So you have 6 years of experience but you don’t even read the Enphase manual? They also have great customer service from Enphase 24/7 😊

When installing a costly 20kWh battery system, the first thing you should do is read the manual. Enphase warns you to install the batteries within time (minimum charge level) and how to put it in service and how to remove it from service. My complaint about Enphase is their exorbitant prices for 5P batteries. It’s not necessary to have costly micro’s inside a battery system.

Don't listen to this guy. Enphase batteries are the best in the world. His employee made an error that has nothing to do with Emphases quality and industry leading customer service.

You and your installer don't read the Manual and are not well trained

lol I’m not an installer and I even knew the switches were on the battery itself.

How long where the batteries off and why did he need to turn them off?

Read the Manual! 😂😂😂 Great Batteries. You get nice Support, but this was stupid. Do yourselfe a favour and use the Switch on the Battery

I own an SMA sunny boy 5000, the equipment is ok to use when you lose grid power during the day hours but what good it to me if if I can’t power anything during the night hours, the SPS is useless then.

I think its 1500 watts max. average lighting cir. Auto tranfers to battries 3k battries 8-10k 98% grid free.

We had a generator fire bought 9 years ago while these panels were standing. Panels didnt help

is possible to get more info or perhaps a DIY vid on this

I'm about to get one of these for the same reason you outlined. It's a nice middle ground between traditional grid-tied and a hybrid system with storage.
