Push dont pull. If that rope breaks you getting hurt bad.
@@SteveSutherland-n5l I pushed the last couple weekends. It works that way as well. I find it easier on the back to pull. Good point on the possibility of the rope break.
How deep were you fishing?
What is the part on the end of the 2x4 that hooks onto the tailgate
Something similar to this at Home Depot Simpson Strong-Tie 2 inch x 1-1/2 inch x 2-3/4 inch ZMAX Galvanized Angle
Make a pulley contraption and attach it to the front of the bed. A simple 2: 1 or 3:1 and you won't have to jump up and down .
@@toddw9518 Ha Ha. Great idea! I was thinking the same thing on the weekend as I was loading my sled! One of these days…
How long were those 2x4’s?
I made them the same length as my truck bed. That way they can fit straight in and you can close the tail gate. It doesn’t take up much room that way.
@ good idea! Thank you
Merry Christmas everyone!
Excellent! I love this! I am building one! thank you!
Glad to help, enjoy your build!
Sounds great gentlemen!
My favorite carol!
Nice harmony!
Nooooo dude that was an insane fish. I would be devastated 😭
UNBELIEVABLE !!!
The fishing rod made me laugh! “We’ll show Mom what we just got!” Aww! 😍😍😍
Spin casting is g^yyy
I was in waterton and spent a week trying to catch the sane brown triut that was over 10 pounds. It went after dozens of hooks but never bit. I even bought a fly fishing rod to try.
I’ve been back to Glenmore a couple times with no luck😊
How many lures did the pike cut the line on? Try 30lb floro leader or a steel leader you won't have so many bite-offs. I felt sick for your brown trout loss, need a new net guy lol.
Good idea on the leader material. Thanks for watching!
Cool your lucky
Very cool.lucky man
Mate, learn to kill your catch fast and don't let them die slow flapping around like you did. Not good fishing ethics.
Agreed 100%. The osprey was really REALLY cool though, thanks for sharing!
Hey. Point taken. Thanks for the comment.
@@MrZabbitzYou’re welcome. It surprised me for sure. Thanks for watching!
Bro what was the proper location if you can copy and paster the location in reply that will nice
Ahh you looking too poach again eh
@@albertapikewalleye6833 How do you even "poach" in the Glenmore unless you have that much luck and skill to catch more than 5 browns in one day lol you'd be lucky to land even one, any given day lol....and btw, whoever did that net job did the worst job ever sorry to be so honest.... that was a fish of a lifetime for some people.... I would be heartbroken too lol
@@albertapikewalleye6833 bro is bratty😂😂😂😂for sure
Oh no! That was a tank brown!!!! Even from the quick couple views of it I would say definitely over 30”. Some nice northerns as well, gave you a subscription 🤙😎
@@FishBigAlberta At least I got to enjoy the fight! Thanks for watching!!
Yes. Using the head strap. I’m still thinking about that brown trout! It was just over 30”. Scaled it on my blue beam program. You can keep 3 pike. You should try your kayak there.
You got a GoPro! Welcome to the club 😎 I like the footage - are you using a head strap mount? Too bad about the first one that got away, nice pikes though! How many can you keep here?
The best of the best!
I love this so much! You must have hired a professional photographer, eh? 😄
Really nice job Dan and the Barrettones + Shaun!! Sorry to have missed it because of work, but glad to see the performance on here 😃 I see you started on a C-I can move it a few steps higher if you need to next time, as I see there is a piano 🙃 haha just kidding…Which venue was this?
Ha ha. 😂 It was at MRU Leacock Theatre.
I just drove that road yesterday and was wondering how it looked in a fresh snowfall. Right on brother
My first time looking at real snowing 😊
Thanks for watching!
Like your video so much! keep going!!!
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Nicely done, I have never tried Spray for ice fishing, might give it a go next season
Nice work man, beautiful day on the lake 👌
Thanks for watching! It was a beautiful weather for sure. It can get pretty nasty out there.
You got one, and a new pb at that! Good work brother
that's a long trip! never ice fished there, hope the ice is still good for this weekend
Ha ha. Yes. Long drive! Thanks for watching! Be safe out there.
Nice video! How did you cut those mat with perfect holes?
Thanks! I drew out a 9” circle, 1” bigger than my 8” auger. That will give you room to run the auger through. I cut the mat with an olfa knife (razor blade knife). You can keep the circle cut outs to cover your hole outside when using jaw jacker. Keeps the hole from freezing up.
Awesome! What did you use for bait?
Thanks! Tipped my jigs with a piece of smelt.
What lake was that? Nice bull🎉
Thanks! It’s called Upper Kananaskis Lake. It’s in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park.
