When I was a kid, I saw Return of Swamp Thing before I saw the first one. I admit, I didn't appreciate the first movie back then, but I sure do appreciate it now. It's a classic!

This movie disappointed me. It was as if it couldn't decide if it was a found footage film (which would have been better), or just a regular movie. It would have been so much better if they had left it as a found footage film. Nothing really scary about it, and the end was pretty dumb.

I was always a huge Stephen King fan. Loved his books. But this movie made absolutely zero sense. No surprise that he was strung out the whole time!

I keep saying I'm going to get around to watching this, but I keep putting it off. Primarily because podcasts and friends that I respect who've watched it say the same things you've said - at best, it's just "meh" at best. Maybe I'll get to it someday, but don't see myself going out of my way for it. And yes - I had a 6 CD changer in my trunk once upon a time too!! LOL

Another fantastic podcast on a "classic." I totally identified with the "did yours have Ed Norton?" comment. Ultimately had to watch both, and The Prestige won out over The Illusionist in my opinion. @Ian, you brought a certain je ne sais quoi to TPTWDie, especially at 47:30 into it, when you explore the idea that the three parts of a magic act is a metaphor for film storyline structure. Nolan is, indeed, stunningly good at the multi-layer meta-level story telling. And thanks to @Erin for explaining to everyone why non-Wolverine Jackman is a dud. I get it now! LOL.

I remember when this came out and simply didn't look interesting to me in the ads. Now, thanks you guys, I'm gonna have to check it out!

The Unseen from 1980 is good. Mr. Frost with Jeff Goldblum is a good horror film.

Yay! Glad you guys watched this, when we did Candyman together, Erin said she wouldn't watch it because Bruce Campbell wasn't in it haha. We did a review on this as well and have our own thoughts, some similar some deferent, but none the less this was a Great episode guys!! PS ALWAYS WATCH WITH SUBTITLES ON, never know what you might miss hahaha 🤘

This movie was so bad I had completely forgotten about its so-called "plot". I agree Kevin - the only memorable things about it are some of the visuals. Other than that, it's dumb beyond dumb!! 🤣

Fun fact about the "zombies pouring over the wall like ants" scene in World War Z: it was actually a CGI glitch. But then the editors and producers thought it actually looked kinda cool and left it in. Then everyone started copying off of it. Great episode as always guys!
