Why You're so Prideful | Humble Yourself | There is No Fear in Love
I never realized how prideful I was until I learned humility and met God. I was programmed by society into thinking of and worshipping myself. Oh, how miserable I was! If I hadnt experienced ego death, I wouldnt have known humility. Society celebrates pride because society is ruled by demonic forces, and whether you believe in it or not, there is a spiritual battle out for your soul.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. [Ephesians 6:12]
The opposite of pride is humility, and humility requires sacrifice and selflessness. It requires dying to/denying yourself and your selfish desires in order to live for God and walk in obedience. It's also something no one wants to do because they're following the crowds that live in their sins, and live according to their flesh.
And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." [Mark 8:34]
To love is to be humble and to love is to not operate from a spirit of fear, for fear and love cannot exist together.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. [1 John 4:18]

    Seek and you shall find. Most atheists don't seek because they don't humble themselves due to intellectual pride. They get humbled by God during crises, but it's better to humble yourself before God because when he humbles you, you get HUMBLED humbled and that usually hurts the soul because of shame, guilt or condemnation, and this makes it hard to reciprocate Gods love back to him. I love the atheist to Jesus testimonies. Thanks for sharing!

    so how does that make ya feel about homosexuality or trans people? suddenly sinful people on their way to hell?

    • @kuroPOLAROID
      @kuroPOLAROID 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have great love and sympathy for these people. I know and work with people who belong to these communities and I treat them no different than anyone else, even when they might not treat me well because of the connotations that come from Christians when it comes to their community. They need and deserve a lot of love, understanding, and compassion, since they have lost their way. Everyone struggles with sin (myself included, of course) and is worthy of salvation. It doesn't mean I agree with their lifestyle, no different than those who struggle with addictions, or any other sin that might seem lesser. I definitely don't think they should be shown less love than anyone else

    • @o.g.6221
      @o.g.6221 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kuroPOLAROID the belief that gays such as myself have "lost their way" or equating a homosexual orientation with addiction, as if it is a sickness, in and of itself, shows some prejudices towards gays that you may or may not know ya have. but maybe i can understand, just as i don't agree with the christianity lifestyle.

    • @kuroPOLAROID
      @kuroPOLAROID 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@o.g.6221 Well, homosexuality does go against the original design of God. This isn't supposed to be a hateful statement, but the truth. This what I mean by losing their way. I don't equate your sexuality to who you are as a person, the same way I wouldn't equate someone's addictions to who they are as a person, but you are choosing to attach it your identity when it's not. You are more complex and more interesting than which gender you have an attraction to. You are still a beautiful creation of God, who is worthy of being loved and understood fully. We all struggle with things that go against the commandments and design of God, obedience included. We are rebellious and sinful by nature, and typically lack self-control in certain areas of our lives. I never agreed with Christianity for 90% of my life, but living how I wanted to, away from God, made me severely depressed for over 20 years, and I tried EVERYTHING to prove that I didn't need it until it was my last option. I'm not ignorant or close-minded to the lifestyle or the mentality or the arguments of people who belong to the LGBT community. I understand your side of things too, but I don't have to agree with it, just like you don't have to agree with Christianity. I can still be respectful without having to agree or condone the behavior. I supported them for most of my life, and that's why I don't have any hate towards any of them, but I know a vast majority struggle with mental illness or other identity disorders that I believe should be acknowledged and helped, instead of shunned and shamed.

    • @o.g.6221

      @@kuroPOLAROID yeah. being gay is about the least interesting thing about me. probably as much as being straight for you or to your identity. but if there are gay people who struggle with mental health issues, music like the rest of america, i always have to wonder why... is it because of people in the church and the pervading culture who spout off such things as you just said? that a small segment of the population less than thirty years ago still couldn't get married... and were getting arrested and labelled as felons for having sex. unfortunately, christinity engenders prejudice in its followers hearts towards people who gay. or trans. i used to be a christian. a celibate christian for years. and realised i had too much love in my heart as a nurse. and as a human being. to keep believing in a religion that engendered prejudices in my heart towards entire groups of other people for something so small as one's sexuality or religion. and i had the audacity to believe that people were going to hell. who am i? interesting we have had opposite journeys. but i am living the american dream as a gay man. and have been blessed.

    • @kuroPOLAROID
      @kuroPOLAROID 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@o.g.6221 Hurt people hurt people, regardless of their identities. A lot of the people in the church that hurt others have a more self-righteous and religious attitude that they love to cling to as a way to make themselves seem more superior to others. These are like the Pharisees and Sadducees of the bible, which also turned people away from God. Unfortunately it's always the worst of the bunch that taint the name of certain groups, so that when you interact with someone who identifies as belonging to that group, we automatically jump to assuming they must be exactly like the bad reputation that they get ( those pre-conceived prejudices). This is why I don't believe in generalizations for any group of people and that there are so many different perspectives out there worth getting to know and understand, and approached with love. Christianity to me is a relationship with God, and I'm grateful that I'm around a group of other Christians that don't believe in being hateful towards certain types of groups. I'm so sorry that you were taught to show hatred and prejudices to any groups because that is NOT Christianity. I know that religious trauma can contribute to many people's mental illnesses, but so does bad upbringings in general, broken families, childhood trauma, SA, lack of emotional regulation, fatherlessness, etc., and sadly society has been designed to make people this way because there's a bigger agenda at play here. These types of issues of pitting groups of people against each other and divisiveness is meant to keep us in fear and not uniting. Don't ever let that love go to waste! Remember that even those you may not like are worthy of love too, even if you don't agree with their lifestyle ❤

I was never an atheist, but I am always wondering how atheists come to Jesus, and I really appreciate hearing such stories. With all due respect, I hope you will notice that the mushrooms may well have been the door openers for the sleep paralysis and other demonic activity that was happening AT THE SAME TIME IN YOUR LIFE. i would not suggest mushrooms to anyone and for some people they have been OBVIOUSLY an evil influence. I believe the fallen angels had some part in "fallen plants," such as magic mushrooms, marijuana, poppies for addictive drugs and more.

      @@kuroPOLAROID Amen. In my own life various "recreational" and "spiritual" (then illegal) drugs including marijuana had DEVASTATING effects on my life, but I didn't see it until I ended up with an intense demonic attack inside my own mind at one point. Later, after being delivered of those demons, I backslid in a big way (though always loving Jesus and never meaning to dishonor Him) and ignored the Bible (of which I was too critical) and forgot to even pray (without even noticing) and actually ended up far from His way for 30 years. What a SHOCK it was to my system when I realized I had thrown away 30 years of my life with so much foolishness that was harmful to my own life and others, and "came back" to Jesus in a big way. Also stunning to me was realizing that just a few years earlier I had WANTED to take Ayahuasca. I am forever grateful to God that it was illegal in the U.S. at that time and I could not afford to travel for it. How could I have been so STUPID? Well, I'll tell you: spend enough time thinking your own thoughts and doing what YOU want to do that you know the Bible said you should not and you will be AMAZED at what you will forget! I know that many people seek Truth by taking different drugs nowadays, and I just can't help but try to dissuade them. Demonic attacks can be beyond terrifying and I wish that on no one! God bless!!!

      @@kuroPOLAROIDHi! But hearing your testimony i thought you became evangelical! 😮 You even said that The Catholic church is not Christian (by The contrary, it is. Jesus is The pilar of The Catholic church. And historically, it was The first Christian church). I AM adressing this to you with all respect! I am a former devout Catholic and had evangelical friends also.

      @@kuroPOLAROID Hi, again! Thanks for giving me a response. Are you still reading The Cathecism? What do you think of it? Please, dont make this Journey Alone. Ask for help of those that haver studied Theology. The Society of Jesus and The Order of Saint Dominic are 2 Catholic congregations that are amazing! They Will answer your doubts. And they are not afraid of being questioned and challenged. P.s. Sorry for my rusty English. It is not my native tongue.

    Through all the years, from birth and up to date Jesus our God has been holding you in His embrace, even though the years away from knowing Him were allowed to take place yet surely Jesus was reaching out to you from a young age to know Him, though He does not push anyone upon Himself but patiently nudges His own towards Him throughout life. Jesus surely knows His own from before each child of His is born and surely He knows the lifespan of all and with His own whom He knows will choose Him at some point in life before passing, so God has His embrace throughout life and patiently waits for the moment when His own choose Him. As it took place with you, since the moment you chose Him, He has been talking to you, even though it is not audible, His Spirit voice surely speaks and the spirit inside His own hear Him even though the mind does not fully understand. At a point in walking with Christ, His voice becomes familiar, even though it still is not heard audibly. Being born again in Christ, that is where Jesus' Holy Spirit makes a home inside the believer and with time His Spirit voice becomes familiar and Jesus tidys the home He makes inside His own whom are born again. The growing God surely does but for each child of His, each one is at a different place of being grown, so the best thing we can do for ourselves is to not compare ourselves with other believers and their walk with Christ. Walking with Jesus is a lifelong process and so each one He individually works on as He knows is good for us, yet He works on establishing His truth about His saving grace. His saving grace salvation gift can never be earned and first and foremost Jesus works on us to know so and not be caught up in the lies that are taking place in religions that are across the world. As it seems to be, that you already know there are thousands of religions in the world, but the truth of God is that He is not about being in a religion. God did not create us to be in religion but to have a one on one relationship with Him and this is not for having salvation, because salvation is His gift and not one person is able to earn the way to Heaven. Christ offers salvation for free and this is critical for believers to understand and be grounded on His foundation of truth, which is His saving grace foundation. Grace can never be earned. It even goes for us between one another...whom would want to pay someone for them to have grace upon the one needing grace? Same applies to love, to have someone whom loves another simply because of love, that is true love. Paying for love is obsured, it is offensive and same applies to us towards God, He does not want for us to try to pay Him or work for His love, which is the same thing as for salvation, surely God does not want for anyone to try and work or pay for salvation, which is impossible to do anyway and no one will ever enter Heaven by doing such. Entering Heaven is solely a gift and can never be earned. Now as for walking with our Saviour, of course it is good to walk with God, though to walk with Him by His Spirit of truth; His Holy Spirit being the mender of our hearts along the way and it has nothing to do with having the key to Heaven, for the key to Heaven is His gift. Religions have done so much damage and all religions fall short of the glory of God. A believer should never be binded to a religion, even though it may sound good yet behind the scenes religions infiltrate the mind along the way and the doctrines of man become prominent. Does not mean to not have fellowship with church goers but being a babe in Christ, it is best to remember that Christ is our fellowship and He leads the way to having fellowship with brethren in Him. Nameing self as a religion is not what God wants for His sons and daughters, though there are millions and even billions of christians that do such and overall many end up having division umongs one another, and for what, when God gave us His simple command to love Him and our neighbor, yet the division that takes place because of man-made doctrines through religion has done so much damage to christians. The foundation of Christ was and is all about His grace and being children of His whom look not unto the commandments of the law that He gave in past times but to look to Hin for His great commandment which was stated above. The Ten commandments are whom God is and not only those ten because there are hundreds of levitical commandments that He once gave to mankind but it does not mean mankind is to do them, which would be impossible even if mankind tried. Let alone just ten commandments mankind could not do. God gave His commandments for showing us whom He is and what we could not do. It is why God came down as Jesus, even though He was born of Mary, Jesus was, is and always will be God. It is why Jesus claimed the title as God, because He was and is God. Jesus left His God state in Heaven when He came down to be born of Mary, thus He took on the form of a baby, to be born like one of us, yet proving He could be sinless and the ultimate goal for Him doing such was and is to save mankind by His grace for mankind. See how dangerous religions are, they distort the truth of God and make it all about their doctrines which every religion has made for itself its own man- made way to Heaven, even though many religions use the Bible, yet they distort the Word of God to fit their own man-made doctrines. Satan is the one that has whispered lies to man, that it would do what is taking place across the world and God is allowing it for His greater plans of victory will show the whole world, from begining of time until the last person born, that God is God and the only God and once satan is put in his place and destroyed at the end, all of God' children will know He is The Alpha and Omega...even though many know now, yet when all is said and done, His creation will forevermore know that God is forevermore on The Throne. Never again will such take place as it did with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. What the angel of light did, which we now know as the satan the devil, it will never again happen because forevermore the story of what took place will forever be know in Paradise. Anyhow, went on a bit but I hope this makes sense and overall may Jesus our Lord be the way maker for you along the way and surely He will. Be patient for God to mend the heart and mind as He knows is good...not that you are not already...meanwhile do not get yourself into religion by taking on the lable of mankind, stick to Jesus our God and surely He will make the way in all things and overall all the glory being His alone. Blessings be upon you and yours and His wisdom fill you daily according to His will and for His glory. Amen.

      Not to question but am curious and many profess God, though sadly many leave out whom God gave to be the Mediator between mankind and The Creator. There is only one God and Jesus is the true God and all whom call upon God and want to know Him must go through Jesus, even though Jesus is the same God; The Creator. God established for Himself that His creation comes to Him through what He gave to be The Way, The Truth and The Life; being Jesus Christ The one and only Saviour and God. Anyhow, please try to not take this the wrong way, am just curious to whom you call God.

    Lost me at the difference between christian and catholic. Ignorance. Catholics are christian. They are the original church, passed down to is through succession of the apostles via tradition, word of mouth and scripture, as the bible teaches. Catholics compiled the bible. What you are referring to are protestants, which is just a blanket term for the thousands of sects of Christians who came up with their own interpretation of the bible and therefore believe they have some special authority to be disobedient to the church. Hey, you're right and I have been learning to know the difference. This testimony is definitely outdated for me now. I've been considering going back to Catholicism or Orthodoxy. I've started reading the Catechism to answer a lot of the questions and hesitations I've been having about it, and I can see how my view was ignorant. I wish that growing up catholic, I was told these things, but I wasn't.

      May Jesus open the doors that He knows need to be opened and close the doors that need closing, that religion and it's man-made doctrines would be set aside...God does not approve of any religion and surely He did not give mankind religion. Lean on Jesus and He will reveal His truth and the heart and mind will be set in Him alone and not mankind at its lies through religions. All religions fall short of the glory of God and only The Alpha and Omega is the way maker of setting the mind and heart on His truth of whom He is and what He wants for His creation.

      Protestant and Catholic biblical practices are the same. The divergence is Catholic Church elevates the church as the sole infallible authority, Protestants say the WORD as Jesus words (yes church as a community confirmed what’s the scriptures but just because we can call a dog a dog doesn’t mean WE created the dog. God is still the author and finisher of our faith including the word of god) is the only infallible authority. there is disobedience to gods teaching and infiltration from satans hoards in both Catholic and Protestant churches. This is why we need the word humility and discernment through gods holy spirit.

    VAST multitudes seeking truth *fail to find* because they're easily *led astray* by worldly logic, sensuality, vain esoterism or specious mysticisms. *I know I was.* I'm an ex neo-vedantic (hindu roots) new ager. I used to be into so much "cosmic/spiritual" stuff: trance channelings, ancient wisdom, gnosticism, psychedelic drugs, hindu gurus and buddhist variants. I was illuminated by the *kundalini (serpent) spirit* then 8 years ago I got rightly enlightened by the *Holy Spirit* which proceeded to show me what a *fool* I was before..... Spirit led to the REAL *Yahusha/Jesus Christ* and everything changed - *Paradigm Shifted* ..... ..... This is being *BORN AGAIN* and it's an ongoing surprise to me 😁

    24:00 wrong definition of reiki in your mind. It is how Jesus heals. Energetic transfer. Nothing wrong with that. The body is energy, the universe is energy, consciousness is energy. Or electricity if you wish. So nothing wrong with reiki at all. Something wrong with your perception and interpretation of things. Hope that helps.

    • @kuroPOLAROID

      Reiki is the demonic counterfeit of the same healing Jesus does. As far as I'm aware, inviting spirit guides into the room for healing is the same thing as inviting demons. If the holy spirit is not present, it's not of God.

    • @John_Lete
      @John_Lete 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Can say for sure that reki is not of God...whereas the devil infiltrates the minds of lost souls to make them think that his ways are truth, when in fact the devil satan is all about cunning tricks and lies. Sadly many are tricked by the lies from satan and all the devil does is lie, even though he will use the Bible as a way to enter in the lives of lost souls, where the devil will use half truth from the Bible to make himself sound intelligent and as if he is bringing truth but he sneaks in his lies at the same time and the for folks that listens to what the devil gives, at some point the mind becomes fully corrupted because the devil is all about corrupting minds. Even though the devil has no real powers like God does, though the devil is very wise at how to be sneaky and sneak himself into the lives of people by his whispering lies. Now is the time to call upon Jesus and ask Him to open the mind that the heart would know His truth and His truth sets the heart and mind free from the cunning lies of the devil where his lies take no effect anymore. Call upon Jesus and see the comfort that comes from Him which is like no other comfort for He is the real Comforter. 🤍

      Jesus is creator is Yahweh they made it all, but the spiritual and human forces in rebellion to God and HIS WAY co-opt and pervert gods work. Yes there is energy healing from Jesus. But reiki is a perverted false path for something that god offers freely. God tells us exactly how to get healing to confess our sins submit to him and Pray for deliverance. Anything else is unnecessary and dangerous. We don’t need no demons doing the work our creator will do for us do for us directy
