was super cheap too and i got 55mpg on the motorway. Ended up upgrading a to a Golf GTI which of course was way better but still like the honda jazz for what it was.
ep3 or t sport? which ones worth it
Ep3 miles better car in every way. They aren’t even really comparable
More hot hatch reviews please
“Toyota Vitz”
What about 1996-2000 motsubishi colt? There is the mirage version with a turbo and 160hp
There are better cars with p/w ratio, I have a suzuki swift/forsa GTi MK2 93' and it has 121whp and weighs only 760kg. Its a hella fun car
Exactly why I love my lil civic coupe
At your age you'll have more fun driving something like that at the limit, than an expensive sports car your scared to crash
nice
Good pick,Makes me sad a few years back you could get a type R ep3 for a few grand
Lift off oversteer is a rather prominent danger on these models. I have driven many hatchbacks, but this platform is the only one that loves throwing it's back around. Had it happen on two different models, despite not driving agressively.
You can make these hot hatches drive lile go karts they are quite fun but youre not beating any sports cars dont get it wrong
Power to weight is key
Twingo Rs
Wrong, Yaris T Sport is too expensive now. Colt CZT/Ralliart is the true answer. 150bhp stock 1070kg. Mine was 230bhp.
That's not the price anywhere, plus no environmental sticker means not being drivable everyday or anywhere. But yes its a cool car, expensive though not 1000 money at all. More likely 5 to 8 grand easy.
@@danigonzalez4299 You can easily pick one up for that. We included a screenshot of one for sale!
@@svengrube1 not here in Spain. Believe me, the cheapest is 5K. You guys in the UK live in a parallel reality
Only Yaris thats a hot hatch & it definitely is the fantastic GR Yaris 4 WD beast with 260+ bhp or the latest with 280bhp. Would love 1 at sometime maybe afternoon my leon Cupra 280.
Im sorry but a car with 105 bhp can never be a hot hatch , they are a warm hatch . Nothing wrong with the T-sport yaris as a car though.
Oy! Ya cheeky little monkey! This gouty pensioner (nearly, only a year from retirement) drives a modified, lowered, supercharged mini! 😅
Suzuki swift sport
LOL sadly in quebec, Canada...... we got the phase 2 car with phase 1 interior only engine available the 1NZFE 1.5....... BUT ! these go for 3 to 5000 $ here
07 mazda2 sports better than the yaris looks better handle better n its faster
