How well dose plywood fit in the back of a 2024 Toyota Tacoma?
This video is to show that a 4x8 sheet of plywood dose not fit great in the back of a new Tacoma. I had the question myself, and wanted to video how it went.

    That's why a single cab with a long bed is the best type of pickup you can buy. Pickup trucks were never meant to carry your family, that is what mini vans are for. I have an older Toyota Pickup with a long bed, 7ft long, and have zero issues hauling anything in the back. Problem is, long beds are not as common anymore.

    The tacoma bed on the quad cab is basically worthless for doing any real work. Rear seats are worthless for any adult to try to ever get in. WHY on earth the TACO is so popular is beyond me. In the past they were renown for reliability I know but the footprint is WORTHLESS for any construction work at all. The length not so much like you said the width between fender wells is the biggest issue.

    • @westcoastplinkin6559
      @westcoastplinkin6559 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not really Toyotas fault. American consumers have spoken and they demand the double cab. It is the most sold type of Tacoma. Tacomas use to be single cab, I have one with a 7ft bed that fits just about anything. Problem is, you can't find long beds anymore because people don't want them.

      I have been seeing the same thing. I had the dealer remove some deeper scratches I saw the day after I bought it. They did a great job, and removed most of the bad swirls. That being said, I feel like it is inevitable that we are going to get swirls. The black just show all the imperfections. I am looking at Ceramic coating it, but there is just to many options, and it is hard to say if it will hold up to off roading.

    Just driving into MOAB is a kick in the pants. I went as a copilot in an FJ cruiser group. Even if you pick up a set of rims that you can drop a pair of larger tiers on like some Patagonia's your clearance would be superior and you could run lower PSI for better grip and still maintain higher clearance.

  • @cowgirl2mk505
    @cowgirl2mk505 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The water freezing test really wasn't a fair test. I've put water bottles into a chest freezer on top of other frozen food, and it has taken a couple of days for them to freeze solid. Also, if you're wanting bottles like this to freeze, stacking them upright will allow the bottles access to the coldest part of the cooler. They will tend to freeze faster. The other thing is that the cooler is being asked to freeze things while out in full sun during a 100 degree day. If they had put the cooler in the shade, things would have cooled or frozen much faster. Also, using a thermal blanket to protect the cooler from heat (don't cover the vent!) helps a lot. I have 2 coolers similar to this (not the same brand) and have been really happy with them. But you do have to use your head when you're setting things up.

    You should have kept going. What you did was one of the hardest spots. The rest of the trail is nice and scenic. There are some additional, and longer steep inclines but most are not too difficult to navigate. You did a great job- just keep it low and slow and follow the black tire marks. Also, take the inclines on as straight as possible- never going sideways against the hill. If you follow those rules, you should be fine. Most people will air down their tires a bit on hills like this as well. That helps a lot with grip. Go back and do a "HR Part II!" Nice dog!
