Kelley sang wonderfully yesterday morning! Unfortunately there was a technical difficulty that caused her voice to not come thru on this livestream. In the room you could hear when she sang. It has been fixed so it won't happen again. Just wanted to acknowledge this in case someone was wondering. Have a great week everyone!

THE FATAL ERROR No triune God exists. The bishops of the councils of Nicea and Costantinople had at their disposal the gospels as their best source of information, but they FAILED to realize that the Holy Spirit is NOT A "THIRD GOD-PERSON" but the FATHER IN FORM OF A SPIRIT ("God is a spirit"). Sometimes Jesus calls Him "Father", sometimes "Spirit" (Holy). Due to this FATAL ERROR the INVENTION of a THIRD OMNIPOTENT GOD was formalized. The INVENTED GOD (the "Lord who gives life") of course CANNOT be found in the bible. Of course this "nonexistent third God" is IGNORED in the relationship between Father and Son (of course They CANNOT talk to him since he doesn't exist), of course he cannot be in heaven, you can't pray to him...Alternatively(?) to the "Lord giver of life", the existing Paraclete is also currently meant to be the "Holy Spirit", but he is not. THE HOLY SPIRIT INSIDE JESUS WHO HELPS HIM IS NOT THE PARACLETE, HE IS THE FATHER (see the gospels where He helps the Son). Once again, the Father of course is a spirit. The Trinity theory also BLATANTLY CONTRADICTS other key points CLEARLY disclosed by the gospels. Indeed the theory says that the three persons are equal in power, when Jesus states the opposite "my Father is greater than I", it says that Jesus is omnipotent, when He needs to be led into the desert, it says that the three God-persons know the future, when the gospels state the contrary "... or THE SON, but the FATHER ONLY knows.". The inventors and supporters of the trinity theory simply DO NOT CARE (!!) and also now "offending fantasy arguments" are shamelessly employed to overturn some crystal clear statements of the gospels. The trinity theory is worth nothing and TO EXIST IT NEEDS TO BE STRENUOSLY PROTECTED AS A DOGMA. Without that protection it would immediately disappear. No mysteries exist: they are just the nonsensical outcome of a false theory.

Hi RV, here’s the weekend update for the January 23rd weekend…and this is a long one… If we talk about a big snow hitting us this weekend, there’s a good chance it will miss us and won’t amount to anything. So tell everyone you know it’s going to really dump a lot of snow on us and we should be good for this Sunday. I want to give you a quick update on our plans for gathering in person whenever the weather cooperates to let us do that. The pastors and elders have met and our sense is to resume in person meetings for worship on Sundays. Covid seems to be sweeping through us all at the moment, so we know we need to explain how we came to this decision. We’ve all been praying about this and trying to discern the will of the Lord together BUT, and I want to emphasize this, BUT, we are not saying “Jesus told us to meet.” We aren’t going to play that card. Still, we want to assure you we didn’t just pull this decision out of a hat or come to it without prayer listening. Here’s what we are thinking… First, Nearly all of us at RV have had the Covid vaccine and many of us are boosted. While the Omicron variant seems to be getting around the vaccine, the vaccine does seem to be providing protection to lessen the impact of Covid, many people testing positive while remaining with few or no symptoms. Second, the impact of isolation and separation on our mental health and our soul care has been huge and we are weighing that aspect of our well-being with the physical and medical aspects of health too. Third, we are NOT requiring ANYONE, volunteers, staff or ANYONE else to attend services. We realize there are risks in meeting together and only those who are prepared to assume such risks should plan to come to in person meetings at RV. You WILL NOT be judged for coming or for staying home. We will not tell you that coming or staying home is God’s will for YOU. Fourth, we will continue to ask everyone to adhere to the following practices whenever and wherever we gather as RVers… * We will wear masks over our mouths and noses when we gather. Masks will be provided if you don’t have one. We will keep them on at all times inside the building. “ALL” in this case means ALL and we’ll suspend coffee service for now. (For my rule following brothers and sisters, please remember this rule is created for and meant for our good and we weren’t made for the rule - no one is policing your mask wearing and if it comes off briefly you won’t be scolded or given the stink-eye.) * Children should wear masks if they are able but we realize that some are too small to understand or for this to be a reasonable ask and again, no one will scold you or give you the stink eye. * We will physically distance ourselves in our seating. Look for ways to sit with the people in your social bubble/family away from others and when the service is over, give each other space as we move out of the building. * Wash your hands and use the hand sanitizer stations that are provided throughout our building. * If you are symptomatic with any communicable illness, PLEASE stay home and let us pray for you to be healed. Symptomatic means: sore throat, scratchy throat, fever, persistent cough, persistent sneezing, feeling lousy, feeling weak and fatigued. We love you, we bless you but we don’t want to be near you. * One big exception to everything I have just said is that when individuals are leading our songs or speaking from the floor up front, they will periodically remove their masks to speak or sing. Each individual doing so has been vaccinated and will not be there if they have been recently exposed to Covid or are experiencing symptoms. We are setting out to eliminate as much risk as we possibly can to make meeting together in person as safe as we can. We will continue to offer our service LIVE on-line every Sunday, we will also continue to create online opportunities for connection via social media and the Zoom. Please do not feel any pressure by this announcement to compromise any of the decisions you and your family have made about your health and safety. We respect the approach you and your family choose to take in this intense time of the pandemic. Along with everything I’ve just said about Sundays, it’s our intention to also try to create opportunities for us to share time and space together indoors and outdoors as RVers. No one is required to participate in any events, online or in person, they are opportunities, but we feel it important, as we move forward together, to find same ways for us to connect. Now, with this weekend coming up, we’ll be announcing Saturday afternoon if we’ll be meeting in person on Sunday or not. Our intention is to meet but if the snow some are predicting does hit us, if you’ve been in Raleigh long, you know it’s more than enough to shut us down for the whole weekend and possibly into Monday. OK, I’ve taken enough of your time and attention, but I do appreciate both. We love you and we look forward to being with you whenever and wherever that finally happens and as safely as we can possibly make it. If you’ve got some fresh, creative ideas on ways we can meet up or connect with each other, please let us know. In the meantime, stay safe out there and remember, there ARE better days ahead.
