it requires a larger intercooler as well as replacing the plastic charge/boost pipes with metal. I went with the FTP Motorsport pipes. You should also get a high flow Down Pipe. I personally went with a Wagner Catless DP as well as a larger competition Wagner intercooler. Please check out my other videos for more info. Cheers

I did not get a check engine light from the intake, I did however get a check engine light from the catless DP. I just turned of CEL monitoring in Bootmod. Just run a diagnostic in bootmod and it will tell you the cause of the code. It's not uncommon to get a check engine code shortly after intake mod

@@3xcelsi0r10 the reason I did these upgrades is because I wanted to run a Bootmod 3 Stage 2 tune. The stock intercooler and charge pipes are inadequate for running higher boost. The stock chargr pipes are plastic and prone to cracking, so its recommended to replace even just for basic precautions. The Wagner intercooler is required to run Stage 2. I also have a Wagner catless down pipe and remus exhaust for better free flowing exhaust. I also have an injen intake which does not add much performance but sounds awesome. Hey bro, yea run some data logs on stage 1 and then flash back to the stock tune and run some more logs for comparison. Maybe also run a diagnostic via BM3 if you haven't done so already, to see if there are any other codes appearing. Cheers

FTP Motorsport charge and boost pipes were installed before i added the Injjen intake. I also have the Wagner competition intercooler and catless downpipe, running Bootmod3 93 Octane Stage 2 tune ots map

I just installed the FTP charge pipe and will be installing the Boostpipe , I’ll be getting a Wagner catless Downpipe , how was the down pipe?

@@deependf30 was there a major difference when you installed the catless downpipe? I’m deciding to go with the Wagner tuning catless, w my m performance exhaust, I’m trying not to get any ricey car sound .

@@GeckoDays as long as you are ok with a little bit of a gas smell, otherwise get a highflow downpipe. I also ended up doing a resonator delete and a Remus sport muffler, but that was after i made this video. I suggest upgrading the charge and boost pipes, the factory pipes are prone to cracking so its good preventative mod and if you plan on tuning the car its a must... If you plan on going to a stage 2 tune, you also need upgraded intercooler and downpipe. High flow downpipe is a good option. And yea the downpipe changes the sound quite a bit, def improvment lower more agressive tone

@@GeckoDays nice bro, the FTP boost and charge pipes are great, they line up with the Wagner intercooler very well if you decide to get that too. Are you running Bootmod? Bootmod makes a huge difference, even stage 1 its a noticeable improvment in power. Super easy to use as well, im dropping a BM3 tuning how to tutorial soon like next week

Hi Leon, the car has never been on the Dyno, so I can only speculate and estimate based on the mods I have. I have BootMod 3 stage 2 93 octane tune with a Wagner Catless Downpipe, resonator delete with Remus Axlback Sport Exhaust, Wagner Competition Intercooler, FTP Motorsport charge and boostpipes, Injen Short Ram intake and sitting on KW V1 coilover suspension. If i had to guess on hp and tq, i would say about 100 hp and torque gain from stock. I will makd a dyno video in the near future and posting a Bootmod3 tuning video this week, please subscribe! Cheers
