What's this? A REMIX!? That's right! Alongside updating an old Phantasm cover to use my current sona, I've also gone & made this essentially my first ever remix! Sure it's not really-heavily changed like other remixes, but I still wanted to put a bit more effort into this because this cover-remix is quite special to me. I won't explain why but you can figure it out through the video ;) It doesn't reveal the full story, but you can get a good bit of it if you analyze it just a bit.
But yeah, I really hope you guys like this cuz I've been working on this for quite a while. While I wasn't really working on it actively, per say, this project has still been in the works for several months now. I'd say it's taken around as much work as Triple Faves did, which is saying smth given how much more experienced I am with this stuff. This likely won't be a common thing I'll do, but maybe every once in a while you guys will see remixes for other really special things :D

Friday Night Funkin' (often abbreviated to FNF) is an open-source rhythm game first released as a demo in 2020 for a game jam. The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., with the four founding members being the Newgrounds users Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s.
The game mainly revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of characters in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay revolves around hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.
