I rejected a 6-FIGURE SEVERANCE PAY!
Why I Refused My Severance Pay 💸
Imagine this: your company offers you a fat severance package 🤑-enough to keep you comfortable for months (or longer). Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Well, I said no. 🙅♂️
In this video, I’m spilling the tea ☕ on why I walked away from what seemed like an easy win. From burnout 😓 to rediscovering my purpose ✨, I’ll share the highs, the lows, and the moment I decided to bet on myself.

How to pass a coding interview FAST [as a software engineer]
I think you made the right choice. Do what makes you happy!
Such a wonderful explanation Really appreciate it!
Glad I could help :)
I'm now in my final semester of college and I'm experiencing this dilemma, whether I want to be a software engineer or an ML engineer. There is too much learning provided on campus, the scope of IT is very broad and no one teaches where to focus. Then this video appeared, answering the dilemma I had been experiencing all this time. Thank You.
You're welcome :)
You went straight into the point ! Thanks man🙏🏻
Of course, no time wasted! ;)
Awesome bro
Thanks bro!
Great video. I've been studying data science for months and I really discouraged by the math. I love programming specially mobile application development. I think I need to go back to Mobile dev. What’s your opinion
@TheUser76576 Appreciate your honesty! If math is really draining your motivation and you find more joy in mobile app development, it might be worth shifting back. Loving what you do is key for long-term success. Plus, mobile development is thriving, so you’d still be on a solid path! Go where your passion leads you ;)
Hello is DSA preparation required for interview in data scientist? Great video by the way ❤️
@OmkarKambar-b8c Thanks for the love! ❤️ For data scientist roles, DSA (Data Structures & Algorithms) isn’t always a major focus like it is for software engineering roles, but having a good grasp can be helpful. Most interviews will emphasize statistics, machine learning concepts, and practical coding problems, but it never hurts to brush up on the basics of DSA, especially if you’re applying to tech giants. Good luck with your interviews ;) By the way, I have a video about how to "Prepare for coding interviews in 1 week" :P
I got a better grasp on what i want to do, thank you😁
Glad I could help. You’re welcome 😊
I want to switch career into IT so as a non IT person how can i really experience both fileds some practical so i can decide which career path should i take
Great question, Chintan! To explore both fields, try a simple data science project on Kaggle using Python and Jupyter Notebooks. For software engineering, build a basic project (like a calculator) on freeCodeCamp or with Python. This hands-on experience will help you decide which path suits you better. Good luck!
@ChintanGhava Great question! I'd try some hands-on projects in IT to get a real feel for it. Maybe start with basic coding or play around with cloud tech using free resources. See what clicks with you-sometimes, the practical experience makes your decision clearer! Good luck!
good guidance
Glad you liked it, Nitin :)
Great video!
Thanks ma man 😊
Great one mate, Can I have your instagram?
Too much editing
Ok, thanks for the feedback!
Does AI built by machines...?
Not yet, but soon ;) But if you're talking to an AI, you are talking to a machine.
@@alextech. If u are saying this you are not a engineer 🥱😅
Ok
Bad advice
Why do you think so?
@@alextech. best advice
Thanks ma man, Aryan 🫶
Nice editing.
Thanks Boss :)
Anyone can use AI but not everybody can code. Bullshit advice
But AI can code, and if everyone knows how to use AI, everybody can code
As I have shown in a simplified way in the video, not "anyone" can use AI to code. It's the combination that brings in the magic.
@julioparra1353 i dont think you understand. Just because you can google the math answer doesnt mean you are a mathematician. If you are looking for a job learn how to code properly yes you can ask ai to explain things but you cant just use AI to solve all your problems. You cant land a job that way
But this video was about the "best technology to learn in 2024" not about how to become a software engineer (see previous video). I would never recommend becoming a coder without learning how to code. I am currently preparing for coding interviews and will make a video about it soon :)
Thanks for the content
Sure :) Welcome to the channel where code never sleeps.
Hey Alex, me again. Great video (like usual) I really liked the intro. You did a great job on that! Maybe add some more B-roll to the rest of the video too? Might make it more engaging. I truly believe you will grow this channel really quickly if you post consistently. And I'll be here every step of the way. I'm proud of you! Keep on the good work! ~Luka

Thx for the feedback! I will work on that.
I started out with C# but Python is great too!
Thanks for sharing your experience! C# is great to start as well because the compiler is usually faster :)
But I do not think it is the appropriate language in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics Is it ?
When I programmed in AI, I always used Python. There are a lot of frameworks for Python and AI: Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch and scikit-learn.
Phyton... ja, it"s also very slow. C Languages FTW
Haha yes the slow interpreting is the biggest drawback of Python 😛
@@alextech. But i have to admit, Python has his use cases.
Great video, very clear, precise and useful. Thank you.
